Takeichi Mori vs Dave Blake

Takeichi was glad to be able to disrupt the move and catch the other in his bear hug, if only since it would give him a bit of time to recover from the earlier attack. Unfortunately for him that bit of time was short lived as Dave's forearms smacked against his skull causing his grip to slacken as his hands instinctively went to his head as he let out a sharp cry of pain. The knee then found its home in his gut as he gagged and doubled over, only to be hit with an axe handle that sent him to his knees as he tried to get the air back into his lungs, one hand on his stomach and the other to his back. He was completely vulnerable at this moment.

Dave smirked again, backing off from the guy to give him some space, "I guess modeling some fighting off Batman wasn't such a waste after all."

Yeah he was showing off his geek with that remark, but what the hell. No time like the present to experiment. Darting back in, he aimed a few more jabs into Takeichi's exposed side, just to whittle him down.

Takeichi blinked a bit as he heard the remark, in spite of his still feeling little air in his lungs after the last attack. So he was a fan of comics it seemed, maybe no matter how the match went they could talk about that.

This thought was interrupted though as he felt several strikes in his side, causing him to cough as a sharp pain started from his side to the rest of his body due to these jabs. This left him dazed further for whatever his opponent had in mind next.

Dave gave a sigh, backing off a bit, "i think you still got some fight left in you. Let me see some of it hot stuff!"

Putting up his fists, the young man settled into a ready position, eyes intent and ready for his opponent's next move.

Takeichi panted lightly, grateful that Dave gave him the chance to gather himself to continue the match and he was determined to not let his opponent down.

Getting back to his feet he looked back at Dave, determination clear in his eyes. He then made his move, dashing as if to make for a lock-up, at the last moment however he would move to the side, aiming to try and hit his opponent in the gut with a knee.

Dave went to guard for the impending lockup, when he realized his mistake. He caught the knee right in the stomach, nearly doubling him over as he coughed, trying to get air back into his lungs. Takeichi was smart, he'd give him that. His blows were nothing to scoff at either.

Takeichi gained a small smile as the knee hit home into Dave's stomach even if it wasn't enough to get him fully doubled over. As a bit of payback he aimed an axe handle to his back to try and force him to double over. If this succeeded he would move to place his head between his thighs, intending to go for a piledriver.

Catching the axe handle further drove Dave down. Groaning a bit, he managed a small smile as Takeichi stuffed his head between his legs.

"No need to be so forward." he said, "If you wanted me, you only had to ask."

Takeichi moved his arms around Dave's waist after setting him up before blinking at his words, a faint shade of pink forming.

"W-Wha...? No it's not like that!" He stammered, blushing a bit before moving to lift his opponent upside down for the piledriver though still clearly flustered, perhaps enough for a slim window of opportunity for Dave to take? If not then he would have him upside down before moving to slam him head first into the mat.

Dave smiled, feeling the grip loosen a bit. Using his legs, he wrapped them around Takeichi's neck for a head-scissors. If it worked he would move his body to throw the man down in a hurricanrana.
