Hanayama Momoko vs Caitlin Boyd

Glad that Caitlin accepted her challenge honorably, Momoko braced as they locked up. She found Caitlin a surprisingly strong pusher despite the latter being twenty pounds lighter than her. Now she remembered that cheerleaders, like gymnasts, had strong legs- and Caitlin had very long and strong legs.

The sumo fan grinned. She wasn't as into grappling as Yatori, but she could appreciate a good lock-up. So she put her weight and strength into a forward surge to carry Caitlin into the ropes.

Caitlin wasn't much for these power struggles either, but oddly, she didn't try to pull away or try to trick her into another mood. Instead she clenched her teeth and tried to dig her feet in to try and stop herself from being pushed back and instead try to push her forward instead

Momoko was impressed at her failure to budge Caitlin. "You are very strong, Caitlin-san," she grunted in approval. "However... I will not lose to you..."

The sumo fan knew it was unwise to pour excess effort and energy into a single-minded attack. But Caitlin's resistance had inspired Momoko's fighting spirit. With a sudden battle cry, Momoko would drive forward with all her might, using sumo strength to overpower her cheerleader opponent into the ropes.

It was strange. A couple of minutes ago, she was more than ready to leave this place as soon as her contract was up. She hated this place, everyone in it, and found it just despicable. Yet now, as she struggled with this girl, she felt her competitive nature spark up inside her once more as they struggled to overpower each other.

Caitlin started to smile a little, knowing there was a lot more she could do here, but she was content with just struggling with her opponent, and would even giggle a little as she tried to push her back after she was forced back a few steps, and would try to shove back with everything she had, trying to push herself away from the ropes and back into the center.

"We'll see about that..." She replied.

"Indeed," Momoko breathlessly agreed. They were back in the center of the ring despite her best efforts and earlier surge. The sumo fan was being stymied at what she was supposed to be best at. And she was enjoying it. "Indeed!"

She would aim to hold them steady at the center now. Momoko wondered if Caitlin would still continue this lock-up, or if she would suddenly switch to a strike like so many pro wrestlers in order to get an advantage. She would see soon enough...

Caitlin's arms were starting to wear down once they got to the center. She thought about going for a strike, but decided to at least give some warning first. "S...seems we're pretty much.. evenly matched.." She said, before trying to let go of the hold and step away. If she did, she would start to circle her, watching the sumo girl carefully.

Momoko was content to end their grapple. "Hai," she agreed as she backed away from her opponent. She was smiling heartily, overjoyed. "We are."

She moved closer and closer to the cheerleader with every orbit they took. She could see how intently Caitlin watched her. She wants me to open up... very well.

Momoko let out a loud battle cry to startle Caitlin as she charged in for a barrage of open-handed palm strikes to her opponent's face and chest.

Caitlin was indeed a bit startled at the battle cry, and had to twist her body out of the way to avoid the first palm strike before she tried to move in past her strikes and grab for her head, trying to roll back and monkey flip her across the ring.

Momoko was startled at Caitlin's speed and agility. Suddenly the cheerleader was in her face to grasp her head. Then the sumo fan was flying over her to land on her back, albeit her training allowed her to pull the worst of the impact.

"Gh!" She instantly rolled onto her feet to face whatever new threat Caitlin had in store for her.

Caitlin then rolled forward back to her feet and turned to face Momoko as well, unable to help but smile as she wrestled with this girl. "That was close..." She admitted. "You almost caught me off guard with that cry of yours."
