"ONE!"

It was only vaguely that Raiden realized that Kei was going for the pin. His shoulder was being held down, and the first thing he saw was her arm across his own face as he tried to wake himself out of the daze. It wasn't happening quick enough for his tastes, however. But what would happen if he lost his debut match so easily and so quickly? He'd never garner respect, and just end up another punching bag. What would Dave think of him?

"TWO!"

With that, he surged a bit, managing to kick out of the pin. He couldn't let things stay like that; he had to at least try and fight back a bit more. He was still heavily dazed, but he managed just enough strength to kick out of the pin, and push himself back into the fight as a result. Once Kei moved off of him, he would try to roll away almost immediately.

After Raiden kicked out Kei made a small glance towards the referee, not one to despite the count but just being sure she heard the result right that it was only a count of two. Focusing back on Raiden again she saw him trying to roll away from her. "Where do you think you're going?" she tells him as she reaches for him again. Looking to pull him up quickly she would aim to hook one of his legs as if she was going for a cradle suplex, but instead her thought was to continue focusing on his head and plant him with a variation of a ddt. While she was impressed with his ability to still be in it she didn't want to risk giving him a chance to teach him a thing or two.

Kei managed to grab him before Raiden could roll far enough away, making the small man elicit a small yelp. It was like he was weightless for a moment, with Kei so effortlessly counteracting the pull of gravity trying to pull him back down to the canvas.

It was confusing for a moment, trying to figure out what she was trying to go for; before he knew it, she had gotten him ready for a cradle suplex -- but he still ended up on his head. He yelled out, grabbing for his head, his vision now swimming a bit from all of the attacks.

Feeling that she was close to putting this one away Kei decided to pick Raiden up once more, this time she looked to whip him towards one of the corners, not the same one that they were in earlier though. When he made contact she would take a moment to size him up before running in. When she felt that she was close enough she would jump and turn before looking to ram her body back first into him.

Raiden practically felt like a doll, the way she kept tossing him around into the corners, onto the canvas, everything. He was easily tossed into the corner, landing with a grunt and a small thud. He could tell she was setting up for something, but he wouldn't, he couldn't let it happen! Why had he bothered to even kick out of the pin if he was just going to be subjected to more punishment?

He dropped down before she could ram her body into him, slipping through the ropes as she slammed into the corner. He would move onto the turnbuckle from there and try to jump onto her shoulders in order to ride her down into the mat using the momentum from the jump.

Nobody was home as Kei made contact with the corner. She manages to come out of the corner but not connecting with her intended target didn't feel good as she came out a bit slow and favouring the part of her back that made the most contact with the corner. After a short while of shaking it off she felt someone catch her by surprise, hitting her in the shoulders. She staggered forward and not expecting him to try to hold on to her caused her to swerve and she stumbled forward and on to her side, landing near the ropes.

Things didn't go the way he wanted with that blow. Raiden was attempting to ride her down onto the mat, but she was a little too firm in her grip; instead, he went one way, she went the other. But that just meant that he was a little farther than he expected -- it was no big deal.

He grabbed for the arm closest to him and shifted so his feet was against her side, after trying to pull her onto her back -- before yanking that arm between his legs, one leg at her side and the other at the shoulder. A nice, simple armlock. He had to tire her out somehow -- he didn't have much of his own defenses left.

Even though what Raiden was going for was a simple move Kei knew it was still something she shouldn't be in for very long if she could help it. Given their whereabouts she had more than one option she could go with to attempt to get out of this. While trying to keep one of her shoulders of the canvas, even if not by much but enough to avoid being pinned she would look to strike the side of the knee that was closest to her to get his leg to move a little bit and maybe throw part of his grip off a little bit. She looked to shift her body position enough so she could get her feet to make contact with the ropes. She felt one of her feet make contact and rest upon it and if she had the room she'd try to get both around them. Either way just getting a foot on there would be enough to warrant a rope break.

If she was given a clean break she'd shake the arm a little bit that he held on to a moment ago and a thought of what to do to him next came to mind. It would just be a matter of when she got vertical next whether it be her getting up on her own or him pulling her up. Either way she was plotting on taking his head off with a lariat.

Raiden couldn't help but growl lightly as Kei struck at his knee, helping to throw his grip off, and to even throw himself off his focus for a moment. He should have been paying attention to everything, but at the moment, all he wanted was to crank that hold on a bit tighter, and wear her down. He actually had a good grip on her and everything.

But he didn't see that damn leg going up, and he would have continued it had the referee not come over and begin yanking at him and pointing at it. He growled softly, under his breath, before finally letting go of her arm, pulling back for a moment to get his breath and find a new way to get control. But no matter what, it would be too late; as soon as he stood up, he found himself slammed upside the head by the lariat and sent back onto the mat, completely stunned.

When Kei connected with the lariat she knew that she had to end this as soon as possible, and with how the impact of the strike felt on her end she felt that she was close to doing just that. Even though she had a lot left in her, she knew that sometimes in this sport all it takes takes is one move at the right time to end things unexpectedly, and she didn't want to give Raiden the chance to recover and pull off that one lucky move. Even though that was a possibility she tried not to think about that and looked to stay focused on what was currently happening.

Not wanting to give him the time to stare at the lights she would pick him back up and set him up for a screwdriver. While she had options the first thought that came to mind was to go with what secured her many victories in the past. It was simple for her to apply yet the end result of planting the opponent on their head was what she was looking for her. If she managed to connect with it she would go for the cover and hold one of his legs for the pin attempt.
