Natasha Han vs. Tessa Price

Natasha was nailed by the punch, right in her collar bone. With a loud grunt she would step away from Tessa, rubbing herself was she was hit, keeping a close eye on her as she moved back.

"Not bad..."

"Same goes for you."
she answered with much respect in her voice, rubbing the back of her head with the right hand and moving the fingers of the left to compensate for the pain of hitting the collar bone directly. Not a perfect attack, but very nice since born out of desperation.

Tessa was actually really glad the Russian backed down from this initial clash. Her opponent was adaptive, packed hard hitting power in the middle range, was strong and had formed a solid defense while not moving around much. She was positive that it would prove to be a real painful process reading the weaknesses out of her opponent, but without risky moves her chances against a martial artists were rather slim.
Have to get her moving. Or grounded.
Having finally selected how to attack, she swung herself in the ropes to give her speed and performed a Handspring back elbow smash to the thorax of her opponent, trying to knock her off or let her stumble away. The Handspring would serve as distraction and was the only argument that won her over in using this usually piss poor move.

With Natasha fully focused on Tessa, such a move had no chance at all of hitting. Quickly, Natasha would move to the side to avoid it, bringing her leg up in a swift kick aimed at Tessa's midsection as she slid out of the way.

Kicker too. Not fooled by flashy moves.
Tessa paid her dues to participate in the *what can Natasha Han probably do to you* Tour 2011 with taking in a hard kick to the back that countered her own motion and caution her elbow to strike only thin air and caused her to sink down on one knee. At least she had the consciousness to sink to the knee which was positioned to her opponent.

"Aahg."
she had attacked her opponent twice and both times she had taken initiative away from her, so maybe it was time for a different approach now. She played to be a little bit more hurt than she actually was(which was no small amount at all) and would try a low kick to the kneecap of Natasha in case her opponent would choose to approach to bring some more damage, if not just get up and eye her to avoid nasty surprises.

Natasha would indeed move in to try and follow up her attack...only to be struck in her kneecap by Tessa's sudden kick. She staggered slightly, the surprise attack throwing though slightly off balance and leaving her open, for the moment...

It had luckily worked, but Tessa had little time for celebration. She got up as fast as she could, grabbed the wrist of one of Natasha's arm with both arms and would try to send Natasha full force with her front first into the corner she was facing.

At normal pace, she would have immediately followed her opponent and kicked her viciously in the back to nail her once again to the little pillows, or even better, grabbed the out of the corner stumbling Russian for a belly to belly suplex, but her recently worked back heavily protested against such an action and caused her to cut a grimace instead and hope that the impact alone would cause the Russian some trouble.

Natasha was grabbed by her wrist, and sent flying towards the corner. She smashed right into it, the frontside of her body hitting it dead on, summoning up a cry of pain through her lips. She bounced out of the corner and turned slightly to the side, leaning against the ropes and panting slightly. Tessa was good, she thought. The Russian was tired from working out all day, true, but even then, this new girl was giving her more of a problem that she had thought.

She rubbed the front of her chest lightly, where it had smashed the turnbuckle. It was a solid hit, but nothing she couldn't deal with. Taking a deep breath, she pushed off the ropes, and summoned up a bit of inner energy, suddenly letting out a cry and forcing herself to lunge towards Tessa, her arm outstretched wide. She wanted to catch the blonde off her guard with a sudden clothesline, hoping to take her down long enough for her to catch her breath and pull off a bigger move on her.

Tessa was simply delighted to see her opponent connect with a corner. Several of her opponents had been subject to this hit, and the tough ones usually managed to stumble out of the corner instead of just falling to the mat like a bag of potatoes like the rest. But Natasha took it like a champ and managed to stay on her feet, with a little help of the ropes, but it just happened and put Tessa into amazement.

And it got even better, she stormed out of the corner with a speed she never would have anticipated at this stage, took on her next attack on Tessa and send her to the ground with a crushing clothesline.
...Uuhnn...
after a short flight she found herself twisting on the floor, with her back again being the main recipient of a load of pain after the impact of the fall which caused her to groan.

Natasha backed off after Tessa went down, moving back to the ropes and leaning against them again. Her opponent looked like she would be down for a few moments, a perfect chance for her to catch her breath.

She stayed back on the ropes, the Russian watching Tessa carefully, waiting for see how she reacted now before she tried another move.

The German rolled a few turns away and got herself up into a crouching position after her opponent didn't attack a second time and oversaw the new situation.

Impressive. I've seen big men going down after that.
Tessa said with an appreciative nod of the head. This training battle was obviously a late birthday present to Tessa, without it she would have probably underestimated the resilience of some of the girls in AFW.

She got up and cautiously came closer to Natasha, trying to offer a small silhouette for punches and kicks from Natasha, moving her fingers in the try to grab attention of her opponent and idealy managed to chase her a little bit away from the ropes. In reality, she planned to execute a puro kick to the middle of the stomach of the Russian, grab her at the head when she initially bended over and would follow up with a DDT.
