Seraph vs Annelle DeSade (Completed)

Seeing her kick miss, Annelle stepped back a few paces, a smile on her face. Slowly, she raised her arms to signal a test of strength.

Seraph frowned at the offer, pointing to her arm that was hanging limply at her side before trying to run in and throw a hard kick for her stomach.

"You're going down, demon!"

She cried as she ran towards her.

At the same time, Seraph simply smiled as she launched a charge of her own, sending a right hook swinging towards Seraph's face...

The angel's kick hammered home into Annelle's gut, causing her to double over, just as the demon's punch swung towards the angel's face...

Seraph YELPED when she felt her fist strike across her face, knocking her to the side while she was in the air, falling onto her front with a grunt, her body suddenly reverting back to the mind numbing pain it was in, clutching her arms tightly from how badly she was hurting now.

Annelle smiled, taking in Seraph's agony with cruel delight. She eagerly anticipated making Seraph scream some more, breaking her will, and watching as every last bit of defiance in her was completely shattered.

Slowly, Annelle closed her eyes. Slowly, dark light began to play around her hands and eyes, before suddenly dissipating. When Annelle opened her eyes, everything had frozen. The audience was stock still and statuesque, and there was absolutely no sound except for Seraph's belaboured breathing. It was as though time had stopped.

"I've frozen them," she said to Seraph. "For the time being, time has been stopped. That way, none of them will be able to see what we are about to do."

There was a sound of parting flesh, and slowly, Annelle's leathery demon-wings folded out from behind her back and spread out in all of their glory. "Come," she said, "extend your own wings, and cast off your mortal limitations. Let us finish this battle as beings of our stature should."

Seraph looked up to see Annelle had revealed her true form. She slowly got up, closing her eyes before her body started to grow gold. Once the glow faded away, her angelic wings appeared, and most, if not all her wounds were suddenly healed. She reached into her legging, pulling out a small holy dagger that she had tried using before. She stared the demon down, glad to have shed off her mortal handicap.

"You will regret toying with me like this, demon."

She declared to her, suddenly seeming a lot more fierce now that she could show her true form.

Annelle made no reply, smiling at Seraph as she took to the air, zipping upwards until she neared the ceiling of the arena. The demon stared down at the angel, as though daring her to come up and get her...

Seraph saw Annelle flying up towards the ceiling, quickly following behind her, trying to catch up with her and jam her holy blade into her gut if she was quick enough.

Moving in a complete blur, Annelle suddenly flew down, aiming a kick to hit Seraph in the wrist and hopefully knock the blade out of her hand. If she is successful, then Annelle will follow up with an airborne knee to the angel's midsection.

Seraph's blade would bite into Annelle's leg as she tried to kick it away, managing to stab her in the leg just a bit before the weapon fell out of her hands and plummeted down to the ground. She tried to go after it, but was suddenly stopped by Annelle's crushing knee to Seraph's sternum, falling over her knee, cringing in pain before she suddenly tried to lean up and throw an elbow to her face. She was mainly just trying to avoid being humiliated, being caught over her knee like that.
