Signature

Well... finally did it, acted on a very good idea from someone... A signature with all of my characters and it took me probably over 20 minutes... I had to increase the number of links allowed in the signature from the administration control panel... Of course there is overlap with Layne and Gemma currently listed in both Friction and Sex Wars, but that's still 19 characters all in all. @_@

Yeah, you weren't kidding when you said to me before how you have too many characters. I guess you don't really need Billie then @_@

Well, now that we have everything in signatures, it probably doesn't matter, but what we could do is have a subforum for author pages wherein everyone just creates a topic with their own name and links and slight descriptions of all of their characters as a sort of reference card. I know I don't like having my signature on every post as it kinda looks ugly, but it would give us more space to have more links, more effective short descriptions of each character...

Just a suggestion.

Most people didn't take me serious when I said I had too many characters... Don't take me as a good role model for how many characters you should be creating. For a beginner, I'd recommend only 3 and as you progress and play on all board I'd say go up to 10 characters average (like I'm one to talk XP)... Some RPers can handle more, but if you are not careful and you create more characters then you can handle, you run the risk of your characters losing individualism.

Having said that, I still come up with really good ideas for characters and am still looking for an angel/demon/elf to play in the alternative arena... So you still won't have heard the last of me on the characters front.

ps. I'm fairly certain that Mara Bunny will take on the role that Hill Billie was going to do rather then enter Hill Billie as another Friction character

answer to HAwthrone which I forgot last time: Yeah I was thinking of something like that also... might get rid of the practice ring and replace it with a sub forum for that... I'm not sure if it would completely replace signatures (because its really easy to get to a character's bio with one click, rather then have to find the members post before clicking the link to the character...

I was thinking people could also put information that changes regularly there... eg if the character is in a match and a link to the match... If the character is injured... etc.
