Locker Room - Questions (COMPLETE)

Masato gaped. He had totally not expected that! "H-Haruka!" he began.

Haruka was too busy concentrating on Cerbera. She ducked the blind punch and then stepped right into her opponent to jab Cerbera's ribs repeatedly before finishing with an uppercut to Cerbera's jaw and a "Raaahh!"

Cerbera felt that her punch was just hitting air, then yelping out painfully as she was punched repeatedly on the ribs, taking a few steps back, cluthing her side before she was hit square in the chin, stumbling back and falling onto her rear, coughing out.

Asteria slowly stared at the two, whispering something to herself, she didn't know what to do.

Haruka seemed to tower over the bigger, fallen Cerbera. Her jade pupils glowed with uncharacteristic angry fire. "If you want a fight," she spat, "I'll give you a fight! Come at me any time you want! Right here and right now, or tomorrow elsewhere, or any day you choose, wherever you want, however you want! I'll fight you!"

There were tears at the corner of her eyes, tears of anger. "I'll make you realize you are wrong! You hear me! I'm going to show you how much I care for you by bringing you back to your senses even if I have to knock you out over and over again!" she vowed.

Masato grasped her shoulder. "That's enough, Haruka," he managed.

"No," and she saddened, "It isn't. Not yet. Not yet."

Cerbera stared up at Haruka, blinking a few times before quickly leaning up and trying to send a fierce uppercut towards Haruka's chin, hoping it was a unexpected move towards the saddened Haruka.

Asteria slowly started to get up, walking towards the three once more.

Masato spotted Cerbera's recovery. Haruka was still out of it. "Haruka!"

He shoved his ward out of the way- and took Cerbera's blow to his jaw! Masato's eyes rolled up to show their whites. He toppled backwards like an axed tree and lay still like a corpse.

Haruka, having fallen to the floor because of Masato's push, stared in horror. "Masato-kun!" she screamed.

Cerbera stood back up straight, staring down at Masato. She was a little confused why Masato would do that for Haruka, tilting her head to the side and looked down at him in question, knowing he was down for the count.

Cerbera then focussed on Haruka, smirking.

" Wow, a Manager that does do something.. "

Asteria stopped and watced the scene once more, not sure what to do next.

Haruka threw herself onto Masato very protectively. "Masato! Masato!" She glared at Cerbera while cradling her KO'd manager's head in her arms, his cheek against her chest. She remained sitting on the floor while doing so. "How could you hit him? He's your friend, too! And he can't fight! You know that!"

" Tahahaha! He's a victim of war.. So what, he should've known what he got himself into. "

Cerbera flashed a grin down at Haruka before deciding to walk past and away from them.

" This was boring. Let's go, Asteria. "

Asteria looked up quickly, nodding.

" Yes, Cerbera. "

Asteria quickly walked after Cerbera but with the girl's back turned, she looked down sadly at Haruka and mouthed the word ' Sorry ' at her.

Haruka seethed at the departing Cerbera. Her rage was such that even Asteria's apology couldn't cool her temper. She could only hug Masato to her quietly.

Cerbera... how could you...

Cerbera turned her head to look over her shoulder at her, stopping near her.

" All is fair in love and war, I thought you understood that by now. Maybe this cleared that thought in your mind that said that we were friends. "

With that Cerbera proceeded to leave the two there, Asteria following her but much slower, brushing her hand down upon Masato's head, muttering something out in a enchanting way, as if she was trying to force Masato back into a consious state. The only luck she had that Cerbera did not see it.
