As Kazuma's body moved his consciousness started to get back into working order, unfortunately his body still ached and the count was getting higher!

"NINE!"

Kazuma could already see how this match was going to end, especially as he noticed Asuka's tired and dazed form was struggling to move. It was very unlikely that he'd be able to get up to a standing base in one second but still he had to admit that his second match in AFW turned out to be more intense than he thought it'd be, of course given that his opponent was a wrestling legend it'd be silly to think it'd be anything other than an intense match. He was proud of himself for hanging in there for so long but he was also disappointed that he couldn't get the win on an opponent that hadn't been in action for some time. If anything the fact showed him that he was really going to need to level up if he was going to compete in AFW, even more so if he was going meet Chris Morgan some day. Kazuma began to finally push himself up, unfortunately it was too late.

"TEN!" The referee's voice rang out, followed by the ringing of the bell, signaling the end of the match as a draw. Kazuma rolled out of the ring and began to slowly make his way to the back, not even waiting to see if Justice Asuka was alright after her first match in long time.

A Star's Return: Justice Asuka vs Satou Kazuma - Page 6 Empty Re: A Star's Return: Justice Asuka vs Satou Kazuma

Still lying on her side as her last desperate attempt at getting up had been thwarted in the last moment, Justice remained there cursing her own lack of strength as she was just unable to get up. Of course getting a draw wasn’t as bitter as being defeated, but without meaning some kind of offense to her rival the veteran had expected some of her experience to be of some more use.

It just wasn’t like that. Justice had found herself rusty and not feeling in form at all. She didn’t think she had rushed in her returning, but the outcome of the match and her overall performance had been a disappointment for herself. The public didn’t think like that, always enthusiastic at having her back, but that wouldn’t help Sanae’s mind state.

As soon as the count reached ten, Kazuma slipped below the ropes and disappeared nowhere to be seen. Justice still needed some more seconds to regain her breath. An officer made some checking on her to see how she was doing, the veteran nodding with her head to signal that she wouldn’t need help to get out of stage. When she was ready, Sanae stood on her feet and crossed her arms in front of her chest as she made a respectful bow to the people standing and cheering before leaving the arena. She felt like she had failed the public and herself, and had a lot of reflecting to do before her next match.

Draw by count out
