Vera vs. Beth (Complete)

Vera did her best to ignore the pain dealt by Beth's rapid punches, but eventually, she ended up releasing her hold on Beth's arm, rolling to the side.

Beth would be quick to her feet, shaking off the effects of the hold as quick as she could. She'd take a few quick breaths, watching Vera closely as she held her arms up in front of her in her boxing stance. She'd start making her way towards her opponent, and when close enough she'd start throwing out a few punches and jabs, not wanting to run head first into another hold.

Despite the incredible quickness of the incoming punches, Vera was still prepared as she grabbed onto Beth's wrists, twisting them while saying, "You're a strong girl, but you lack patience and skill. I learned that from taking in those earlier blows."

The crowd was surprised to hear that. Was Vera implying that she'd taken in those earlier blows... on purpose? Whether it was deliberate or not, she was clearly a force to be reckoned with.

Beth would grimace as she felt her opponent twist her wrists. It pissed her off that Vera was analyzing her like this. "Shut up...and fight!" Even though Beth was a boxer, it didn't mean she couldn't fight any other way. She'd jump off the mat, bringing her knees up to her chest before kicking both legs out. She hoped that with Vera still holding onto her wrists, she'd take the blow full on, and would be winded from it.

Vera took in a hard blow to the face and released Beth, backing up a bit while rubbing the spot that had been hit, her guard now dropped.

Giving a shout, Beth would scramble to her feet, charging forward at Vera as she got up. She didn't care if she didn't have patience. Now was the time for them to fight in their match, not talk to each other. When she reached Vera, she'd aim to tackle the other girl and lift her off the mat, grabbing her legs before sending her down to the mat in a spinebuster.

The crowd was once again cheering for Beth as Vera found herself lifted off the mat and found herself on the receiving end of a spine buster. But strangely enough, the attack didn't seem to faze Vera as she whipped out her legs, wrapping them around Beth's ankle and pulling them inward in an attempt to trip her opponent.

This girl was proving to be made of some rather sturdy stuff. Beth was getting frustrated. But she didn't have time to think about that as she was tripped, hitting the mat as she fell onto her back. But she was quick to get to her feet, putting some distance between herself and her opponent. She needed to figure out how to take Vera down. She must be bracing well for the blows. Which meant an unexpected hit would do the trick. But she wasn't sure how to do that just yet.

Vera proceeded to charged straight for Beth. If Beth attempted another punch, Vera would simply dodge to the side and attempt to set the girl up for another arm lock.

Beth would indeed swing for Vera, cursing as the girl dodged. But rather than let her get another hold locked in, Beth would move in close, bringing her head forward to slam hard against Vera's. Beth had a hard head, and hoped that Vera would at least be shaken by the blow. Because it would leave her stumbling back, holding her forehead in pain.
