Chigusa vs. Katelyn (Complete)

Katelyn approached the ring, receiving boos from the crowd while one of Carol's guitars was humped over her shoulder.

The second she entered the ring, she strummed it to her theme song and placed it beside the ring saying, "I knew I'd be better with it."

Chigusa sat backstage, preparing herself mentally for her fight.

"Alright, this is it! Don't screw up your first match Chigusa!" she thought. She got up and walked out. The lights dimmed as two giant spotlights illuminated where she was standing. Chigusa waited until her music started, then brought out a microphone from behind her back.

"Everybody, thank you for coming!" she shouted into the microphone, "As a token of my gratitude, I will perform my new hit single live here, just for you!"

Chigusa began singing, her beautiful voice emanating around the ring. The crowd, highly appreciative, clapped in phythm while some of her young male fans went wild with enthusiasm. The guitar solo started. Chigusa stopped singing and leapt over the top ropes into the ring. She finished her song, putting her microphone down in the corner. Chigusa faced her opponent.

"So, shall we begin?" she asked.

Katelyn smiled and said, "Sure, you sing rather nicely, by the way."

The bell rang as Katelyn held her arms out and said, "Just for such a good performance, you deserve first shot at me."

"Gee, I hope you're not going easy on me just because I'm small!" Chigusa said.

Chigusa moved into the center of the ring, away from the ropes. She did not want them to get in her way.

"You know, Katelyn," Chigusa said, "You're nearly a foot taller than me, and you weigh nearly twice as much as I do. How about a test of strength? I want to see if bigger really means stronger."

Chigusa held her hands out in front, then shifted her weight as she expected Katelyn to accept her challenge.

Katelyn smirked and pushed on Chigusa's hands pushing with all her might. She had worked out for a long time and developed strong muscles. Unless Chigusa was really strong, Katelyn would surely win this contest of might.

Chigusa felt herself getting pushed back by Katelyn. She quickly realized that she didn't have nearly the strength that Katelyn had. She had to push hard to just be able to match Katelyn, using nearly all her strength just to hold her off.

"This isn't going to work," Chigusa thought, "It looks like that I'll need to use a different strategy to win."

An idea suddenly came to her. If her strength wouldn't be enough, then maybe she could use her opponent's strength to her advantage! Chigusa would let Katelyn push her a bit more, pushing back as hard as she could in order to force Katelyn to use more strength to overpower her. Then, she would drop to the ground, place her feet on Katelyn's stomach, and flip her over onto her back.

Katelyn was flat on her belly, a look of shock on her face. She couldn't believe such a weak opponent had taken advantage of her. She was now open for further attacks.

"Heh, she underestimated me," Chigusa thought.

Chigusa would run over to a corner and wait for Katelyn to try and get up. Once Katelyn was nearly up, Chigusa would run as fast as she could, using her incredible speed to her advantage, and deliver a flying enzuigiri (a sort of flying knee strike) to her opponent, a typical "Shining Apprentice" attack.

Katelyn found herself in pain once again as she fell face-first into the mat, pushing herself up.

She grinned and said, "Not bad, but now it's my turn," as she leapt off the ropes towards Chigusa, flipping herself 360 degrees and aiming a kick towards the girl's face.

Chigusa barely had time to react. Seeing her opponent flip herself around in such a way unnerved her, since she thought that her small size gave her an advantage in dexterity. Evidently not, as her opponent was nearly as good as she was. Chigusa dodged to the side, feeling the wind from the kick brush her face.

"What strength!" she thought.

She did a quick backflip to put some distance between her opponent and herself.

"Alright, so she's stronger than me and about as fast," Chigusa thought, "Do I have no advantage at all? No, wait. I do have an advantage." She thought about how she managed to land her first hits, and realized that her opponent lacked vital experience.

"I'll just wait for you to make mistakes Katelyn, then I'll counterattack!"
