Gallium Heart vs. Halloween Sonohara - Hardheaded

Holy shit, that was a lot of people.

Like, okay, Yuki knew there would be a lot of people in this arena for her match. This wasn’t some bingo hall, this wasn’t a high school gymnasium, this wasn’t even the small-town coliseum she had for her biggest matches back home. No, this was the big-time. The AFW. The creamiest of the crops. The biggest of the leagues. People spent their hard earned yen to come here by the thousands every week. They weren’t just filling up the stands, but they were watching worldwide.

But even still, wow, that was a lot of people. Yuki had poked her head out of the curtain for a second, just to get a good look of what she was working with, and she found herself gawking as her eyes scanned the stands. Thousands. Thousands. She was fairly sure she hadn’t seen so many people in one place in her entire life, not even at that football game her mother had dragged her to when she was young. All those people, eating popcorn, drinking, chatting, and in a moment they’d all have their eyes on her.

Her.

”Hooooooooooboy.” She stepped back into the gorilla position, taking deep breaths as she retreated to try and enforce some calm into her breathing pattern. She was doing a good job of it, too...before she backed up into something. Or someone.

Yuki squeaked and hopped forward, spinning about in mid-air with her fists raised, half-expecting her opponent to be standing there ready to attack her before the match started. Instead, all she found herself staring at was a stagehand, some small girl with a headset on. Well, smaller than average. She still had about five inches on Yuki.

”Sorry, sorry!” The stagehand waved her hands in defense, along with a nervous chuckle and a waning smile. ”I didn’t mean to startle you, Ms. Garcia.”

Yuki had been taking to readjust her hair, making sure everything was still in place, but she froze and shot the stagehand a flat glare when she brought the name at. She could’ve sworn she told them the name she wanted to go with…

”Sonohara. It’s Yuki Sonohara.”

”Are you sure?” She held up the clipboard. ”It says here-”

”Chica, how you gonna tell me what my own name is?” She threw her hands up and spun about, muttering, before she turned back to look at the woman over her shoulder, sighing. Calm down. Nerves getting to her. ”Just roll with me on this, it’s what I’m going with. Is it almost my time? Got everything synched up?”

The stagehand didn’t seem to take the outburst too serious, giving her a smile and thumbs up for confirmation. ”Oh, you’re good to go, definitely. Just say the word.”

Yuki closed her eyes, held her hands to the side, and took a long inhale, filling her lungs with air, holding for a moment, and letting them out with a slow release. She could do this. It all started here.

”The word.”

A few moments later, and a metal version of the Halloween theme was playing over the loudspeakers as the lights dimmed. Yuki waited until the guitar started to kick in before she emerged from the back, wearing a Jason hockey mask as she stalked to the ring, illuminated in bursts by flickering lights as she ran from side to side on the ramp, darting about like some mad goblin. She slid into the ring at the end of the ramp and popped to her feet, then tossed her masked out of the ring as the lights came up. Feeling the music, the energy, the crowd, she threw up the devil horns and did laps around the ring as she thrashed her head, wild hairs whipping about.

Oh, yeah. She was ready.

Backstage, a naked Gallium Heart was in a private spot in the common locker room, not a big enough star yet to get her own, stepping into her small white singlet, pulling it up her slim young figure, pulling the straps up onto her shoulders, and checking herself out in the mirror, making sure it clung to her body and that her butt looked cute in it.

It had been some time since Gallium had been since in an AFW ring. The last match she had, she had been in the middle of what seemed like was going to be her first victory, when her opponent, an already frustrated GASTER, locked her in a tight armbar hold and injured her by accident. Since then, she had been healing up and keeping in shape, enjoying life in Japan by taking some various night courses, spending time with her best friend Silver Ace when she could.

But now she was fully healed, and ready to get back in the ring. While she may have started out nervous about wrestling when she first got to Japan, her experiences in the ring, against some of the toughest women in the world, have helped her gain confidence in her ability and willingness to do crazy things in the ring, and she had built up a small reputation in her rare matches for some of the crazy things she had done.

Granted, none of those things had earned her any wins just yet, but those wins would come, as long as she believed in herself and kept being the cute and adorable Maple Leaf Warrior she was!

At that point, she got called, told her match was coming up. The teen went to the monitor to see her opponents entrance...and cocked her head in confusion.

"Uh...brain...what am I seeing?" Gallium thought, having a private conversation with her own brain...which was probably a sign of a very overactive imagination, if she ever mentioned it to anyone.

"Seems to be a trick or treater in the ring." her brain replied....somehow.

"...This league is kinda weird." She said aloud, before [url=Fusq - Perfume]her new theme[/url] started to play. The cute and bubbly theme perfectly suited the young kawaii, and she came out from the back onto the entrance ramp, bouncing around the entrance ramp, waving happily to the crowd, her bare feet stepping on cold steel as she made her way towards the ring, enjoying the whistles and catcalls she got from people due to her attractive body and cute attire.

Rolling under the ropes, she entered the ring, pointing to the big pink maple leaf on the titan tron that had her name on it, blowing the audience a kiss before slapping the same hand onto her cute butt.

Her music dying down, she turned and looked at her opponent, walking up to meet her in the center of the ring, offering her a bright smile and giving her the typical polite Canadian greeting. "Hi there! I'm Gallium Heart, the Maple Leaf Warrior! I saw your entrance...I don't mean to be rude eh, but you know its March right? Bout six months until trick or treating comes up. I do love your outfit though! You are super cute! You're like a cute little pumpkin!"

She giggled, looking the other girl, noticing with sheer delight that this was first girl she had met in the league actually shorter than she was!

‘Gallium Heart’.

Halloween had heard that she would be up against a woman with that sort of name, but she’d been in such a rush to get everything set up and do all the paperwork and convince them to start her off with a non-kawaii match that, truth told, she hadn’t even bothered to look the woman up. She couldn’t have been all that popular. Halloween watched AFW fairly regularly, and she couldn’t recall seeing anyone with that name on the regular roster. But that wasn’t a bad thing, exactly. Lots of Friction women weren’t seen all that much. Some of the best, in fact. As long as they gave her a real, solid opponent, she’d be happy.

That was what Halloween wanted, anyway. What she got when the music started up, however…

She stood there, paused in her stretches, as her opponent made her way down to the ring. She was, well...she was a cute chick with pink hair in a singlet. Not that tall. Not built. Barely any muscle on her to speak of, being honest. She was pretty, but she looked about as threatening as your average marshmallow. Not that she was in any position to throw stones in that regard, but at least she was kind of supposed to not be threatening.

Halloween didn’t move as the ‘Maple Leaf Warrior’ came into the ring, all cute and cuddly and giving cavities to everyone in the vicinity.  She did raise an eyebrow as the woman gave her a little tease, poking some innocent fun at her outfit. She seemed nice enough. Sweet thing. Innocent.

Wouldn’t stop Halloween from doing what she was going to do, though.

After a moment of standing there with a blank stare, Halloween finally moved, arching her back. When she came back a second later, she had a nice, full smile for Gallium.

”Heeeeeeeeeey.” Halloween gave her a sparkling wink. ”Chica, you mind bringing that $1000 face of yours down here for a second? Got a little something-something I want to whisper in your ear.”

Gallium still had that lovely Canadian smile on her face, waiting for the bell to ring to start the match, when her adorable and small opponent gave her a wink and asked her to lean in close to whisper something to her, making her blink in confusion. "...What? Um...I dunno..." she replied, rubbing the back of her pink head. If her match with Gaster had taught her anything, it was that even cute small people could be rather viscous is the ring...still though...this girl seemed to cute to be that kind of mean spirited....

"Well...alright, but no tricks, okay?" the rather naive teen said, stepping in closer and leaning in towards Halloween. "What is it?" she asked, even as the bell rang to officially start their match.

”Oh, yeah. No tricks.” Halloween waved off Gallium’s concerns as the Canadian leaned in, coming in for the whisper. She waited until she was right there, as close as she was going to get, before speaking the hushed words in her ear.

”Just treats.”

And with that timely prelude, Halloween grabbed Gallium by the head, pulled her face against the top of her scalp, leaped up and fell to her pert little bottom, ramming the taller woman’s visage into her head for her finishing move - the Skullbreaker.

Poor little Gallium literally never saw it coming. The Maple Leaf Warrior had been too trusting of the Halloween themed woman, and before she could contemplate the meaning of the phrase "just treats", she had Halloween's hard head smashing into her face with her surprise finisher.

Gallium didn't even cry out, the blow instantly causing her eyes to glaze over, and her body to recoil backwards, hitting the mat and going limp, KOed in a single blow!

Bam. Down she went.

The audience didn’t know what to say, the referee didn’t know what to say, the commentators didn’t know what to say. Halloween, for her part, just took a second to shake her head after the impact. Sure enough, Gallium wound up taking it hard, laid out and seeing stars. Poor thing, but hey, all was fair.

”Sorry, sexy.” She crawled over, sat on her opponent’s stomach, and pressed on her chest for the pin, with the referee dropping down quick to oblige. It was all academic at this point.

”1…!”

"2!"


"3!"

With that final count, the pin was done, the match over in near record time, and Gallium groaned, shaking her pink head and opening her bright blue eyes, looking up at Halloween with confusion. "Wait...what...what the...the match is over already!?" she said in surprise, looking very confused.

Halloween popped to her feet right after the count, dusting herself off and shaking away the imaginary cobwebs. Yup, that had been a fast one, but she wasn’t complaining. She’d just made a good amount of money to do basically jack shit. This was living the dream.

She took a step towards the ropes when Gallium’s voice froze her in mid-step, her leg still lifted in the air. After bringing it back down, she hopped around and threw her hair back, getting her face nice and clear as she looked down at her foe. Former foe. Whatever.

”Yeah, cleaned your clock off the gate, sorry. Que sera, que sera. Shit happens, chica.” Halloween shrugged and turned to leave again, only to turn back once more. ”I’m hungry, feeling a cheeseburger. You want to come with?”

Well...a one hit KO.

That was...REALLY embarrassing.

Gallium blinked several times after hearing the news, blushing as bright pink as her own hair, the young Maple Leaf Warrior having her fastest loss yet since joining the league. Not only had she yet to gain a single win yet, but now she was losing in literally record time.

She looked down, rubbing her bare arm, clearly looking upset as Halloween made to leave the ring, wincing as she rubbed her jaw. "No...no thanks...think I can only eat soup tonight anyway..." she said as she rolled out of the ring after Halloween left, the victorious new wrestler ignoring her as she made her way back to celebrate her first win, while Gallium just looked at the booing crowd, who both felt cheated a proper match and were shaming Gallium for her performance, and made her way to the back, feeling properly humiliated and wondering just how she was supposed to come back from this...
