Strategy: Trained in Ninjutsu from a young age, Ayame’s fighting style shows the swiftness of a ninja. She uses acrobatic high-flying attacks from all angles to surprise and overwhelm her opponents. She can also be quite sneaky, slipping in and out of the ring to disappear and attack from her opponent’s blind spots. She also has an arsenal of ninja tools that she may use in her matches to give her an advantage or to get out of tight spots, and she has the training so that referees most likely wouldn’t be able to catch her in the act.

Personality:
Bright, bubbly, and full of energy, Ayame is almost the exact opposite of what a ninja is expected to be. She likes being loud and noticeable and getting the attention of others. That’s why being an idol suits her far better than being a ninja. She could be quiet and sneaky if she wants so, having been trained in ninja arts, but she would rather be loud and proud.

Past/History:
Like all members of the Hamaguchi clan, Ayame began her training in the ninja arts when she was three years old. Though she progressed successfully through the training and is considered a full ninja by the clan, she was never thought of as particularly skilled or talented, merely being quite average. That never bothered Ayame though, as given the modern era being a ninja to her was just a cool hobby, like practicing karate or archery. She was never going to solely be a ninja for the rest of her life, and as such, she went to school and had friends just like any other girl with a less unusual upbringing.

What Ayame did have a talent for was singing. She had a great voice, and she loved to sing and perform in front of people (much to the chagrin of her more conservative family members, who thought she was far too flashy to be a ninja). During high school, she would often sneak out at night and go visit KTVs with her friends, where they would spend their time singing the night away.

It was during one of these visits that she bumped into a small-time music producer looking for talent. Though this producer was far from influential, he recognized talent when he saw it, and brought her into the idol agency that he had just started working for. Ayame was easily able to pass through auditions with her naturally gifted voice and joined the idol agency. Again, the more conservative members of her family frowned upon this, however her parents and her grandpa, whom she looked up to the most and who taught her all her ninjutsu, were very supportive.

The small idol agency saw some success over the next few years, enough that Ayame caught the eye of a much larger entertainment organization. AFW knew Ayame had ninja training, and so she wasn’t like the other idol wrestlers who were usually less capable fighters. They wanted an idol who could fight. Though Ayame was hesitant to join the AFW at first due to the league’s reputation, she knew she would get a chance to put all that hard ninja training she went through to good use, and perhaps bring some more awareness to the existence of real ninja arts. Ayame was quite curious how she could apply her ninja arts to the more sexual combat present at AFW, having discovered a few such forbidden techniques during her ninja training that she was eager to finally try out.
