Eka Guramishvili vs. Shiki

Eka's muscles strained with effort. It was far from a comfortable position for Eka, and Eka imagined it was far worse for the girl on the bottom. The cheers from the crowd were beginning to reach a fever pitch. Shiki was struggling against the hold and Eka ensured that it was locked in as securely and painfully as she could.

"Tap! Tap damn you!" Eka pulled with her legs and her arms as hard as she could. How on Earth was this woman still holding out? Eka grunted and held on as tightly as she could. The woman was in danger of having a bone snapped or a muscle pulled. Eka wasn't going to let her off the hook. She gritted her teeth and held her as tightly as she could as a few Georgian curses escaped through the tightly shut teeth.

There was no escape except for defeat for this woman. She had to see that. No matter how pervicacious she was, she had to see it. Eka winced under the titanic struggle she was in. "Tap!" Eka hoped the hold was enough to secure a victory. She didn't have much more left in the tank should she fail now.

Unfortunately for Shiki, anger and brazen stubbornness would only get you so far.

The trapped punkette had struggled furiously and with no small amount of effort. A fresh sheen of perspiration gleamed along the fair skin of her painfully stretched body as a result. Shiki audibly gasped for air as her exertion had nearly taken everything she currently had. And for what? She had gotten nowhere fast. The thought stung especially hard against the rockstar's rather inflated ego. She wanted to punch and kick... and any number of other equally destructive things! But the defeated punkette simply had nothing left--unless scrunching her face up in pain, sweating all over the place, and gasping for air was somehow going to break her out of this vicious hold, she was screwed.

Despite it all, Shiki would hold out to the bitter end before her trembling hand finally came to slap the mat sharply. The referee quickly sprang to life before signalling for the bell. The gesture seemed to spend whatever last bit of energy Shiki still possessed as her body slowly sagged in Eka's grasp.

Eka fell down on top of Shiki and rolled off. The bell rung and the ref waved her off of Shiki and Eka happily complied. Her first win! It was so sweet...except for the fact that Eka had to cheat to get it. Hitting her opponent with brass knuckles was dishonorable and felt dirty. Hell, it was dirty. Eka frowned as the referee held her hand aloft. She gave a smile and wave to the fans to keep up the appearance that she was happy. Part of her did feel good.

Eka looked down at her opponent. She was used to saying good match but something held her back. It wasn't a good match on either of their parts as the gentle sting in her eyes attested. She tried to wipe any glitter out. The ref girl let her hand down and she sighed. If she never saw this woman again in the ring, she would be ok with that. But she wanted a win, a fair win, and hoped she might get the opportunity one day. There was no sense in chiding her opponent in her unfair ways as that seemed to be fruitless.

"Are you ok?" She finally produced. She wanted to care to reach out a bit but her voice was timorous. There was never any desire to injure anyone. That would be a line she never wanted to cross.

Physically and mentally exhausted, Shiki remained face down on the mat for the duration of Eka's rather composed celebration. If absolutely nothing else Shiki felt relieved to finally be untangled with the Georgian. The haze already began to lift from her head but the punk rocker simply lacked the motivation to even attempt to move, she was content quietly wallowing in defeat from her sprawled position along the mat. She didn't even want to think about what the bruise on her chest looked like right now.
Eka's timid words, however, came as an odd surprise to the floored punkette. Well, this was certainly awkward.

"... Doing great. Thanks."

The breathless response lacked the punkette's usual bite but the sarcasm was certainly still there. Finally, the raven-haired girl would rouse gingerly from the mat, bringing her green eyes to meet Eka's gaze once more. Just what the hell was this, anyway? Perhaps, she expected some kind of apology? Did she want them to both shake hands and then prance off merrily into the sunset together? This god damn kid...

Surprisingly, the raven-haired girl kept her verbal lashing to herself this time. Her attention instead seem to focus on Hazel--the brass knuckles laid dangerously close to the edge of the ring where Eka had discarded them. Shamelessly, the punkette made her way over to the weapon before scooping it up easily into her hand. Shiki would then momentarily turn back to gaze at Eka from the corner of her eyes.    

"Look, if you expect me to sign a CD, or whatever, you can go screw yourself, alright?..."

Not even waiting for a response, Shiki slipped in between the ropes before hopping down--albeit sorely--out of the ring. Despite the cries of a few supportive fans, the rockstar wasted little time making her exit the from the arena.

Eka wasn't quite sure what to make of the girl's rough and sarcastic reply. She didn't really know what she meant by talking about signing a CD. The ref looked at her and she shrugged. There was a slight expectation that the woman would lash out and try to hit her, but it looks like Eka didn't have to deal with that. The woman scooped up the contemptible weapon and left the arena.

Eka took that as her cue to leave the ring as well. She waved towards the fans and blew a kiss as she walked up the ramp. They gave her an energy which kept her going throughout the match. Eka stopped at the top of the ramp and looked back wistfully. She had won. She had to cheat, just a little bit, to come away with a victory but she had won, dammit, and that was worth something. She raised her fist in the air and let out a "Woooo!" which the crowd was more than happy to give right back to her.

Eka disappeared into the backstage area and sat on a bench in the locker room. It wasn't a big step, but she was headed in the right direction.

Eka wins via submission.
