Cast a wide enough net, and you will always catch fish. Throw enough kicks, and you will always hit something important.

There wasn't an ounce of skill in her form, and she didn't need it; from the sound of the blow landed and the sumo fall back once again, the strike was more than effective. That had been close, however. Lore certainly wanted to spend as little time as possible in her grasp. She was strong, and more importantly, heavy - even if Lore was completely fresh, she doubted she could buck the heavier woman off for a pin. All the more reason to not even give an inch.

She spun around and pounced on the sumo, trying to grab her hair with one hand while she started raining blows with the other - getting in close range and hoping she could overwhelm the girl with sheer ferocity, screaming with every blow, hair flipping about.

<Owww,> Miyabi whined, rubbing at her jaw and trying to soothe the pain. She had taken her fair share of licks during her training sessions with Akashi, but she was still not used to this sort of pain. She had only ever had one real fight in her life, and that had been five years ago. The memories of the pain from that fight had dimmed considerably over the intervening years.

Miyabi would begin to push herself up off of the mat, but her quick little opponent managed to get to her before she could get back up onto her feet. The girl entangled one hand in Miyabi’️s hair, while with the other she would rain down punch after punch on Miyabi’️s face. The first couple landed hard, eliciting screams from Miyabi as her pretty features were bludgeoned. After that, the sumo girl would manage to get her arms up to deflect most of the blows, but she knew she was in a bad spot…

This was more like it. The first two punches landed well, and even though her fulsome foe managed to blocked the rest of them, it was still satisfying - her defenses were impressive, but enough blows would tear the strongest wall down - time and effort were the only two factors. The screams were confirmation enough that the sumo couldn't late forever.

Lore let go and jumped up, kicking her legs up and slamming both her heels into the sumo's defenses with enough power to send her flipping away.

Miyabi swayed back and forth slightly under the weight of the ferocious assault, but she managed to ward off any further devastating blows with her forearms. The German girl’️s punches bounced off of her arms, having little effect. It gave Miyabi a few seconds to contemplate her position and to try to plan how she would reverse her fortunes once again. Unfortunately, she didn’️t have too many ideas. Her training with Akashi hadn’️t really progressed to the point where the veteran sumo taught her about effectively fighting one’️s way out of this kind of tricky situation.

Miyabi would put those thoughts aside for the time being as the punches stopped falling. But the smaller fighter wasn’️t easing up on her. Miyabi was suddenly hit by a power, two-footed flying sort of stomp, which rattled her and sent her tumbling. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her opponent flip away easily. The girl was so agile, and that spelled trouble for the sumo wrestler…but if she could just pin the girl down, she would have her.

<Damn…come on…> Miyabi admonished herself, getting her hands and feet under her and trying to lift herself back up into a standing position. She was a little dizzy from that last blow, but she was far from finished. She could still take plenty more punishment. She hoped she could, anyway.

The double stomp connected and knocked the massive woman down on her back once again, as Lore went flying away, twisting in the air and backflipping. She came to a sliding stop, digging her nails in the floor to slow down her mometum, feeling like control was firmly in her grasp. Bit by bit, little by little, the match was starting to wear away on her towering foe - if she could keep the pressure on, victory would be all hers for the taking.

As the sumo back up on shaky feet, Lore started to approach her, slower this time, crawling along on all fours and staying low, snarling and sending out the occasional bark to rattle her, trying to strike as much fear into the girl as possible. Without a single hint, she suddenly burst forward and fell on her back, sliding towards the bigger woman and shooting out her foot, aiming the kick at her knee - you chop down a tree by striking the trunk, after all.

Miyabi just had to get back on track. She had a very distinct advantage in this match, and even if she wasn’️t very skilled at fighting, and her opponent was, her size and endurance advantage counted for just as much as her opponent’️s edge in experience. She was going to win this battle! She had to, for the honor of her sensei and her country.

Miyabi stabilized herself on her feet. She was ready to keep going. She turned back in the direction of her opponent. The girl had not stood back up, and it didn’️t look like she intended to. She was crawling forward on all fours, approaching Miyabi like some sort of wild animal. The sumo’️s face scrunched up in confusion. But she was a little bit warier of her opponent this time. The girl was a kicker. Miyabi took a step back, then, as soon as she saw her foe lunge forward, she would hop another foot or two back, narrowly escaping the kick to her knee that would have brought her down.

<I can kick, too, you know!> Miyabi said in Japanese, launching her foot forward to try to kick the girl somewhere around her shoulders or chest.

The kick would have been perfect - all she would need to bring the prey down. Such ponderous bulk had to give her upper body tremendous stress; even a little crack in the structure would send her flailing and falling to the ground. From there, Lore could take her apart as she wished, move in for the killing...finishing blows and bring the match to a quick close.

If the kick connected. It didn't.

The sumo was markedly more agile than Lore could have possibly guessed - her little hop back avoided the kick, put her just out of range and left Lore swinging at air, leaving herself wide open - and the gap was quickly killed by her prey's considerable bulk. She launched a kick of her own and the blow slammed into Lore's chest, sending her rolling away several feet before she came to a stop, nearly falling out of the ring. She laid there, groaning and trying to push herself up, her whole chest aflame.

Had to get up. Had to move. She only had, at most, a few seconds before-

Miyabi was big, but she had a certain spring in her step. She did a lot of running around. She ingested so many calories that she remained chubby, but she could still move her big behind when she had to, and right now, she had to. That kick would have hurt like heck and almost certainly would have taken her down to the mat. Miyabi was glad she had managed to make it miss. Now it was her turn again.

Her own kick didn’️t miss. It slammed into the German girl’️s chest and sent the girl rolling for several feet. She only came to a stop under the ropes, right before she would have fallen out of the ring. Miyabi followed her opponent, not going too quickly, just in case the girl was getting ready to spring up and surprise her. It seemed like the smaller fighter wasn’️t going to do that, however. Now Miyabi had another chance to turn the tide in her favor. She was going to seize it! She would fall down onto her knees and then grab her opponent, trying to haul her up and tangle her in the ropes so that she could really be worked over properly!

Lore, as it turned out, was not about to spring any sort of trap. Unless vomiting on the sumo counted as a trap.

If she hadn't been in such amazing pain, Lore might have been impressed - the sumo was as big as a baby bear, but she kicked like a full-grown horse. She tried to push herself up, almost got there, almost...then fell back down again, as her prey turned the tables - it was time for Lore to be the hunted one.

She didn't see the sumo kneel beside her, but she felt it, and she certainly felt her loathsome hands as they took hold and lifted her up with insulting each. Before Lore could even put up a struggle, she was snared - tangled in the ropes, her arms caught between them, captured like her brothers had been so many times, and she acted just as they did the same situation. Snarling, squirming, screaming, gnashing her teeth at the sumo when dared to get close. The referee moved in close, keeping an eye on her, as the teeth bared and flashed.

Miyabi managed to pick the smaller girl up with relative ease and, with very little ceremony, would entangle the girl in the ropes, weaving her arms inside one rope and outside the next, doing much the same with her body, trying to immobilize the girl and make it impossible to escape. Miyabi knew that the German would probably be able to free herself with even a moderate amount of struggling, but she was sure she had a small window in which to break out one of her favorite moves.

She turned around, directing her wide rear end to the smaller girl. Miyabi intended to push her ass right up into the girl’️s face, stinkfacing her and smothering her. It would be humiliating, to be sure, and the girl might lose her will to fight back—although, based on what she had already seen, Miyabi figured that the German girl would probably fight on if she managed to remain conscious and escape.

The sumo slapped her own butt with both hands, showing off a little, making her opponent take in the sight of the large, fleshy cushion jiggling. She took a big step back, and brought her ass to within a few inches of the girl’️s face—but she hesitated when her opponent started screaming and gnashing her teeth. Getting bit on the butt would not be very pleasant. Turning around, Miyabi would raise her hand up high, let it hang there for a moment, and then bring it back down towards her foe’️s face, hoping that she could land another hard slap, stunning the girl for long enough to stinkface her without fear of being bitten.
