Fun little story.

This is just a fun little story of what happened to me today...nothing special, just that there were two, medium sized,

BLOODY RACCOONS IN MY HOUSE!!!!


Apparently my grandma, she of not-as-sharp-as-it-used-to-be-mind-, left the window open and two of the bastards managed to claw and bite their way through the screen, and tear through the kitchen garbage.


So I got to spend about a good hour to an hour and a half chasing them around the house with a broomstick and a bit of wood.

Eventually I got them outside, where they apparently got all pissy, and turned around to leap at me.


So I got to Boss Battle the Sly Cooper Brothers on my front porch.

I won the battle, through the time honored combat art of yelling "GODDAMNIT!" really loud and smacking things with a pointy stick until they ran away.


For succeeding in such a battle, I was rewarded with 10 EXP, and a special trip to...I guess the hospital? Tomorrow, where I shall see if I need anything beside Bactine and Bandages to cure my minor wounds from said battle.

You need to be careful Tai. Call animal control or something next time. Racoons are dangerous for such cute furry things

I'll be fine.

Already cleaned the cuts and bites with hot water, bactine, and gauze wrap, going to doctor tomorrow to see if they need anything else and to try and get it properly cleaned.



Besides, even two Raccoons are nothing compared to the sheer might and power of Mr. H.R. POINTY STICK!!!!

Maybe you will become the Coon now, like Peter Parker became Spiderman? ^^

And don't think I'm gonna get rabies either. Animal Control caught the raccoons, and it turns out their actually owned by a guy who lives about half a mile away from me, near a creek. I guess I didn't notice whatever tags they had when I was chasing them with a bit of wood.


Anyway, the guys got a license for them and had them vaccinated and all that, so i think I'll be fine.

Don't know why the guys keeps them anyway, I've been by his place, sure its got a big backyard and access to the creek, but the front side of the house is right next to a suburb area, and school kids and other people pass through the trail near his house on a daily basis. Unless he just keeps them locked up, I dunno how the coons haven't done anything like this before.

Raccoon's? Sly Raccoon? Raccoon city? I've gotta look into that series sometime, but crazy story O_O hope you and your folks are okies~
