Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" to play as Baylee Trottier made her appearence in her cute navyblue costume. She entered smiling and looking around, seemingly oblivious to the fact that her first opponent would be a battle-hardened fighter who was older, bigger and heavier than her. But Baylee had an impressive strength for her age, and studied many techniques thoroughly; maybe she stood a chance after all, as her opponent was not so familiarized with pro wrestling and its rules.

"And introducing a newcomer at the league -Baylee Trottier!"

She went under the lower rope of the ring and made it to its center, saluting the crowd and lifting her arms. She was obviously waiting eagerly for her first match.

The lights dimmed and the roar of a lion pierced the air, followed by the haunting, steady beat of african drums in a rhythm that sounded not unlike a funeral march, no doubt meant to intimidate a waiting opponent. Then Oya herself appeared, tall and imperious in the long red robe she wore, concealing her body as a spot light followed her down to the ring. She knew nothing about Baylee except that her foe was younger and less experienced in combat, though she wasn't about to get over confident. Taking another fighter for granted was never a wise move.

"And her opponent, from Ghana, West Africa... The lioness... Oya Sokoti!"

She entered the ring, stepping easily over the top robe and shed the dramatic looking robe. Beneath was a tall frame, lean and muscular. She wore a simple white bikini that was practically a thong in the back, showing off all of her rich, brown curves and leaving little to the imagination. She ignored the noise of the crowd, staring at Bayless with those cold, unblinking blue eyes.

Baylee looked at her opponent. Even though she kept smiling as before, on the inside she knew that she should play carefully, as both Oya's entrance music and her figure were intimidating. Baylee executed a quick bow. "I'm a bit of a rookie, but I hope we have a good fight."

She then got back to her corner and half-crouched into a wrestling stance, waiting for the bell and unconciously biting her lips out of excitement.

Oya nodded in greeting to her rival, slipping down into a similar wrestling stance, knees bent, every muscle in her body pulled taut, waiting for the sound of the bell.

*DING*

Like a cobra uncoiling to strike, she darted forward, coming straight at Baylee with arms extended, looking for a lockup, curious to test the rookies strength against her own.

Baylee accepted the test of strength and locked up with Oya, interwining their fingers. She was strong enough to resist the pushing back, although not as strong as Oya. However she soon noticed that she was at disadvantage because of her size, and was gradually pushed down instead of back. She would soon be in a pinch if she didn't do something fast.

Next, Baylee will apply a twist on the wrists hoping to disengage from the lockup. If it succeds, she will take a step back and then rush at Oya, trying to grab her legs and make her fall into the mat; if it fails, she'll continue being pushed and will be forced down to her knees.

Oya's full lips quirked into a little grin at the feel of the smaller wrestlers fingers lacing with her own. There was just something satisfying about a good, old fashioned test of strength. She began to push forward, surprised and impressed that the rookie held out as long as she did. Just when the Oya was gaing the advantage, however, her body straining forward, Baylee twisted out of her grasp!

The lockup broken, the african girl was quick to compose herself, ready to act when Baylee made her move, the rookie making the mistake of taking a single step back before charging forward. It was a second or two lost, and that was all Oya needed.

As Baylee darted in low, looking to tackle the taller wrestler, Oya snapped her right leg up, looking to counter with a swift kick to the other girls head.

Baylee was eagerly going for the tackle when she saw the platinum-haired girl's boot coming towards her. She took the hit surprised, but as they were just at the start of the match her reflexes were still good, so that she managed to clumsily brace herself and avoid the full blow.

Nevertheless, it was a tremendously strong kick, and she was sent back rolling through the mat. She tried to lift herself to her knees while massaging the head, still a bit dizzy. "Your kicks... are quite impressive."

Oya tensed as if about to rush in and level another kick at Baylee, but instead backed off a few steps. "Don't waste your breath talking. Stand and fight."

There was no malice in her voice, but it was a challenge, testing her younger opponents mental resolve as well as physical. She would wait in the center of the ring, arms raised, wiggling her fingers, ready to grapple if Baylee accepted another lock up.

Baylee knew it would not be an intelligent move to lock up like the last time. She standed up and started walking towards Oya, stretching her arms - not intending to lock up at the hands, but at the shoulders instead. That way, she thought, she wouldn't be pushed down much by the silent ebony woman.

She was only too happy to oblige as they locked up, collar and elbow, arms laced as the two rivals fought of the advantage once again.

Oya's instinct was to overpower Baylee with brute strength and force the younger girl down.. but the Canadian was deceptively strong. She quickly changed her tactics, attempting to press her body as close to Baylee's own as possible, her left leg moving forward as Oya tried to hook her foot behind Baylee's right ankle and trip her to the mat.
