Lucy Grange vs Belinda Northman - Clash of the blondes!

Lucy was no stranger to taking hard falls on the head, her stubborn nature came with a relatively thick skin. Came in handy too when you botched high risk offence, a regular occurrence. At least it made for funny GIFS. Though right now Lucy felt there was nothing funny about her situation, Belinda was now in the advantaged state in this match. Using her power advantage to good use in being able to heft the sweet loving Brit, it served to rattle Ms Grange. For the moment though, the length of the match was still young. So there was always a chance for a comeback.

Belinda rolled Lucy over, the bright side was it let Lucy regain her awareness. The lights above the ring making her narrow her eyes to try and relieve herself of the stinging effect. But that was quickly covered by Belinda then applying an armbar, and instantly a large amount of pain shot into Lucy's right arm. Her favoured arm as well.

Naturally Ms Grange reacted with a pained yelp, damn that hurt. But Lucy knew what to do in this case, thanks to her several years of sparring with her Brother. The first instance was to not panic, and seek a way to deal with it. Powering out wasn't usually something recommended, so there was the next best thing. Lucy would quickly jerk her body to the right and move up, intent on trying to pin Belinda's shoulder's for the mat for a pin. Granted Ms Northman would probably milk the hold for all it's worth, but she'd relent before the three count. And Lucy knew that.

Belinda was in a fairly good position right now as she took a hold of Lucy's arm and pulled her into that painful arm-bar, which went pretty darn well to start off with. She was able to put a painful wrench upon the lovely fellow blond. That arm was going to be a prime target for Belinda right now. 

Though it did seem as if Lucy didn't want to be taken advantage of. As she quickly rolled the Swede up into a pin, with the ref-girl as quick as ever she went in and started the count. " One!..." 

Belinda would try something else, trying to twist herself and Lucy to the side and attempt to get the two of them down yet again with hopefully the Swede still having the British girl locked in a arm-bar again!

Lucy in spite of her ring attire not belonging in the squared circle was fully aware of the rules in it, sometimes it was best to try and milk it for all it was worth. And in submissions it was often wiser to not power out and exhaust yourself further, rather seek an alternative method of escaping. And going for a pin at this point in the match probably wasn't going to get a win, but it'd serve as a warning for Belinda of what could happen.

At least that was on paper, Belinda chose to instead rock the boat. Twisting herself to the side meant that the attached Lucy was also taken for the ride, not only did it stop the pin attempt but it allowed Ms Northman to resume the hold. Which only resulted in more pain for Lucy, the exact opposite of what the Brit had hoped for in this attempt.

"Dammit!" Lucy shouted, a mixture of frustration from her escape not working and Belinda getting one over with this painful hold. But as luck had it this might present another escape chance, Belinda would have moved Lucy much closer to the ropes. Lucy quickly noticed this and would shift to put her foot on the bottom rope, signalling a rope break and the ref moving in. Belinda had a five count this time, each one felt like a minute for Lucy. But anything was better than sitting and doing nothing.

Belinda didn't want to let go of Lucy easily and she was showing off a bit of the fruits of her labors. Which seemed to take Lucy by surprise as her blond friend was once again pulled into the armbar which seemed to not be sitting to well with her fellow blond. Belinda would try and wrench back as much as she could on that arm and cause Lucy some much needed damage.

It wasn't long until Lucy went and grabbed the ropes though. Which quickly got the ref-girl to come up and start the count. Though she didn't even manage to get out a one count, before Belinda had uncoiled her legs from Lucy and rolled backwards. Quickly pulling herself up to her feet and bouncing on her toes a bit. The crowd cheering loudly for the two blond combatants.

" Phew!...You've got some pretty good ring awareness there, Lucy." Belinda let out with a smile on her face as she would offer Lucy the chance to get to her feet so they could square off again.

Lucy knew that this hold could hurt like a bitch, though she'd prefer it over her legs. Given her usual habits with leaping around the place she'd need her legs to perform it, though when she couldn't take to the air she had to rely on her knowledge on the ground game. She and her Brother had that as a backup to their main approaches to their matches, when you couldn't reach the ropes you needed to make a creative comeback to get yourself out of the hold. Lucy might have seen like a typical British schoolgirl, but it was more of an attire gimmick than anything else. Kayfabe could still matter dammit.

Still Belinda got the notice and backed out, the one count meant only two seconds till victory. And the Swede was savvy enough to know that, Lucy though was just thankful for that relief on her arm. Stung like a bitch, Lucy quietly hissed as she shook her limb to get the feeling in it back. Though Belinda's next action jarred Ms Grange though, offering a hand up and some praise.

At first Lucy hesitated, mostly because of the fact it was a match. However the Brit reminded herself that it was Belinda, someone that had warranted the respect of Ms Grange. Therefore......

"Thanks Belinda. If it was anyone else that offered this....." Lucy said, she then accepted Belinda's offer and stood up. "I wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt.....Because it's you though I will." Ms Grange got a loud pop from the crowd at this great display of sportsmanship, that said though she quickly backed away. Lightly cracking her neck Lucy prepared herself to carry on with what had proven to be an exciting bout.

Belinda wasn't the kind to let the match get in the way of a friendship or the like. She would treat Lucy as she'd treat her any other time. It seemed as if Lucy felt the same way as Belinda helped her up. The Crowd was loving this sportsmanship that was shown between the two blonds. 

The Swede smiled as she would take a few steps back and roll her shoulders. " Let's get the ball rolling and start to take this to the next level. Shall we ?" Belinda said with a smile as she would start to head closer towards Lucy, looking to offer a standard collar and elbow tie up to her fellow blond.

Truth be told Lucy didn't recall ever really doing this in a match, granted she had done this in sparring. But a match more often than not things like the heat of the moment and people being less than altruistic typically nixed that line of thought in a proper match, and Ms Grange didn't normally give the benefit of the doubt to her opponent. She'd been burned with it in the past so that might have been a factor, however Belinda was someone Lucy gave respect for. It wasn't an easy thing to earn, but she liked to pick them carefully.

Ms Grange smiled at Belinda's words, well there had been enough of the early going. Both showed what they could do, but it was going to have to be a case of stepping up. Lucy could certainly do that from right back to high school where she'd go up against the big boys just to prove she could, Belinda might have gotten the better thus far. But Lucy was going to make sure there was something from her in the highlights video of this match.

Carefully Lucy would go into the collar and elbow tie-up, it wasn't something she often indulged in. Namely because her opponents tended to be larger and therefore could out muscle Ms Grange, here though Lucy would be bold as she so often was. Quickly aiming to shoot a knee into Belinda's gut before trying to send her straight flying to the ropes with an Irish whip!

Belinda didn't really think to much about treating Lucy with a bit of sportsmanship. She felt it was good from time to time and it seemed as if the British blond was more than happy to oblige when it came to some sportsmanship. Though now that both of them were up on their feet, it was only a matter of time before they would clash off again. 

The Swede offered up a standard lock-up to get the ball rolling again and it seemed as if it would. The Swede and the Brit locked up, but it didn't stay that way for long as Lucy brought her knee right up into Belinda's abs, forcing the Swede to gasp out a good deal of air from her lungs and left her vulnerable for what came next. Lucy took a hold of her arm and swung her off, forcing the blond cutie to run off towards the ropes. 

Turning at the final second to bounce off of those ropes and come running off towards Lucy. The Swede would be helpless to stop herself from running at Lucy because of that knee she had taken to her stomach.

Lucy usually preferred not trying to outgrapple her opponents, being smaller than them often just meant she'd tend to lose. Granted thanks to fellow members of the UK Elite she had learned techniques to tilt the odds in her favour, this would serve Ms Grange well. Her taller opponents could get softened up by a gut check and then using this chance to throw them for a loop and swing thing around, granted Lucy knew this wouldn't harm Belinda much. Though Lucy was just getting settled in for the long haul, this was simply the start of act 2 in the eyes of the Brit.

After throwing the Swede for a loop Lucy instantly made sure to face Belinda, Lucy was half tempted to try and go for the opposite ropes and go for a clothesline. But Belinda was already on the rebound, too much time to setup and Lucy wasn't certain if she could pull it off with the oomph that would be better with this attack. Sides Ms Grange had something else in mind.

Lucy rushed forward instead, and with practised movement honed over her time in the indies the British girl would leap up and wrap her legs around Belinda's neck and flip herself backwards using the momentum of her opponent to take her for a sudden and jarring ride with a hurricarana!

Belinda was reeling a bit after that nasty knee she took right to her gut, it had caused her to double over and start to back pedal a bit, not wanting to give Lucy the chance to take advantage of the window she had just opened to attack Belinda. 

Sadly the short haired blond soon found herself seeing Lucy running at her and before she could do anything about the Brit, the baby girl had jumped up and wrapped her legs tightly around the Swede's head, whom was then yanked forward and pulled down until her back slammed hard down onto the mat with a heavy thud. " Uugh!" The Swede cried out in pain as she was thrown down for that painful hurricanrana....

She hadn't expected that at the very least...it seemed as if she would have to be a bit more careful in regards.
