AV 14 Entropy Title Match: Silver Ace (C) Vs. Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt

While Haley may have mocked her conviction, for the heiress they were nothing less than the gospel truth. As demeaning it would be for the posh aristocrat, she had no reservations over crawling up those metal steps if it meant claiming her rightful prize. Though at the moment even crawling was starting to become a lofty prospect.

Gwen’s tugging at the ankle would prove fruitless, only inciting Ace to wrench in the sharpshooter and push Gwen’s flexible body to its utmost limits. A thin sheen of sweat gleamed off of her shivering body wracked with pain, now curved into a perfect “C” shape normally only capable of contortionists and those who spent their life prepping their body to be limber enough for such positions. Some members of the audience would flinch at the unsightly image, while the dirtier minded had other thoughts upon witnessing the lengths to which Gwen could bend her body...

"AAAHH!!" The heiress wailed in agony with her cheek compressed against the mat, the crippling pressure on her pretzeled, flexing legs and arching lower back leaving Gwen completely immobilized beneath Haley. Her four member entourage in the farthest corner of the ring slammed their hands against mat and cheered their benevolent employer on, but with the ropes no longer an option due to the no DQ stipulation, Gwen’s only recourse was to blindly flail her arms behind her to scratch at and tap Haley’s sides in desperation for any shred of relief.

"Blasted WRETCH!!!!"

Ace couldn't resist a smirk as Gwen yelled. After at the times she had been locked in a painful submission hold, begging to be let go, it felt amazing to finally have a painful hold locked in on somebody and know they couldn't do anything about it. No wonder everybody she fought tried to snap her in half with a hold, it was a hell of a power trip.

Finally though, she let go, releasing Gwen from the painful hold and letting her body straighten as she stood up, smirking as she looked down at the blonde.

"Woah, heavy insult there, you kiss your mother with that mouth?"

She teased, looking over at Gwen's entourage, kinda wishing she had to be in her corner and cheer her on. Brushing the thought aside, Ace hopped out of the ring and went to the entrance ramp, grabbing one of the shorter 8 foot ladders stacked there, and starting to carry it back to the ring. It was nice making Gwen scream, but she had to focus on what was important. Get the ladder, grab the shiny, and get the win. That's what was important.

The relief was instantaneous the second Haley eased off the sharpshooter and allowed Gwendolyn’s limp lower half to tumble down to mat. Gwen hid her cringing face beneath her golden curls as the lingering remnants of the submission still left her an aching mess. In one fell submission Ace had left Gwen deflated and in dire need of some time to recoup, thankfully granted by her silver haired opponent as she would leave her to procure the instrument of victory in this match.

The condescending smirk from Haley would go unnoticed by the downtrodden heiress, though the heiress did pause from overhearing Haley’s sarcastic remark, something sticking out in her mind as she slowly turn her head with dilated pupils to watch Haley stride away...

While Ace folded and hoisted the ladder without any issue, once she approached she would feel a tugging sensation on the other end, two of Gwen’s trainers holding the other side and yanking it in the opposite direction to give the heiress even more time to collect herself and recover from the back-bending submission!!

"What the hell...?"


Ace felt a tugging on the ladder, preventing her from getting it into the ring, turning to find two of Gwen's entourage pulling it back. Glaring at them, Ace pulled harder on the ladder, trying to yank it out of their grip. That obviously failed, so she finally pushed the ladder back towards them, intending to knock them over with it.

"Get out of here!"

She yelled, now pissed off that Gwen had brought such a large number of followers with her. It was irritating, an unwelcome distraction in a match where distractions couldn't be afforded.

What her posse of hopelessly devoted lackeys lacked in terms of strength they made for in superb timing and utter devotion to their glorious employer, recognizing an opportunity to buy Gwendolyn even more time to get back on her feet. As easily as the heiress could have instructed them to outright pounce on Haley, even Gwendolyn was aware of the ludicrousness of having her team directly thrash the champion. Oh...not that such an action even in a no DQ match is a distinctly new low, more like it was a more cunning move to keep their involvements small and at a minimal for fear of having them get thrown out by the ref.

Her other two minions could be found slapping the ringside canvas and encouraging the haughty beneficiary out of her slump. It took some time but Gwen eventually lurched upward with a massaging hand on her lower back. The numbing pain briefly kept her from standing straight, slouching forward with a wincing expression from a submission that would have left less limber wrestlers completely hobbled.

She glared to her side to notice her entourage members getting bowled over from the ladder tug of war. Soon after Haley regained control, Gwendolyn would rush towards the momentarily distracted Canadian, though not with as much as speed as she would have hoped, and aim a baseball slide kick beneath the bottom rope to the ladder she held against her chest and hopefully catch Haley unawares.

Ace smirked, having just taken down two of Gwen's cronies. She could have asked the referee to kick them out probably, but decided against it. After all, once she beat Gwen, even with her entourage helping, she'd come out looking even more like a champion.

Holding the ladder up, Ace turned, intending to slide the ladder into the ring. Her opponent had other plans however, drop kicking the ladder right back into Ace's chest, knocking the champ onto her back, the released ladder rolling over her and settling behind her head, while Ace rubbed her chest and groaned.

With the ladder flying overhead and Ace’s collapse to the padded mat clutching her chest came a wave of boos from the audience once they started understanding the stacked odds in Gwen’s favor. Soon after the kick connected Gwen took little time to revel in her turnaround, approaching Ace with a malicious glare and a quick message to deliver before continuing with the formality that was this match.

Arching down to dig both her hands into practically to the roots of Ace’s scalp, the heiress would viciously yank her up to her feet. However she kept Ace’s upper torso bent low so her head was no higher than Gwen’s waist, appearing as if Ace was humbly bowing before the heiress.

“Fair warning for now Haley, but in the future....never speak of my mother again…” There was a distinct undertone of malice at that last statement, her dignified voice devolving to a guttural growl to match the stone cold grimace on her face. Ace wouldn’t have much time to ponder this, as Gwen would grasp the back of Ace’s skirted outfit with one hand and break into a sprint to propel Haley head first into the steel steps!!

Ace didn't fully get to understand what Gwen was saying, still trying to recover from getting a ladder kicked into her chest, when she found herself moving fast, suddenly smashing hard into the steel steps as Gwen launched her into them, Haley's body knocking the top step over, laying on the bottom one, left groaning and rolling off the step onto the protective mat below.

"Ugghhh...."

She let out, a half groan, half whimper, the champ trying to clear her head and push herself back to her feet, dazed by the impact of head meeting steel.

Gwendolyn hardly gave Haley another look after the collision with the steel steps, instead daintily skipping towards the ring apron and taking a seat along the edge while crossing her legs. Striking a nonchalant, carefree pose, Gwen placed the tip of her index finger and thumb in her mouth to illicit a high pitched whistle.

On cue and without a moment’s hesitation, the two still upright members of her entourage would recognize the signal and rush to pick up the ladder Ace fumbled. They hefted it on their shoulders with a grunt and slid it under the bottom ropes next to the heiress, who was taking this moment to relax and carefully examine her fingernails with a smug smile on her face.

“Do try to keep up Haley. Fall too far behind in the race and you’ll never catch up~…” Rolling back into the ring herself, Gwen would follow the ladder iside and attempt to at least lift and set it up.

Her head mostly clearing, Ace rubbed a hand against her face, checking for blood before rolling back into the ring. That was sloppy, taking her eye of Gwendolyn like that. Anybody she knew, Taylor, Valley, anybody, would have given her no end of grief if she had made that mistake against them, and would have punished her a lot harder for it as well.

Getting up in the ring, Ace didn't waste time, charging forward and leaping to smash her shoulder into the ladder from its opposite side, looking to smash it against Gwen as she was setting it up!
