Blossom knew it - sooner or later, she was going to have to do a hardcore match.

Well, okay, this wasn't a real hardcore match, true - just no disqualification and falls count anywhere, with a side of hentai. But still, even that was a big step up from the standard and hentai matches she'd done so far - no rules, the ref was basically just there to do the count. Just her and her opponent, anything goes.

Yikes.

Blossom wasn't a brawler - she'd wrestled plenty, sure, but wrestling was a lot different from straight fighting. Her strategy was going to be simple - keep it in the ring at all costs. Make it about skill and not about the outside. Don't let her opponent take her on unfamiliar ground. Stick to the basics, watch out for the hentai, go for the pinfall and wrapped it up, ASAP and pronto. Easy. Simple...right? Right.

She takes a deep sigh as her music starts, and she bursts out of the curtain, skipping all the way to the ring - rules or not, she wasn't going to keep the match from giving her audience the smiles they were coming to expect from her. She could see some of her own concern mirrored on their faces, but she didn't reflect a bit of it back, as she slid into the ring and pumped her fist high in the air.

"Showtime!"

She spun around and hopped back to her corner, doing some stretches on the rope while she waited for her opponent to strut her way out, and hoping she was just as inexperienced with this as she herself was...but knowing that probably wouldn't be the case.

Heralded the arrival of Anja the Raven. A score of red, raven shaped lights were flickering over the audience who sat in darkness else wise. One after one of them vanished until only a single one remained to illuminate her way to the ring while the rest of the hall remained pitch black. Her titantron showed a flock of crows, perching and screaming while two little girls held hands and ran through a deserted park with autumn colored leaves falling around them. She entered one of the turnbuckles, one foot on the top rope and the other on the second rope and stared at her titantron until the music went silent, not really giving a shit about the audience or her opponent until the hall was illuminated again, but then her gaze fell upon the other girl in a taxing manner.

Her opponent today was probably a rather new girl as Anja had never heard from her, but it was not the style of Anja to give any quarter in a wrestling ring for whatever reasons. Anja could not care less about any audience reactions and received mixed reactions as always after her entrance was over, but wanted to earn the money that she was being paid from AFW in a good, no, an instant classic match.

Sheesh, that was the AFW all over. Never a dull moment.

Blossom watched the entire spectacle, not really sure what to make of it, or her opponent. She seemed serious - more serious than the opponents Blossom had faced before. Death Bunny was tough as nails, but she was pudding underneath. Blossom got the feeling this girl was just nails the whole way through - given the nature of the match, it wasn't all that surprising, but still.

"Uuuuuuh hi, up there." Blossom waved and walked over, managing a weak smile as she looked up at Anja. "Ms. Raven, right? I'm Blossom, nice meeting you - liked the entrance, by the way. Real spiffy."

"Miss Raven?"
Anja chuckled and cheered up a little bit, nobody had called her that way before.

"It`s a nickname, sweets. But someone as cute as you can call me anything you want."
The girl was not exactly a giant, and Anja excepted her to be a high flyer of some sorts. She already was in the process of using a little bit of psychology on her opponent, slowly walking around her opponent to look at what she would be facing.
"Say, Blossom, how many hardcore matches with a special clause have you done yet?"
She asked, smirking a little while her voice returned to a casual tone.

"Hold up, let me think about it for a second." She rubbed her chin, licked her lips, rolled her eyes to the ceiling as she pretended to ponder for a moment. "Let's see...if we count that time...and that time...exactly...zero, yeah."

She shrugged and started moving around as Anja circled her, keeping the two of them facing each other as she turned. "What about you?"

At least Anja could break a little smile off - she seemed to be lighthearted about the whole thing, which was good. No need to get too serious.

Anyone who would casually meet Anja Mueller on the street would probably picture her as a girl that did not give many fucks for anything. Moody, brooding, silent but polite if addressed. And indeed, an unknown opponent was usually just a number for her, but this girl had a very friendly nature as it seemed.

„Here in AFW, uhm, three.“
She answered, striking a sexy pose with a hand on her hip to see how serious the other girl took the hentai aspect.
„I guess you will hear enough trash talking shit in this matches so I don't have to start it right here. But let me still tell you that I am about to show you some tricks of the trade tonight. “

But then she got serious, a match was about to begin. She would raise her arms for a test of strength, looking for the tactics of her opponent.

"Then this'll be a good match, then! Just be sure to give me a few minutes to take notes, here and there - want to make sure I get your 'tricks of the trade' down."

She winked and moved in, accepting the test of strength. She'll hold back some of her power, making it seem like they're about even...then pour it on, full blast, applying her full force and trying to push Anja towards the turnbuckle.

"Hooah!"

Anja was a little surprised that her relatively small opponent, even if she was no giant herself by any meaning, took the test of strength. But then she was new and probably could not really see what she was all about in this kind of actions. Her first revelation was that her opponent had indeed already found a way to play with her when she first scaled down and then hammered Anja into the turnbuckle by showing her real power to the surprised Blonde.
„UH!“
She yelled when she hit the corner backwards, with a surprised and probably dumb folded look on her face.

"I may be sweet, but I've got a little sour in me, too!"

Blossom drilled her into the corner and intended to keep her there as long as possible - surprising people was a good way to run off with some early moment, she was finding. While Anja is pressed against the turnbuckle, Blossom will pull off, hop up, and swing her arm out in a wide arc, hitting Anja with a Ric Flair styled chop to the chest, and even accompanying it with a requisite "Woooo!"

Anja was hanging in the turnbuckle, with her hair falling a little in her face to hide a mischievous smile and an aching pain in the back in the form of three small pillows. That little whisper wind had surprised her good with her small frame that housed a really impressive power, she had to give her that, but now she had kind of awakened the fighting spirit of Anja.

The Blonde would attempt to block the chop with both arms like a boxer in the defense in her ring corner before attempting to raise a knee and hit her opponent in the side with a knee strike.
