Silver Ace vs Valley Doll - Under Pressure

Valley shrugged off the knee just in time to see Haley doing...something. It wasn't a move she'd ever seen done before, and she tried her best to keep up with the newer techniques. A flying, flipping, cross body block? An aerial rolling hip thrust? And that was assuming Haley was doing what she meant to do, and it wasn't just a regular move that she messed up. There was no way to really tell.

But whatever it was, it hurt and had more than enough force to knock Valley off her feet and lay her out of on the mat, arms sprawled and legs flailing. Her eyes winced shut from the pain as she laid there, head shaking from side to side. Did not see that one coming.

"What..." She opened her eyes with a few rapid blinks, staring up at the ceiling. "What the heck was that?"

Ace blushed as she pushed herself back up to her feet, Valley questioning what she had just done. In truth, Ace wasn't entirely sure herself, having come up with in on the spur of the moment. It worked though, so naturally she should take credit for it.

"Just something new to kick that tight ass with!"

Ace yelled, taking advantage of Valley being down by moving forward and jumping up, dropping her knee onto Valley's stomach to knock the wind out of her!

Oh, Haley was so full of crap. She had no idea what that was, it was just some random thing she did off the top of her head. It was effective, sure, but there was no way Valley was buying the notion that she'd practiced and planned to use that.

She would have loved to tell her that, too, but she found herself at a loss for breath all of the sudden, likely having something to do with the knee currently embedded in her stomach. Valley let out a long gasp and a quick shriek followed fight after it, as she grabbed her stomach and rolled to the side, clenching her teeth hard to fight the pain. It was a bitter reminder that the first fall had to be by pinfall, and she was currently in the worst possible position.

Ace smirked, having driven the air out of her former lovers lips.

"So I'm still taking your breath away eh?"

She quipped, dropping down and hooking the gasping woman's leg, looking to score an early pinfall!

Oh, God, Vallley had almost forgotten how bad Haley's sense of humor could be sometimes. That last joke was painful, and she just knew it wasn't going to get any better. With any luck she'd be in too much pain to crack wise by the time they made it to the second fall.

It was also an annoying sign that Haley still wasn't taking things too seriously. She would before the first pinfall, though. Absolutely.

"One...!

The referee's hand had barely hit the mat when Valley jerked up and broke the pin. There was just no way she was getting pinned by a move without a name.

"Heh, should've known that wouldn't work..."

Ace said aloud, standing up and grabbing Valley by her hair, pulling her up to her feet while she was still getting her breath back.

"Admit it Val, I beat you fair and square last time, and your just doing this cause you miss me."

Ace said under her breath, taunting her ex before whipping her across the ring towards the turnbuckle.

Don't respond. Don't say anything back. Haley wanted to be taken seriously, and this was the serious treatment.Even if she wasn't completely wrong in what she was saying.

Valley kept up the silence as she was hauled up by the hair - which Haley knew she hated - and sent flying towards the turnbuckle, more than willing to let her waste her breath however she wanted. She turned the last moment and hit the corner with back, grabbing hold of the ropes to keep herself upright as she made the perfect target.

Ace backed up against the opposite corner as Valley hit the turnbuckle as she wanted, the silver haired champ running across the ring towards her, leaping through the air once she got close enough, aiming to crash her body against the larger chested Valley with a Stinger Splash!

"Here I come!"

Valley had her eyes closed, but she didn't need to see Haley coming to know what she was about to do. She felt the rushing footsteps. She heard the crowds roar.  Haley practically announced her approach all along the way. Oh, she had no idea exactly what Haley would do, but there were only so many moves that would fit the bill, and she knew how to deal with all of them.

Valley moved. Just rolled out of the way and let Haley's momentum do the rest.

"Crapbaskets"

Ace thought, before she crashed into the empty turnbuckle, hitting it with enough force that she rebounded off of it, hitting the mat on her back and rolling onto her front.

Groaning and gasping from having the wind knocked out of her, Ace rolled on the mat, eyes wide, trying to catch her breath.
