Contendership Match- Chigusa Vs. Riana

Chigusa leapt back to put distance between them and allow Riana to get up. Knocking her to the ground and making her get back up used up energy, which was Chigusa's plan. She was going to wear down Hel that way.

When Hel got up, Chigusa noticed that she looked angry, furious, and vicious. "Maybe the rumors were true..." Chigusa thought. Hel charged forward, running to deliver a powerful knee uppercut. Chigusa had to dodge, for that blow would be too much for her to take. She leapt off to the side. She managed to dodge the blow, but did not land as solidly as she would've liked. Her feet slipped and she fell onto her butt.

Hel landed and kept going, stopping her momentum by catching herself on the ropes. Hissing, she would turn toward Chigusa, "Usually, I am the fast one." Bouncing off of the ropes, she would charge at the idol once more, aiming to use the momentum to aim a kick at Chigusa's torso. The kick wouldn't strike, though. Hel was hoping to psych Chigusa into rolling away and hopefully making herself a target for the elbow drop Hel was much more focused on delivering.

Of course, if Chigusa didn't roll away from Hel as she expected, Hel would likely almost trip over the idol.

Seeing Hel coming at her with a kick, Chigusa indeed tried to dodge it by rolling away. She fell for the trap without any suspicion, thinking that her speed would allow her to dodge anything Hel threw at her. She did not. Hel's sudden elbow drop caught Chigusa right in the stomach. "Guh!" Chigusa gasped, the air knocked out of her. She would roll on her side, curling up.

"She got me there," Chigusa thought.

Finally! Thrilled by finally landing a blow on the idol, Hel would try to push herself up on her knees and pounce atop Chigusa, hoping to grab the singer in a sleeper hold.

However, the blows she had taken in this match and the last were beginning to catch up with her. Hel had to pause to shake off the wooziness that struck as she got to her hands and knees. Chigusa would have a second or two to recover, though Hel would still try to tackle her as best she could after she had gotten herself going again.

Chigusa started to get up slowly. The pain in her stomach wasn't going away as fast as she would've liked. "This is wearing me down," Chigusa thought. She winced as she pushed herself to sit up. Right as she barely sat up, however, Hel trapped her in a sleeper! It seemed that the time it took Chigusa to recover was all Hel needed to get her strength back. Chigusa gave off a choked gasp as her air passage got cut off. Her arms went up to tug at Hel's arm, but she had no leverage. This was a bad situation for her.

"Think of a plan," Chigusa thought calmly, "It's not aver yet!" Chigusa would decide to throw an elbow back to see if she could hit Hel, and if she did she hoped it would be hard enough to convince Hel to let go.

Hel locked the hold in tightly, welcoming a chance to squeeze some of the life out of this pop star. Of course, Chigusa wasn't going down without a fight. After a few futile tugs, Chigusa struck at Hel with her elbow. Hissing in pain, Hel realized that she hadn't applied the hold as deftly as she would've liked to dodge that. Gasping in pain, she still wrenched the hold, not quite willing to let go.

((I'm going to take a bit of a liberty here, that Chigusa struck true and elicited a reaction from Hel but did not free herself would likely mean that she tries again.))

The second and third elbow came quicker once Chigusa knew what to strike at. Each one knocking some sense into Hel. She released the hold, letting Chigusa fall while she herself fell back into a sitting position and nursed her aching side. After a second, her focus would return and she would try to kick at Chigusa if she is still down on the ground near Hel, or she would try to get back up if she saw she had the time.

Chigusa had to convince Hel some more to let her go, as she did not let go after one elbow. It took three to force Hel to let go. Chigusa fell to the ground, gasping and clutching her neck. Her face was red from the lack of air. She took several deep breaths to regain her air. It was a painful move and she was worn down by the attack.

She then got kicked in her back. She cried out in pain, rolling away from Hel. She needed to regain the momentum. She began to try getting up, pained after a sleeper and getting kicked.

After nailing Chigusa with a kick, Hel herself would try to get up. She would slowly move to her feet, silently cursing whoever's idea it was to make this tournament consecutive matches. The idol was almost giving as good as she was getting. It was time to change that. Hel would try to get to Chigusa before she recovered and deliver a knee to her stomach to stun her, setting her up so that Hel could grab her head under her arm in a front facelock. She would then try to lift Chigusa up by her crotch and fall down, aiming to slam her head into the mat DDT style, giving Chigusa the added pain of falling vertically.

Right as Chigusa got to her feet, Hel closed the distance between them and gave her a solid knee in the stomach. Chigusa bit back her groan of pain, but still doubled over. She tried to back off and run away, but Hel had the advantage. Chigusa got caught in a front facelock. She knew a DDT was coming, having been on the recieving end of that move many times. She balled her hands into fists and started punching Hel in the hips and her sides, trying to get her to let go. It was futile. Chigusa gave a soft cry as Hel grabbed her by her crotch roughly and lifted her up. She struggled, but could not break free. Her light body was easy for Hel to lift. Hel leaned back, slamming Chigusa in a painful modified DDT. Chigusa actually felt the bones in her neck grate against each other. She nearly blacked out from the shock and pain. She lay on the mat on her back, dazed.

Hel grunted, struggling to still get the hold off in the face of Chigusa's flurry of frenzied punches. When Chigusa smacked in the mat, Hel grimaced. She could almost feel for the girl, who took that hit bad. Biting her lip, Hel crawled over to Chigusa and climbed atop her, still sore all over. She would lift one of Chigusa's legs up and try to pin her.
