Against the Abyss: Gaia Eden vs The Defiant Darkness

Akemi's opponent had a lot more energy than the Defiant Darkness had. While they had both been on the same level when it came to trading blows, Akemi had been taking a lot more strong hits and was starting to take longer and longer to recover from each blow she took. So after taking the last blow, Akemi hadn't even been able to even start getting up by the time her opponent got back up and walk over to the downed Defiant Darkness.

Akemi winced when her vision shifted. Her brain had yet to catch up to what was going on so her opponent was able to liff her up and then hold her there for a bit. While the move wasn't intended to humiliate Akemi, the public still got a good look at what was underneath Akemi's skirt which wasn't much since the girl was wearing a one piece.

Then, the next thing Akemi saw was her vision of the floor get drastically closer until it hit the floor. She couldn't even cry out in pain as things would once again go momentarily black for her. Her body rolled forwards onto her back, the eye that was not covered by the eyepatch closed. She was barely showing any signs of consciousness. Her basically limp body making it easy for her opponent to slide over her and place her into another pin. "ONE!" the referee and the crowd shouted after the Ref's hand slapped the ring floor, starting the pin count. "TWO!" the second count came.

Things would look promising for Gaia until Akemi, leg shot out from her opponent's grasp and the Defiant Darkness' consciousness had returned to her in that split moment before three, her figure rolling onto her stomach but not getting up. She only had the basic strength to break out of the pin, but there was not much left in her. If she managed this, she would attempt to crawl away, wanting to make a small tactical retreat for a moment to recover strength.

Akemi's attempt at crawling away in pain were foiled quickly as she could only get in a few feet closer to the side of the ring before her opponent managed to snag her legs right out from under her, her eyes widening while she clawed at the floor helplessly as she struggled weakly to break free from the hold.

But just like that, her vision began to spin and that wasn't because of the multiple hits to the head she received. She realized that Gaia had started to spin her around the ring like a ball and chain, her body eventually lifting off of the ground. "S-Stop!" she yelled while being swung around. She got what she wanted, but not the way she wanted. Her body was sent flying and when she hit the ground, her body rolled a little and nearly falling outside the ring.

It wasn't nearly as painful as the last few attacks were. But it left her disoriented and a nauseous. She curled her legs under her, grabbing onto the bottom ropes, she attempted to climb back up to her feet using the ropes as a crutch. Though even with using the ropes, her balance would give out on her one time while standing.

Poor Akemi was becoming putty for her opponent to play with because with each throw from Gaia, Akemi grew weaker to the point where Gaia needed to help her keep on walking judt to keep to Defiant Darkness from falling over. "N-nngh... Th-The darkness... Always... Wins..." she spoke quietly while being guided to the middle of the ring. It seemed like she could barely understand what was going on to even talk correctly.

Akemi yelped as she was lifted upside down, expecting yet another type of throw and attempting to prepare for it by closing her eyes tightly. But the slam never came. When she opened her eyes, she would realize that she was being held upside down, her figure resting upon Gaia's shoulder with her legs spread. Of course this caused her skirt to succumb to gravity and creating a rather humiliating pose for someone like Akemi. The pain of being stretched so violently sent a painful shock through Akemi's body and near instantly reawakened the blonde chuunibyou.

"AHH!!" let out a scream of agony, her hands attempting to weakly flail in a struggle against her opponent. She could tell that Gaia was prepared to finish her off because this was the most painful hold she had been in not just in this fight, but ever. The ref ran in and checked Akemi to see if she would submit. But she kept living up to the "defiant" part of her name and shaking her head no despite everything seeming hopeless at the moment.

Her cheeks burned a bright red hue when she saw cameras snapping photos, cat calling, and some even toying with themselves a little when they realized that things were getting a bit steamy. "I... I won't.. I-... Nngh!!" she tried to come up with something to say, but couldn't talk through the pain when Gaia would stretch her further.

Akemi continued to cry out in immense pain, her head once again shaking defiantly to Gaia's order but she could do nothing to really get out of the hold she was in. At this rate, she was finally starting to lose faith in herself. Her hands reaching around and hoping to grab onto something... Anything to try and reduce the amount of pain she was feeling.

Akemi's eyes opened and widened when she suddenly finally let go of the hold. Although the damage was done, Akemi had regenerated just enough mental energy to land firmly on her feet behind her opponent--albeit barely-- turn around, and try to reach one arm down between her opponent's legs and the other around her shoulder, in a way where the two hands would meet in the middle if she was successful.

If she managed that, the Defiant Darkness would bend her knees and use the last bit of energy she had left in her to try and lift her opponent into the air above her head and then spike her into the ring floor back first in her finish move: "Darkness Armageddon". Normally she would yell out the name of her finisher, but she didn't have the energy for it.

She had so little energy in fact that if she did manage to land the finisher, she would just collapse onto her opponent for the pin, meeting the absolute bare minimum requirements for a pin.
