Since he still hadn’t quite memorized the ever-growing list of wrestling moves, Army wasn’t sure what Mitsuru hit him with. Probably some sort DDT, reverse-something, inverted thing with two or three fancy names tied to it. All he knew about it was how much it hurt, how it made his head feel like he’d rammed it into a brick wall, and how it was almost enough to put him down for the three count.

”2…!”

But not quite. Army’s arm shot up in tandem with the referee’s, getting his shoulder up in the nick of time for a narrow escape. He was still out of it, but he had enough presence of mind to pull that off, at least.

Despite her best efforts, strategy could not be overcome by sheer stubborn willpower. After the second count, Army managed to rouse enough energy to throw up a shoulder with Mitsuru still atop him. Not that the task was unreasonable either considering her size and his strength, but to the crowd it seemed quite a feat considering the way the man was looking.

Mitsuru pursed her lips together as she released his legs and swung a boot to the side to get off of him. The run of the mill stunning techniques weren't getting the job done, so perhaps she ought to debut her finisher: God Can't Save the Queen. A fancy name for a simple but effective combination of moves.

Mitsuru rolled Army to his chest and then sat atop his back. It was quite a chore to lift the man's torso up, and then another to get his arms up over her thighs to complete the camel clutch. With him relatively immobilized, Mitsuru ran her fingers through his sweaty head of hair to fix him up, brush any stray strands back out of the way. "You'll want to look good for the cameras, Armando. God Cant Save the Queen, and he cant save you either" she told him, gripping the sides of his face with her hand and tilting his drowsy face up to face the audience. She then completed the finisher by getting a nice and tight sleeper choke round his neck, and from there it was a race against time. Would Army be able to summon what was left in the tank to save himself? Or would Mitsuru's choke cut his escape plan short and send him off to dreamland first?

Army had escaped the count and was still in the fight, but somehow, he couldn’t help but feel like this wasn’t an improvement on his situation. Maybe because he was still having a hard time getting up, or maybe because Mitsuru was still in a prime position to do all sorts of extremely unpleasant things to him. Or maybe, just maybe, because she was flipping him over and pulling him back into what looked like a camel clutch.

But, no, it wasn’t a camel clutch, was it? With that move, you could at least breath. This was much, much worse.

Army let out a pained, wheezing groan as she choked him and wrenched his back further and further in an angle it was never designed to go. There wasn’t much else he could do, really. He couldn’t talk back, couldn’t breathe, couldn’t move. If he’d had even half of his strength, he could’ve made an escape, but the fight had worn down on him quick, and the lack of oxygen was making it worse by the second. He wasn’t getting out of this until Mitsuru let him go, or…

He hated to do it, hated to give in while thousands of fans were screaming around him. But as the drowsiness set in and the pain increased, he decided he wanted to at least be able to walk out of the ring under his own power.

Army tapped. Quick, frenzied pats on her thigh.

Mitsuru clenched her teeth together as she put all she had into squeezing the life from Army's neck. He was clearly suffering in the hold but she didn't know if and how long he could last; He held out long enough in her earlier submission move. Still, even the tallest towering men couldn't overcome basic biology, and a lack of oxygen to the brain will force unconsciousness at some point.

However, luckily for her, Mitsuru didn't have to wait long enough to see that extreme. Army finally gave in after a tough battle and began to tap quite hurriedly on her thigh. Once the referee noticed this, he called for the bell to end the match, and upon hearing that lovely sound, Mitsuru released the choke. She gave his cheek a few patronizing pats before sliding his arms roughly forward and letting him fall as he would.

She stood up at once, smiling, waving, and blowing kisses to the crowd. While looking a bit spent, she didn't have the same bumps, bruises, and discolorations that Army sported, at least none which were visible due to her being covered nearly head to toe in clothing.

"It was just you and me, Armando" Mitsuru smiled as she turned to face Army, hands poised on her hips. "Did it turn out as well as you hoped?"

There was the bell, there was the cheering, there was the match, and there was Army in the middle of the ring, on his chest while Mitsuru paraded around. You would’ve thought a belt was getting handed out, but in a way, she’d taken something far more valuable: his pride. It would be a little while before he could get it back, too.

For now, he just laid on his chest, trying to catch his breath and refill his lungs with much-needed oxygen. He was a sweaty, gasping, heaving wreck on the floor, annihilated in record time, but he still had enough energy to look up at Mitsuru with a flicker of defiance. ”Go fuck yourself.”

Mitsuru's face curved up into a faux-shock at Army's less than hospitable response to her. Placing a hand on her hip, she smirked down at his pitiful looking expression. "And here I thought we were going to be friends when this was all over" she taunted as she stood over his prone form. The arena began to play SEME's theme once more as her teammates emerged from backstage, Ryuu solemn as ever but Hikaru beaming proud and cheering.

Mitsuru turned on her heel and gave her attention back to the crowd, blowing kisses and doing her best to curry new favor. Once her boys were ringside she leaned down to grab her luxurious white coat and slung it fashionably over her shoulder as she made a quick final parade round the ring.

"I do hope your sister is a better catch than you are, from what I can tell, at least she can put up a fight" she called over her shoulder, sneaking one last jab at Army's psyche.
