Kyo Akamatsu vs Yuki Nakamura

Yuki's reactions were lightning-quick as the girl spun, Kyo's booted foot merely grazing her midriff. Catching his balance, Kyo spun, just in time for Yuki's own boot to swipe across his face. "UGH!" he grunted, turning and staggering away from the blow.

Yuki continued her assault, unleashing a devastating spinning kick to Kyo's ribs, knocking him back once more.

Stumbling away as stars danced across his vision, Kyo shook his head, instinctively preparing himself for Yuki's follow up. As the girl launched her spinning kick, Kyo moved in an effort to catch her leg, before trying to counter with a hard clothesline.

Just as Yuki thought she had Kyo on the ropes, he caught her leg. She barely had a moment to register what was happening before Kyo slammed his arm against her in a clothesline. Her body bounced on the mat before she groaned, clutching at her back.

Kyo allowed himself a breath of relief as his retaliation hit home, flooring Yuki. Her strikes were fairly power, and he knew that he would have to wear her down and reduce her striking ability if he was going to win this match. Blinking as he tried to clear the cobwebs from that last hit to the face, Kyo ran forwards and jumped, aiming to nail Yuki with a simple and effective leg drop.

If this landed, then he would be in a prime position for his next move-- to grab Yuki's arm and wrench it tightly between his legs in an armbar.

Yuki's eyes widened as she rolled to the side at the last possible second, avoiding the leg drop. Not skipping a beat, she lashed out with her own foot in retaliation.

Running forwards, Kyo took a running jump...and watched, in mid-jump, as Yuki pushed herself out of his path. "What--" he gasped, just before he hit the mat hard, pain shooting up his tailbone from the impact. He winced, clutching the small of his back as he sat not far from Yuki. This second of vulnerability cost him, as Yuki's leg lashed out, hammering a boot across his face and sending him sprawling onto his back. "AUGH!"

Yuki got up, rushing over and putting Kyo in an armlock, wrenching his arm back while gritting her teeth.

As he rolled on his back, Kyo saw Yuki come down at him. He reacted too late, as she grabbed his arm and started twisting at it. "Nngh!" he grunted, clenching his teeth as he glared up at Yuki. His free hand went to his shoulder as his legs pressed against the mat, arching his body up to ease the pressure. In an instant, he tried kicking his legs up, aiming to snag them around Yuki's silver-haired head and drag her to the mat in a head scissor.

Yuki managed to pull her head away so as to not get caught in the headscissors, but it came at a cost, Kyo's foot slammed into her head, dazing her for a split second and leaving her open to another strike to the head.
