If you have not checked your characters' profiles in a while, you might want to give them a look, the images may, or may not exist any longer ^^;

Are there any specific image hosts you are referring to? We know about glowfoto.
Most other hosts just hate to hotlink against our boards traffic level/ or are just awful.

NEWS FLASH: the Archergurl who you speaking of is not part of AFW anymore and she's currently working in production for new game titles in Japan. I'm her Canadian friend who she gave her PC due to mines has crashed. She was nice enough to give it to me to help a friend in need. So she got a spared one that she uses for the things I've mention above. BTW, Anegge and Alexandra be sure to check the E-mail adresses carefully. As Archergurl and me aren't the same thing.

Not really. I've just been trying to catch up with all the new characters there are in the roster since last time I was here and been finding an alarming number of images not working in the profiles, a few including my own, which I just spent about 20 minutes correcting.

On this subject, is there a rock-solid, clearly-better-than-all-the-others image site we should be using? My experience with imageshack has been mixed at best, so if anyone can recommend another, that would be good.

I've never had any problems with Tinypic, but then I don't up any nudity. I've never lost an image from them.

Imageshack is relly weird. I don't use Nudity Pics either(thinking of it being an US Corp, this can surely not fly anyway) and most pics are no problem at all, but some are gone in days. So my guess is, that it is probably a copyright thing or just random pickings.

There are basically two sorts of hosting sites.
Sites with terrible bandwidth and sites that have TOS' that prevent nude pictures.
Sadpanda is my pic of the former.
Imgur is probably my pic of the latter but tinypic isn't bad.

Imageshack automatically appends advertisement to every image you host. Which in turn is causing more bots to come to our site. Also it has both the nudity clause and terrible reliability.
Edit: It seems they may have removed the internal advertising from the images at this point? In which case I'm okay with you using it even though it's a useless host.
In any case, they ruined their reputation with me years ago and I am shocked whenever I see someone using them.
Edit2: I was going to put an image up and test the advertising thing, but it turns out you have to sign up for an account to use their hosting. Who would use an image host where you have to have an account to use it? How antiquated.

I've said this multiple times and I think it's always gone by the wayside...but I use servimg.com and have never had an issue..just saying
