Taylor vs Hikari (Complete)

"You wont be able to break them,darling. Those are the strongest chains in the celestial realm." Taylor smiled as her opponent seemed trapped. It was the perfect chance for her last and most powerful move. She pointed her lance at Hikari as her wings boosted her speed. She rushes toward her opponent and attempts to pierce Hikari with her lance. Even if the move connects,the lance actually pierces,but leaves no wound. It's only used to knock her opponent out,nothing more.

"Dance of the heavens! Flower!" (Yeah,I know. Whoever has watched Naruto sometime should know that move,performed by Kimimaro.I just LOVE that anime " title="Very Happy" />)

"I can't believe you're forcing me to do this," Hikari said. She closed her eyes, concentrating as much energy as she could in her mind. When Taylor was very close, she felt that she had enough.

"Aegis of Light, Sanctuary!" Hikari yelled. Her top two wings grew to an enormous length, and spread out. Taylor's lance would stop in the air as if it hit a barrier of some kind.

"This is the defensive power of a Cherub," Hikari said, "Can you break through?" She was still trapped by the chains, and though she stopped her opponent's attack, she did not know how long she would be able to hold the protective spell she had woven around her.

"Your barrier is really strong...But...how long would it protect you?" Taylor said very calm,as always. She didnt care that her attack has been stopped,because her real attack hasnt been done yet. She started to push stronger as her lance started to shine with holy energy. It was the true secret of her main weapon. It was some kind of catalyst of holy power.

When Hikari saw the energy pulsing through the lance, she began to panic. Ariel, the angel possessing her, tired to calm her down.

"Hold the shield steady Hikari, no matter how strong Taylor is, you have more power than her," Ariel said.

"It's not your body on the line though!" Hikari shot back, "It's easy for you to say 'oh just hold the shield up'. You're not the onw about to be skewered!"

"Calm down. I've figured out a way to break the chains," Ariel said. Hikari brightened. "Do this quickly now..."

Hikari followed Ariel's instructions. She held her sword upright as she began her second power. "Let God's grace save the helpless from destruction. Let my sword protect those in need. Let the word of the Lord be known! Righteous blade, Justice!"

The sword glowed brightly as Hikari brought it down upon the chain. With a light tap, the chain links suddenly disintegrated. However, though she was freed, she used too much power. Her Aegis faltered, and Taylor's lance would be able to pierce through.

"This is my last chance...!" Taylor thought as the barrier started to disappear. Taylor smiled and shouting one last time,she performed her most powerful move. "Holy Lance! Apocalypsis!" .....What would happen?!?!

Hikari saw the lance coming toward her as well. "I won't let you!" she yelled, bringing her flashing sword to strike the point of the spear coming toward her. The holy magic in both weapons met, causing an enormous explosion. Who would be left standing after such an attack?

A huge cloud of smoke covered the ring. Taylor appeared,weakly standing thanks to her lance,which can transform its edge into some kind of shield. She fell down to her knee, panting loudly and only one eye open.

"Whew....One moment...What happened to Hikari?" She thought...

The smoke cleared to reveal Hikari on her knees. Her hands fell to the ground, holding herself up. She had taken a huge amount of damage, her body was bruised and battered, her face smeared with soot. She panted weakly, not believeing what had just happened. Her opponent was not looking too well either, but she had evidently taken less damage. Hikari's sword lay on the ground as well, the bright flame extinguished.

"Is this the end?" Hikari said.

Taylor slowly started to get on her feet. If Hikari allowed her,she was going to end the match right there. She weakly walked toward her and attempted to push her on her back,lean across her body and hook one legs up for the pin cover.

"If she kicks out,I wont resist another move...I need to finish her with this!"

Taylor pushed Hikari down easily. as Hikari could not resist. She pinned Hikari down with no resistance. Hikari could not fight any more, her body had been hurt too much by the final mutual attack.

"You still have your final attack," Ariel said. Hikari thought about it, and shook her head.

"That's a desperation tactic," Hikari said, "I won't use it on a weakened opponent."
