Bethany Maroza vs. Seraphina Rose (debut)

Bethany sighed as she checked herself in the mirror. Looking herself up and down, and making sure she was ready, she clicked her heels and put on a smile on her face, that faltered a bit. She closed her eyes, her shoulders slumping somewhat, as she looked back at the mirror, now with a bit of a frown on her face as she craned her neck around. Bethany's track record in AFW was flashing through her mind, and how many times she had lost matches, including her debut, and got defeated in other wrestlers debuts. She really liked the experience of the sport, but she wondered if she'd be able to maybe turn things around this time, considering this was another new wrestler's debut she was up against. Someone named Seraphina Rose, if she remembered correctly.

Raising her foot, then stamping it, and then building up some momentum, bringing her feet up and down, finally setting up her resolve. Whether people wanted to see her get squashed again or not, she figured oh well, might as well. She had a circus to represent and was going to try her best nonetheless. The ringleader had still given her his approval, irregardless of her track record, and people didn't hate her performances, they really seemed to like her theatrics. She had shown her mettle before, and had shown she wasn't a pushover, even if she had to admit she had gotten jobbed around by several fights.

She was hoping maybe this time she could snag a win.

As Fantastic Theatre blared through the speakers, Bethany made her way onto the ramp, bringing a hand up to her hat and swiping it off, she bowed her head as pyro technics released their spectacles, answered by the crowds cheering. Putting her hat back on, she strode along the ramp with a skip in her step, as she cracked her whip in the air, and with that, ribbons slid out from her sleeves and flowed gracefully alongside her as a golden lighting effect made it appear that glitter descended from the ceiling above. Entering the squared ring, she took off her hat and tapped it, as it shrunk and disappeared, a magic trick the audience absolutely loved from her. Her flare and style was truly something unique to her.

Tossing her hat to the crowd (who started to fight for it), and then her whip outside the ring, and gently taking her ringleader coat off, she stood wearing her white crop top, her black skirt with a see through fabric near the bottom of it, and exotically black patterned stockings with black ballet flats, looking towards the entrance and preparing for her opponent.

Serahina hummed along with Bethany’s theme as she came out to the masses, utterly perplexed as to why a circus performer would sully themselves with becoming a wrestler in the first place. She shrugged as she put the final touches on her outfit, wrapping up her legs and looking up at the screen. The lights went off and her music began to play, her theme began to echo throughout the stands as the crowd cheered. The cheers only got louder when the lights went up - there she was, standing with her back to the audience, giving them a perfect view.

Seraphina Rose:

She bounced to the music and spun about on her heel, As she made her way to the ringside her pace quickened taking her right to the apron. With a jump she had hosted herself up onto the side and rolled beneath the bottom rope.
Using the ropes to pull herself up, turning her back to Bethany as she dusted off her clothes. She bent down, far enough to touch her toes as she patted down her rose colored stockings, leaving her backside in full view of her opponent. She played it off as being naive, half way through brushing herself off she stood upright and smoothed down her skirts to feign embarrassment but she knew exactly what she was doing.

Turning to face her opponent smiling at her through the hair all over her face. ”Hi there.” Seraphina threw a wink her way and stood up, clearing the strands away and keeping her gaze on her. ”Ready for me?”

Bethany watched her opponents descent down the ramp, noting the song being a bit of a bop, eyeing every movement. A number of thoughts crossed her head, the first being why was this person dressed like a ballroom party goer mixed with an office lady? She had a gut feeling this person probably had a lesson or two in self smug attitude and a class in self ass kissing. It was just a feeling, but appearances can give indicators to a person's nature, after all.

As Ms Rose entered the ring, and did her little thing, Bethany couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. She had assets, and wondered if she would use that offensively. Nevertheless, after Ms Rose's little inquiry, Bethany responded, "Of course, but are you ready? You seem a little overdressed for the occasion, it's not like we're going to dance or anything. Unless that's what you want." she said as she did a motion with her hand, and a flower popped out of thin air seemingly, a pleasant looking rose. She offered it in Seraphina's direction.
