[Pendant Match]Angel and Mayu vs. Taylor and Tsumi!

Tsumi looked at Taylor and started stretching on the outside as she then heard her. Tsumi smirks as she realized that she had and opportunity to act like Taylor. Tsumi shakes her head and decides not to as she then shouts out, "Come on Taylor you can do it!" Tsumi smiles as she was just waiting for Taylor to tag her back into this. She then saw the clothesline Taylor was trying to hit Angel with. If she had connected Tsumi would extend her hand out to Taylor to show she was ready to get back into this.

Angel would have came and got Taylor, but the girl was already leaping towards her. Even this far into the match, Angel was still impressed with Taylor's crazy speed. The girl's arm caught the Latina off her guard, smashing straight into her neck before Angel could react. Her hands flew up, grabbing her neck as she took a pair of stumbling steps backwards, wincing in pain from the sudden attack.

Taylor looked past Angel at Tsumi, standing there in their corner and waving her down. Then she looked at Angel and grinned. It was pretty obvious what she was thinking.

She raised her hands as if to lock up, obviously not planning on actually doing it, and then quickly shoulder rolled to Angel's left and came up in a run for her home corner. Being two on one for a moment would definitely help them finish this match.

Angel quickly shook off Taylor's clothesline, raising a curious eyebrow as the speedy girl lifted her arms. Wondering what she had in mind, Angel lifted her own arms up to meet Taylor's, only to be shunned as the girl suddenly broke out into a run for her corner.

Well, Angel wasn't just going to stand there and let Taylor bring in her partner! With a frown splashed across her face now, the Latina chased after Taylor, knowing she had no chance of catching her but hoping she could at least deal with Tsumi before the girl had the chance to properly enter the ring.

Taylor checked once over her shoulder just enough to confirm that Angel was right behind her. She reached for Tsumi's hand as if to tag, but instead she jumped, planted both feet on the top ropes on either side of the corner, and with a quick wink at Tsumi she leapt off. She turned in the air to catch Angel's head between her thighs and attempted to throw her upper body back and use her legs to plant Angel's head in the mat.

Angel stopped on a dime as Taylor suddenly shot up her corner. That...wasn't what the Latina had been expecting from her, not at all. She stood frozen in surprise for a moment, but snapped out of it quickly as the blue-haired punk twisted in midair, her legs catching Angel by her head. Angel knew what was up; Taylor wanted to throw her down with a huracanrana. Such a thing would have been trouble for Angel, but the Latina had experience and quick reflexes on her side.

The moment Taylor's legs grabbed her, Angel's arms flew up, her hands coming to grab at the punk's legs. She leaned forward, trying to drop Taylor straight to the mat with a powerbomb reversal to high-flying move. She hoped quite a bit that the counter was enough to finally end this, trying to lean forward as she dropped Taylor down to bend her legs back over her into a pinning position. If she was able to do so, the referee then would rush over, dropping to the mat to call out the first count of the quick pin.

"One!"

At some point while swinging through the air, Taylor realized she wasn't quite going the direction she intended. Her arms flailed for a brief moment while she tried to somehow turn around in mid air, but her back slammed into the mat and her head bounced off, and she was seeing stars staring up at the lights.

She became faintly aware that the ref was counting. She heard a "Two!" somewhere, and instinctively she kicked with her legs as hard as she could and threw one shoulder up off the mat, knocking Angel halfway off of her, but it was too late. The ref had already hit the count of three and was calling for the bell. Taylor stared in disbelief while the match was called and the winners announced.

"Awwwwww, maaaaan!" She complained, and flopped onto her back, cradling her aching head. She was still seeing stars and had a fresh sharp pain in her back, but the match was over, apparently, so she could deal with it. For whatever reason, this temple games match, against Angel, just didn't seem as serious. She felt the sting of defeat, felt stupid for getting slammed through the mat in front of her newbie, but she didn't begrudge Angel for beating her. She earned it. She had no reason to dislike her, and she wasn't afraid of her... Maybe this was how it was supposed to be?

Taylor shook her head. Her relentlessness was what drove her, what got her to where she was, and she knew she couldn't just let go of losing so easily. For the moment, though, she felt okay. She looked up at Angel.

"Well, ya got me." She said. "Not gonna lie, I'm totally gonna take it way more seriously when we have a match for real. I want your nice shiny number two spot."

As soon as Angel heard the third count, she let go of Taylor's legs, pushing them to the side and scooting back from the punk. She felt good; that was a solid win, and she was glad it was finally over. Another pendant for her team, and hopefully her partner Mayu had paid attention and learned some things. She looked back down towards Taylor, remaining seated on the mat, listening to her words. She couldn't help but grin at Taylor's promise to take things more seriously next time.

"Good luck with that!" She called back to the blue haired girl, a playful look in her eyes. "I'm not giving up my spot to anyone! I've worked too hard to stick where I'm at, y'know?" She started to rise, slowly back up to her feet, and once she did so, she leaned back towards Taylor, offering her a friendly hand. "Gotta say though, chica. You're way faster than you look on TV..."

Taylor tried to smile, but it ended up looking more like a wince. Something about hearing her opponent talk and sound so proud of herself as if it was a big deal and so casual about it, as if she knew she was better all along, it made Taylor suddenly want to punch her in the face. But she didn't.

Nor did she take Angel's hand when she offered it. She got to her feet and arched her back and stretched, wincing a little from the residual effects of the final slam. "Yeah man." She said. "I don't look like much on TV. But everyone always says the same thing. Well, I'm not just fast. See ya later." Taylor said, and turned to head back to her corner and face Tsumi.

"Sorry, girlie. Can't win 'em all." Was something she would ordinarily have never even thought to say. Maybe she was really not taking the temple matches seriously. Should she be? It was also possible that she was a little disheartened by how badly her team worked out. Either way, she just wanted to get out of there before the reality of having been beaten in a fair match set in any more.

"Later..." Angel replied back to Taylor, turning from her with a small wave, heading back to her own corner. She flashed Mayu a smile, nodding towards the exit to the arena.

"Come on, girl. Let's get out of here and go celebrate!"
