Eliza Harenwood vs Alan Smith.

"Here I go again." Eliza muttered to herself, looking herself over in the mirror one last time. Dressed in her usual attire of a red ballroom gown, her wrestling attire concealed underneath it.



Quite recently things hadn't been going so well for Ms Harenwood, her only win on her record was a DQ against a couple of thugs. Although the other people she met in the ring were quite nice people, Lia Harrison and the Red Knight. But of course her ex was also here, the dashing and charismatic young man known as Ryan Knight.

It also seemed she'd been rather popular as of late, perhaps it was because she added "A touch of class" to the tension roster. She also received praise from people for her interesting fighting style, using dance moves as her main offense.

She walked towards the entrance ramp, hands held together at the front of her dress. Once the theme song of Eliza [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWsICxqgt5w:12fjfei9]The Venice violins.[/url:12fjfei9] began to play she made her way out to the arena.

The young lady earned several cheers from the crowd, she smiled and politely waved to them as she walked down the ramp. Going over to the steps Eliza elegantly made her way up them and through the ropes.
Ms Harenwood performed a curtsey to the fans before removing her dress, revealing her wrestling attire. A large red leather corset with black stockings, she then hung her dress on the iron post of the nearest turnbuckle.

Eliza would then stand composed as she looked at the entrance ramp, her hands neatly folded as she awaited to see who she was facing tonight.

Alan was focused and ready to fight. This was his debut match in the AFW and he was not about to lose. He was seen in his training fatigues as he shadow boxed his way toward the right, the only sounds coming from him being the small grunts from throwing punches. His music pumped up the crowd, enticing a few cheers from them.



He hopped over the top rope after climbing up the apron, landing onto the mat softly, throwing a few practice kicks as well as punches afterward. He removed his fatigues and hung them onto the turnbuckle of his corner of the ring. He held up an arm, hand balled into a fist, enticing a few more cheers from the crowd.



He then looked over at his opponent.....and was greatly surprised. He thought his first opponent would be male....He shook this thought from his head. He still had no reason to underestimate her. Even the smallest of opponents could prove to be a challenge. He moved to the center of the ring, and decided to be polite, and held out a hand. "Alan." He said, plain and simple. "Good luck. And don't hold anything back."

Eliza was quiet as she sized up who she was going up against tonight, it seemed like it was a bit of a doozy in store for her. The guy was big, just a bit taller than her ex. Also he looked like he knew what he was doing, dressed for battle to be sure.

And then when he walked up to her and introduced himself, Eliza found herself blinking twice. She didn't expect that to be honest, heck she was half expecting him to start throwing fists out. But it was nice, maybe tension wasn't so bad after all. She could certainly grant him the courtesy of handshaking sure.

"Eliza Harenwood, and I shall perform to my best fear not." she assured the man named Alan.

With that she'd begin performing some light stretching of her legs, combined with putting one of her legs on the middle rope like a ballet rail. When the bell rang to start the match off Eliza would come out exploding, starting with a swift pirouette across the ring. She was hoping to catch Alan off guard with an odd move like that in the hopes of delivering a kick to the kneecaps.

Alan could tell she was confident, despite the fact she was much smaller than he was. He liked that. He nodded once after she said she would perform to her best. He began doing some last minute stretches before the bell rang, going to his corner, squatting down and pulling on the top ropes. When the bell rang, he readied himself into an offensive position.

But he had to blink twice, as the girl came rushing at him using what looked like...a pirouette. A dance move?! 'How unorthodox.....' He thought, but his train of thought was soon shattered, as she dealt a swift kick to his knees that he didn't even see. He grunted slightly in pain when her foot connected, falling down to his knees. "What speed..." He muttered, complimenting her a bit. "But I'm fast too!" He said, right after sending a quick shot to her gut while on his knees, hoping that the success of her attack to his knees left her open.

Eliza was successful in getting that hit in to the knees, getting the first hit was important in her book. To try and set the pace of the match, that was key to her strategy after all. But it seemed like Alan had other plans, cutting the young lady off with a hit to the gut.

"Arg!" Eliza sharply yelped out, staggering and falling on her backside. Ms Harenwood quickly performed a backwards roll to get some distance from Mr Smith. She lightly shook her head as she stood in a crouching posture.

The ballroom girl stood back up, Alan caught her off guard there. She couldn't afford to make many mistakes, so now she started bouncing up and down on her feet. Testing the waters now, Eliza would edge close to Alan to see what would happen.

Alan was lucky enough to land a shot at her stomach while she was open. He used the time she spent staggering to get back up on his feet, hopping up and down regaining his composure.

'She has a lot of energy for one so small...' He thought to himself.

He would have to wear her down if he wanted to win. He saw her edging close to her.....he lunged forward, and attempted to wrap his arms around her waist. If he was successful, he would hoist her into the air, executing a bearhug, squeezing her waist, constricting the energy and air out of her, if she wasn't able to wiggle out of his embrace of course.

Eliza was expecting Alan to get close to her, to perform an attack with his fists. But she was caught off guard when he moved in for a bearhug, Eliza wasn't expecting that and so was trapped in the move..

"Ngh!" the ballroom girl grunted out, this was something she preferred to avoid. And she knew it was important not to get stuck in this hold for too long, otherwise it's sap her energy.

So with that in mind Eliza was still fresh and so could counter this, and so she shall. Ms Harenwood would attempt to get her arms free and wrap one around the neck of Alan, using her other arm to deliver blows to his back till he let go.

Eliza would then roll backwards after escaping and stand back up, she couldn't afford much room for error. If this were to go to the so called "Tenth round." then Eliza could gas out.

Alan thought he had caughther off guard, and proceeded to squeeze harder, but before he could, she managed to get him in a headlock with one arm, using another to pound on his back. After two blows, he let go, and staggered back a bit.

He took this time to stretch out the muscles in his back, not taking his eyes off of her. "You're more resilient than you look." He complimented her, with a small smirk.

"To compete in the ballrooms of England requires skill and practice, you seem to know what you are doing." Eliza stated to Alan as she stood up, taking the time to quickly stretch her legs.

It was true, Alan did seem to be quite skilled in combat. She had at first assumed him to be some karate chopping obsessed nut, but it seemed there was more to it than that. Eliza had a feeling she'd probably end up losing this, but it'd be a good loss at that.

Eliza decided to fire out some more offense, she could deliver some fantastic damage if she could get the chance. Ms Harenwood rushed past Alan, leaping off the ropes and performing an elegant backflip off them. She hoped to confuse Alan with this and as he turned around, Eliza would hope to deck him in the chin with a superkick.

Alan chuckled slightly at her comment about competing in the ballrooms. "It seems you learned more than just how to dance." He readied himself into an offensive stance, as it appeared she was rushing him. However, he was surprised to see that she had ran right past him.

He quickly turned around, only to be greeted by the soles of her shoes as her feet collided with his chin. "MMFARGH!" He uttered as he staggered backwards, loosing his footing. But before he fell onto his back, he attempted to grab her legs while she was still in the air, hoping to bring her down with him.
