Get used to it, dude. PC gaming is 90% digital now, and consoles are going to be following that route by the time the next generation rolls around.
I'm all for it, personally.

[quote="Harrier":70s3lj42]giving data to corporations voluntarily.
As a paranoid privacy guy, I can identify with this concern on some level. But with Steam your really not giving them any more information than you would with any other digital store front.
If you've never purchased anything from a digital store front ever, than I don't know what to say. Except, you may be interested in Mozilla's collusion: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/collusion/
There's a version for Chrome as well.
Also, I mean there are a lot of free games on the web if you want to go that route. Or F2P even.

OMG TOEJAM AND EARL IS THE BEST! Sometimes at work I still get the music stuck in my head, and no one cares. I need to find that again.
Toe Jam and Earl is on Wiiware. I know because I was browsing wiiware on my friends Wii, saw it, convinced him to buy it. We played until we beat it, looked at the clock and realized it was 1 AM. Then I said this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHhgllqSKro
It was really a stroke of genius conceptually, taking a roguelike (i.e. procedural generation) basis and applying it to an overhead adventure. Then it was like everyone forgot that using procedural generation on other genres was a thing that could be cool until... I can't think of anything before Spelunky frankly.

NEWS FLASH: the Archergurl who you speaking of is not part of AFW anymore and she's currently working in production for new game titles in Japan. I'm her Canadian friend who she gave her PC due to mines has crashed. She was nice enough to give it to me to help a friend in need. So she got a spared one that she uses for the things I've mention above. BTW, Anegge and Alexandra be sure to check the E-mail adresses carefully. As Archergurl and me aren't the same thing.
