Many may have thought Harumi was a fool to not push her advantage further, work her larger foe over as she laid on the ground stunned by the surprising power kick. Some of the cruder members of the audience even booed her for not indulging in her dark desires, for being a good sport and checking on her opponent. Harumi ignored the sick jeers at her expense, only focused on Eka and her wellbeing at the moment. She had meant to knock the Georgian for a loop, a desperate, stupid attempt to get back at her for what she did to her arm, and now the shame of her actions was clear on her face.

Just thinking about it hurt Harumi. She had been so caught up in proving her point right that she did not realize that she was starting to walk side by side with Eka down this dark path. Both had done something egregious and completely out of character in this match. Both had come close to seriously harming the other, and the judoka still was unsure the extent of the damage. She wanted to check and see the extent of the damage done to her opponent, but was far to hesitant to move in on her. After all, it was a wounded and injured Harumi that wrought this situation, an injured and crowded Eka might to something far more drastic then before.

However, the raven-haired grappler proved to be far more resilient then the judoka thought. Harumi took a step back as Eka stood back up onto her feet somewhat unsteadily. “C-careful! You really shouldn’t stand up so fast after a head injury. You should…” despite Eka’s assurances that she was alright, Harumi was still hesitant. What if she had a neck injury and didn’t know it? Or perhaps she had a minor form of shock? Harumi felt slightly better that Eka was assuring her she was okay but…She was still worried.

As Eka crouched low in her stance, ready to once again initiate her grappling technique, Harumi hesitated. Would it be wise to continue this fight? Both could seriously hurt one another at this state, and Harumi did not want either of them to break their bodies for something as simple as a win.

The teal attired woman would have suggested they stop, but after seeing Eka’s wide grin, the charm in her eye, she could not bring herself to do so. She was looking forward to finishing this match, and asking to just quit in the middle would be disrespectful, to both of them. With a heavy sigh, Harumi gave Eka a smile as she got into her judo stance.

“Thank you. Your kimura…was quite effective as well. You will have to teach me sometime.”

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

Harumi was probably right. It was unwise to get up so quickly after getting rocked in such a fashion, but Eka was running on adrenaline and moxie and sheer dumb luck, so she was going to harness every wave of energy that she had the fortune of experiencing. Mentally, Eka totally brushed off Harumi's comment. The Georgian girl doubted that she said it in bad faith, but Eka had her eye on the prize. Truth be told, the throbbing pain was something that cried out not to be ignored, but Eka was going to try and put it aside anyways.

"Yes, I would be very happy to teach you. But perhaps not right now, yes?" Eka laughed. It had been a long time since Eka was feeling in a jovial mood in the middle of a match, but it had been a long time since she had faced anyone who had fewer than fifty pounds of muscle on her and a foot or two in height. Nor had she been put against someone she had vibed with so hard, either. Eka appreciated how fierce Harumi was, and how kind she could be. It was something that she found altogether rare, and the Georgian girl was going to enjoy it.

While it lasted. The match was still on, and that concept fomented itself in the fact that Eka was now inching forward, approaching the judoka at a pace that could be described as somewhere between glaciatic and zero Kelvin. After taking a breath in, she picked up the pace, seeing the judo stance in all its stolid majesty. There were going to be very few chinks in the armor, and Eka knew that. If a door opened for her, it would be because she opened it.

Eka reached out and went for a lock up. The ravenhaired girl was not pushing that hard, but just enough. Just enough to let Harumi know that she was alright, despite getting kicked in the head. Just enough to let Harumi know that they were still in the middle of a match, and that she respected her opponent's strength. Just enough to let Harumi know that Eka was no longer afraid, of the judoka or of her own self or of the greater world out there that demanded that the two brave women engage in the contest of contests, unifying their existence by forcing the universe to pick which one had the sole and solemn right of being the victor.

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

It seemed the two competitors had made up with one another, forgiving the others transgressions and putting their differences aside to continue their bout. The negative energy that seemed to cloud the ring easily dispersed, and now only friendly competition resided in the ring. It was the mountainous Georgian vs the noble judoka, each one inching forward closer and closer with cautionary steps that gave away each other’s anticipation for the rest of the match to come. An amazing thing had happened in the ring that day, and yet the two must still face off in respect for their competition.

The women’s hands reached out to one another and collided for another lockup. Neither of the woman seemed to have the strength to push as hard as their bodies could. Harumi’s arm still ached from the previous hold, and she was careful not to put much force on it, the arm griping Eka more so to appear like a proper lockup then to push the raven-haired beauty back. Harumi simply focused on maintaining her position rather then trying to push her opponent back, but even that was difficult to do with one arm, yet still she pushed on, returning the fiery gaze Eka poured into her, refusing to let up. It was a welcome change to see her opponent so sure of herself, straight forward with no hesitation, unlike the start of the match.

Now all that was left was to try to win. Harumi knew she could not do so locked up with the Georgian, so she swiftly attacked, using her legs to try and destabilize the Georgian so that might be able to commit to another hip toss. In a way, this was one last test, one final hurdle Harumi wanted to see Eka get through. Would Eka be clear of mind enough to avoid falling for the same trick? Or would she plunder into the trap, and thus needing more time for recovery?

Their two bodies were intertwined now, in the flesh and in the spirit. It seemed as if the world slowed. Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes turned to hours. There was probably a world outside of the two of them, but Eka did not care to learn it. She was here, now. Going against a competitor who was both fiery and noble, fierce and calm. She counted her breaths. Each exhalation was an eternity. Her large chest rose and fell, showing how much this match had taken out of her. And how much she had left in the tank. Before Eka could do anything, Harumi sprung into action.

She was fast. But Eka was faster. As soon as the Georgian girl sensed any movement from Harumi's lower half, she went into motion. Her leg rose up. A dark thought seeped into her mind. Harumi's legs were wide open. It would be so easy for her to just launch her leg forward and catch her right in the crotch. She could play it off, surely. The ref might not even see the hit particularly cleanly, and there was no way that the folks in the crowd would. No. She had gotten past that. And Harumi deserved nothing less than her best.

Eka brought her leg up to defend herself. The Georgian girl recognized that she was avoiding oblivion by mere seconds. She had stuffed the kick, and now it was time to go on the offensive.

When she placed her foot on the ground, she used that momentum to continue forward, going for a crocodile roll to get the woman on the ground. She had a decision to make, and no time with which to make it. Eka quickly tried to wrap her legs around Harumi's head while she was on the ground, in a figure four face lock. The move would have to be a quick one, and Eka's heart was pounding fast. But the thought of her fun parts right in Harumi's face made the thought of cinching it in all the more delightful.

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

It seemed Harumi worried for nothing. Eka had made a decent recovery from her wounds, and now she was beginning to see through Harumi’s tricks. Before the judoka could even strike at the Georgian’s leg to knock her off balance for her hip toss, Eka raised her leg defensively, blocking the kick and leaving Harumi to be the one in the vulnerable position. It was a terrible situation for a competitor to find themselves in, which is why many of the audience members were confused when the emerald warrior was seen smiling. Why would she be happy that Eka negated her attack?

I guess she has finally overcome that which ailed her…~

Harumi did not see her failure, but Eka’s success. The once troubled girl who seemed lost at the beginning of the fight had now found her way, and though there was much pain in getting there, Harumi was sure it would simply be the soil that nurtured the seeds of growth and change.

The Judoka protected her arm while being swept up in her opponent’s crocodile roll, letting her back take the brunt of the impact rather than her precious limb. It was a good shock to the system, with the tired woman seeing stars even before Eka’s legs wrapped around her skull. It would take the stoic woman a moment before she realized just where her face was, feeling the gentle crease of her opponents “fun parts” right on the bridge of her nose. Harumi’s blush was so bright red, everyone could see it even with Eka’s legs obscuring her face. Some people in the audience laughed, while Harumi simply tried to tug her way out not due to pain or her cut off blood flow, but simply because of how shy she was in that position, pulling way weakly while turning her face away from Eka’s privates.

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

Eka detected something coming from down below. It wasn't something too bad, she didn't think. Harumi was in a bit of a jam, sure, but this wasn't anything that she would have been wholly unaccustomed to. Heck, it wasn't even the worst act that would take place in this very ring this evening, she would wager. She could have grinded a little bit, but she held back. Eka did not know Harumi like that. At least not yet.

The Georgian girl released the hold, and pivoted towards Harumi's lower half. She was going for her big finish, but she respected Harumi too much to go straight in. Eka was showing off a bit of athleticism and core strength as she turned and flung herself at Harumi's feet. She was hoping that an oxygen-deprived Harumi would be slow to react. Otherwise, she might be in for an interesting turn of events.

It was the same general movement, which Eka saw as kind of humorous. In fact, it shared parts of the same name. But the move had an entirely different effect. Instead of going for a figure four lock on Harumi's head, she was going for a figure four lock on Harumi's legs.

And now Eka was at a juncture. She could go as hard as possible, to show the Judoka that she respected Harumi. Or she could lay off, and show that she meant no harm. Her blue eyes blinked. Whatever she wanted to do, she was going to have to make the decision fast. So Eka chose to push, but not too hard. Just enough, she thought.

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

Well, this was a slightly unexpected outcome. It appeared that after overcoming whatever baggage Eka was struggling with, she was feeling really good about her self. So much so, it appeared she was getting a bit…promiscuous. Harumi was not sure how to feel about that as her cheek was getting smushed up against her taller opponent’s private parts. On one hand, Harumi was genuinely happy the Eka was feeling better, and in turn fighting better. On the other hand, the Judoka was not very “experienced” when it came to holds of this nature, her red face presenting that fact to everyone who could see her.

Though there were many thoughts swirling around in the judoka’s head, she decided to pas this whole move off as Eka being affectionate, perhaps she should even be flattered by the Georgian’s passion. It was clear the lack of blood flow to Harumi’s brain was making her a bit ditsy, and by when her head was finally released from the hold it felt as if her head was made of lead, her muscles suddenly feeling much sorer then before.

The stoic woman seemed to lay on the ground, tired and passive as Eka crawled over to her legs, lacing them together and locking them into a figure four leg lock. It hurt, but Eka’s “anesthetic” helped dull the pain. Harumi would not just sit there and continue to let Eka tear her apart. Using what sense she had left, she grabbed onto Eka’s leg while adjusting her own footing. Afterwards, she would begin to rock and move Eka over and use her leverage against her, attempting to put the raven-haired beauty in a leg lock of her own. Harumi was worried about her chance, the fog from the head lock had yet to clear from her brain, and the constant, quick motion was not helping matters.

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

Eka thought that she could get away with it, she really did. Harumi and her had gone quite the distance so far this match, and Eka thought that her stamina might win her the day. But as it turned out, Harumi had quite a bit of fight in her. The Georgian girl was too focused on applying the right amount of pressure that it did not even occur to her that Harumi would struggle back. Her foot was grabbed, and Eka was moved. Her blue eyes went wide with shock as Harumi moved to counter her hold, and pulled it off without a hitch.

And now it was Eka's turn to feel the squeeze. Eka bared her teeth and threw her head back in pain. The veins in her neck popped out, and it took a lot of energy to stifle a scream in pain. Eka balled her fist and slammed it into the mat, both trying to stifle some of the pain that was coursing through her legs and trying to vent some of the frustrations that she had with herself. She had a window of opportunity, and totally blew it.

But that was not to say that all avenues of attack were totally exhausted. Sweat covered her face as she looked up, eyeing her opponent, scrying for any hints of what the woman might be thinking of doing next. Then it occured to her that she should not be worrying too much about what her opponent would be doing. The grand climax of this play had yet to be committed to paper, and Eka wanted to write it herself.

So she flipped the script. Figuratively, by pushing through her pain and donning a brave face. But also literally. Eka used her elbow to give herself a base to push off of, and then called up all of the core strength that she had to try and role the both of them over. Hopefully she would buy herself enough time to wriggle free of the submission and clamber her way to safety.

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

Honestly, Harumi was pushing it by continuing on with this match. Her muscles ached from the many blows and holds they had sustained, and they begged the judoka to please give them some rest, to let them work on the searing nerves that fired off pain every time the muscles clenched or tightened. That type of pain was dull and exhausting, but Harumi could push through it, it was the arm that was getting to her most. It was like a constant cramp was seizing the arm that had been trapped in the vicious Kimura, stabbing daggers of pain with every slight movement she made.

It was a blessing that Eka had gone for a leg hold, giving Harumi’s upper body some much needed rest, even at the expense of her legs. It was only through will the Silent Samurai was able to flip over and reverse Ekas’s hold on her, turning one leg hold into another and keeping the Georgian in place.

But even now, her energy was slipping away, her breathing getting deeper and more erratic. The blackness began to encroach upon the rims of her eyes, the signals her body was sending finally convincing the brain to begin to shut down.

Harumi hardly felt Eka’s attempts to wriggle free, and as the Judoka untensed her muscles, she began to relax more and more, letting her foe escape easily as she slowly went limp against the ring floor, looking as if she wanted nothing more than a quiet nap…

Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride? - Page 5 Empty Re: Eka Guramishvili vs Harumi Hazama: A fight with Pride?

Eka got up to see that Harumi was on her last legs, if she was on her legs at all. It was not a pleasant sight to see, as the proud warrior did not look so fierce anymore. For a second, her face sunk. She did not like what she had done, especially not against a woman such as Harumi. But if she could, she would give Harumi a noble way out. Eka got down, and made herself ready to take the final step.

Harumi was face down, exactly where Eka wanted her. She threw herself on Harumi's back, working quickly to wrap up Harumi's leg once more. Then she would stretch backwards, and wrap her strong hands underneath Harumi's chin, pulling it up from the ground. If she were quick enough, she would be able to cinch in her finisher, the Mountain's Wrath! It was her name for the inverted Indian facelock deathlock.

The move was a painful one, and Eka knew it. She hoped that Harumi would tap out before it got too serious. She grit her teeth. This move always put her body totally on display, with her tight stomach sticking out. The applause that she got from the crowd was surely mostly for her body, and Eka silently cursed them. This was not something that she wanted to be applauded, especially not at this stage in the game.

Tap, damn you, she thought.
