Maya VS. Momoko (archived)

The lights dimmed out as the song "I don't wanna Stop" came on playing throug out the arena. Maya came out a little bashfully for her first time. She waved at the crowd before shebegan walking down the ramp and rolled into the lamp. She smiled as she got in the ring waving agian. She then put her hand on her hat pulling it down over her face before pulling it off quickly throwing it into the crowd as her purple hair hair came out of its pony tail. She then walked to her corner waiting for her opponent.

A generic entrance music played. Maya's opponent had yet to select an opening.

Momoko marched out of the entrance in a kimono-like robe. Getting up the ring using the stairs, she slipped through the ropes and selected the corner opposite Maya.

After giving Maya a "Konnichiwa" and a quick bow, Momoko undid her robe's obi belt to reveal a white two-piece bikini cladding a very lush body. Once out of her robes, Momoka bowed to Maya again, this time deeply. "Let's have a good match, Maya-san," she said as her head lifted, her left canine poking out briefly as she smiled.

She clapped her hands together and then spread them slowly, following the traditional gesture of showing she had no weapons. Then Momoka got into the combat crouch that sumo is renowned for.

Maya blushed as she looked at her beatiful opponent almost wishing she still had her hat to pull it down over her face to hide that blush. "Yes" she said softly "lets have a good match Momoko i hope you do well." She walked from her corner a little bit spreading her feet apart a little bit gettingin her own type of stance. The bell rang though Maya didn't move waiting for her opponent to make th first move.

Neither did Momoko budge. Instead she stared down Maya first, like the high-ranking rikishi did to psyche themselves up and wage mental warfare on their opponents before they grappled. It was also for Maya's sake, since Momoko felt her opponent was embarrassed- though by what, she didn't know.

Once she decides that Maya is really mentally ready, Momoko will bark out a kiai, or fighting cry, and charge at Maya, aiming to tackle and then drive Maya into the turnbuckle, hands held out to either grab or parry.

Maya stared at her opponent glad that her opponent didn't move it had gotten ready to do this. She blinked a little bit in suprise when her opponent charged at her but she kept her focus not getting scared. When momoko comes into range she will sidstep beside her grabbing ahold of her left arm and pull her along into the turnbuckle while she aims a kick at her back.

Momoko approved of Maya's swift sidestep and quick counter. But she had no intention of letting herself get flung into the turnbuckle, or the kick that she felt was coming, Maya's grip on her letting Momoko sense her opponent's center of balance. And Maya apparently thought that rikishi were fast but clumsy. They weren't, and Momoko was even less so.

Momoko will surprise Maya by slowing down sharply. Pivoting upon her left foot, she twisted her body sharply to her left, out of the way of Maya's kick, to place herself on Maya's left.

If successful, she would then grab Maya's left arm. Using her momentum, Momoko would swing her opponent into the turnbuckle.

Maya wasn't suprised at all actually because on a given note she had never truly of the sumo style.As she was slung into the ring post sshe cried out a little bit due to the impact. She leaned agianst the corner breathing a little bit not expecting such a hard hit into the turnbuckle.

Momoko will advance on Maya. Having seen enough pro wrestling on her spare time, she will be wary for sudden kicks or elbows from Maya. Once she gets in range, she will begin delivering a series of open-handed palm strikes to Maya's torso.

Maya saw her opponent coming in she knew is shestayed still she would end up taking a beating. She did something completly off the norm when her opponent got in range she more or less jumped from the ropes though she went down low hitting her opponent in thewaist putting everything she had into it to try and knock her down.

Momoko grunted as Maya tackled her in the waist. But despite being surprised and falling back a step or two, she remained solidly on her feet, her sumo training showing now as she grabbed at Maya's waist and again twisted her body to lift, and then slam Maya, front-first into the mat, hard!
