Bashira Matsumoto vs. Masuyo Ai - Food Wars

Climactic. Dramatic. Poetic. But most of all, it was goddamn cathartic. Bashira couldn't think of any other words that ended in -ic so those were going to have to do for now. Hey what the hell do you want from her? She's fucking fatigued as shit, all thanks to this boney-assed MMA twerp deciding to actually make Bashira work harder than she ever had for a win than wasn't even on a goddamn PPV. The Beer-Bellied Beast didn't know just what the fuck this bitch was fighting so hard for, and quite frankly she couldn't care less. She needed to hammer home a message to Masuyo, and one not so easily forgotten lest she come back for more. Like a scrappy dog not knowing that sometimes, it IS about the biggest dog in the fight. Not about the dog who has the biggest fight in him. Bashira wanted this to be the culminating lesson from a teacher twice her weight before today's class ended session.

Bashira huffed in exhaustion and gnashed her teeth but nevertheless savored every second she could in prostrating the MMA maven to the world. Upside-down and displayed helplessly with perhaps a whole new view of the world outside of the literal inversion. All before Bashira brought down the meteoric boom that made the ring ropes quiver and the audience's belief in a last second adrenaline fueled comeback from Masuyo seem distinctly unlikely now. Bashira ominously standing over the motionless maven, dripping with sweat and casting a half-lidded gaze downward. Some beginning to worry that the beastly bruiser would take matters one step too far through gigantic splashes or sledging strikes...but instead she'd hock a loogie to the side and drop to her knees. Tossing Masuyo over onto her back and plopping her blubbered gut across the maven while hooking a leg for a pin count that even some of Masuyo's fans would rather she stay down for this time.

"1!"

"TWO!"

Masuyo could hear the words echoing from the real world inside of her head as distant as they may have seemed. She could hear them, but couldn't quite grasp their meaning. She felt angry but wasn't sure why. She had to do something, but couldn't place her finger on it. Her mind was in an empty state for a clear moment after her head met the floor, and when she reawakened, it was an intense wave of pain through her entire body that dragged her back to reality in the worst way possible.

Not that it may have seemed that way from how little the MMA fighter seemed to stir underneath Bashria. From underneath the giant's substantial weight came a faint gasp and a simple pained groan. Masuyo's eyes peeled open through narrow slits, seeing a flash of light from the stage above. Her sweltering body was pinned beneath a dense source of heat like she'd been covered by a bear-skin blanket that sapped her remaining energy. The ring was teetering left and right like a ship at sea beneath her limp body flat against the floor, to the point she thought it might flip over entirely. She heard voices calling her name all around her. She was in the middle of a fight. Against who, for what reason? Masuyo couldn't know for sure. The only thing she understood was the heavy beat in her heart and the taste of adrenaline in her veins tapering away.

The best she could do was lift a single finger. A simple gesture that felt tethered by the weight of the underworld dragging her back to blackness whence she came.

"THREE!"

The Demon fell back and shut her eyes, unconscious.

This was, without a shadow of a doubt, the most expensive goddamn tempura dish of Bashira's motherfucking life. The Bear-Woman couldn't help but harken back to what started this savage food fight, which was merely her slovenly gorging herself on Masuyo's bento box one fateful gym day. One heaping handful of fried fish and vegetables was all that led to this downright brutal beatdown between enemies. In retrospect, now that Bashira had seen the full repercussions of her heinous actions, would she do it all over again?...Well of course she fucking would, that dish was freaking delicious. Plus, she's gotten to showcase her raw strength to the world in her debut match by squashing the MMA maven with one catastrophic power move after another.

The Three count cementing her victory to stereo vibrating heavy metal, pure unadulterated satisfaction being the immediate feeling Bash would become awash in from pinning down this comatose Demon. She sat herself up and glowered down at Masuyo, now splayed out and with all of that scrappy fight and spitfire nowhere to be seen. The better woman won and now this noodle waitress was gonna have to learn to live with that fact, which suited Bashira jyuuuust fine. The Rotund Behemoth sauntered up to her feet where the referee raised her hand in victory, a gesture she'd refute by yanking her arm free to raise them both skyward. A foot leveraged on Masuyo's chest as she bellowed out a guttural and beastly roar, echoing throughout the arena and letting it be known from this moment onward...this right here was Bear Country.
