Jem Holland vs Emilia Sanfordson: A Perfect Matching

Jem was an interesting and fun recent addition to AFW. The woman spent more time getting familiar with recording software and gaming meta than she did getting familiar with the side of the ring, but she was by no means a slouch when it came to wrestling. And tonight was another opportunity for her to prove that against whoever it was she was booked to wrestle tonight. Her catchy theme began to play and she would make her presence known to the AFW arena by hopping through the entrance and standing tall and proud at the top of the entrance ramp. The spunky blonde would casually make her way down the ramp, patting the heads of fans and shaking their hands before finally making it the ring apron and reaching up for the rope before pulling onto it and hopping up onto said ring apron.



She'd duck under the middle rope and enter the ring before walking towards the corner on the opposite side and prompting an official near the announce table for a mic. The audience was receptive to her. Many recognized her from her other career as streamer. But as mentioned before, her foray into working both jobs meant that she had to be competent with both, and after getting her views and follows to a respectably high couple thousand, tonight was about proving she could hang with her peers in the ring.

"Alright guys! You know the drill! Whoever management has lined up for me, come on down! But rest assured that you're gonna be getting in the ring with a motivated and determined Jem, tonight! So you'd best be sure to...! as per usual, the audience would join in with her on delivering her catch phrase. "GET SET...! TO GET WRECKED!" The young blonde would shout before tossing her mic to the ground and taking her place in her corner to stretch whilst awaiting the arrival of her opponent.

Emilia did not hear the goading words of the woman as she fixed her attire, although she certainly would of treated the figure differently upon her arrival had she heard so. She had recovered much of her confidence after her outright murder at the hands of Elisa in her debut, and a goading big mouth would only serve the perfect platform to demonstrate some of it against. Still, she wouldn't be any less cocky, even if she hadn't heard such a taunting introduction.

Appearing with arms wide as the arena filled with the sounds of Alive and Amplified, Emilia's smile grew as she realised she was facing yet another modest sized opponent. She wasn't cocky at such a fact, although she was metaphorically leaking confidence, but more grateful that her opponent was not another giant like her very first.

Descending the ramp with her arms wide all the way, she'd soon too roll under the ring, rising as her smile grew. The face she gave the beauty upon standing wasn't so much scary nor modest, but extremely unnerving, given her grin was ear to ear with no teeth shown.

"You're a cute little thing aren't you..."

Jem looked on as her opponent for tonight emerged and began to make her way to the ring. From the onset of their encounter, Emilia exhibited some eccentric behavior. Her arms spread wide, her smile as wide as her face, even the music seemed to compliment her odd mannerisms. Despite this showing, the rookie did her best not to seem outright perturbed. She realized that AFW was home to quite the number and quite the range of characters. They made this very clear during the process of on-boarding her onto the promotion. Even still, being within Emilia's presence proved to be a challenge in an of itself, and the actual match had yet to begin.

When the red head entered the ring and prompted her with a compliment of all things, the only thing apparent about her word choice to Jem was that it spurred no emotions associated with conventional compliments were supposed to incur. Jem could only offer a nervous chuckle and a quick comment in response "Y-yeah,
haha...thanks, um, for noticing, lady." As if the AFW staff was actively trying to augment the awkwardness, the timekeeper rang the bell just a couple seconds after Jem spoke. The blonde glared at the official before returning her attention to her opponent. She looked at Emilia for a few seconds with an expected, disconcerted expression before she raised her arms and prepared some kind of stance to start things off.

With head tilted as the beauty spoke back, it had become evident that the nervous Emilia that one young Elisa had left broken in the ring upon her debut was not present tonight. In this match, Emilia would have a chance to show her slightly perplexing side, made all the more easier to do by the fact she was facing a beauty seemingly equal in stature. Rolling her shoulders briefly as she made her home temporarily in the corner, Emilia's smile began to show a little teeth as she awaited the belt. Her foe seemed uninterested in conversing, at least with the tone she shot back at the redhead, so Emilia simply opted for silence. Although, the Brit had already made note of the apparent disdain the beauty before her was already looking at her with. Was she cocky? Or was such simply her way? Emilia cared not. All she knew was, she did not enjoy it.

With the bell ringing, the fiery young red head opted to go for broke from get go. Sprinting at her opponent before the bell could even ring out, she'd opt to greet the beauty before her with two outstretched legs; jumping off as she closed the distance, in an attempt to dropkick her right on the collarbone!

Jem wasn't the only one in the arena unnerved by her opponent's rather odd idiosyncrasies. Emilia's entrance alone was enough to completely drive off the energy in the atmosphere of the arena. The ambience now felt like the exact opposite of what it was like when Jem had first arrived and offered her speech. The audience maintained a curious and perplexed silence. There was slight hope that things would change when the action started.

Jem was often one to take initiative, but when both competitors took their place in the corner, Sandfordson's odd smile gave her second thoughts. Jem's facial expression conveyed her hesitation. Hesitation that her opponent seemed to be keen on capitalizing on! The eccentric red shot out of her corner before the bell had even rung! She cleared the distance between the corners with impressive speed and jumped into the air before shooting out her legs and nailing the upbeat blonde with a Running Dropkick! Jem could only barely react by lifting her forearms to guard the kick! But the impact would still carry Holland back into her corner with a fair amount of momentum! She'd remain there for a moment, briefly stunned with her arms draped over the ropes. No one seemed to have expected Emilia to attempt something like this. Though the AFW officials didn't seem to care. They'd rang the bell and get this contest officially underway.

In truth, Emilia herself hadn't noticed the bell had yet to rung. She was the odd sort, but not of a blatantly vicious variety that would go so far as to assault her foe before they even knew toe expect it. Rising to her knees though, the bell having now being rung, she simply figured. She'd already started, there was no point apologising in a match after all.

Rising with a glare and smile at the girl as if to suggest the words - 'Oh? Did I do that?' - Emilia leaped at her foe akin to a cat. With the girl to the corner, she intended to keep her there; with hands extending and locking on her shoulders. If all went to plan, she'd straighten the girl out with what strength she could, before driving her knee right up into the mark her feet had already intended to make!

Jem was caught off guard by her foe's preemptive attack which forced her into the corner. What was to ensue from this point was either the referee getting involved or the contest proceeding as it was. And it seemed the AFW officials were alright with the latter. The eccentric red head wasted little time in capitalizing on the opportunity she created. As she lunged at Holland in the corner, the audience began to protest. But that didn't stop Sandfordson from following up by placing hands on a vulnerable Jem's shoulders and driving a knee into her! The force of the blow drove Holland deeper into the corner. She'd fall to her butt after taking the knee.

"Urgh..."

Still stuck in the corner, this time near the bottom turnbuckle, Jem would try to recuperate and find her way to her feet whilst groaning in pain. The crowd's disapproval for her foe would escalate to boos as curvy red head took control of the match early on!

The means of her victory mattered little to Emilia, given that a part of the redhead still stung from her horrific debut at the hands of one very particular giant. She simply wanted a win, one so great it would wash aside the faults that preceded it. Unfortunately for Jem Holland, she intended it to come at her expense.

"And down she goes!" Emilia would roar, capitalising on her cheap shot with an equally cheap knee to the gullet. She'd soon step back, happy to let her foe writhe in the corner at the mercy of the petite redhead. Emilia began to feel the cockiness overwhelm her, but past experience in matches besides that of her debut had taught her better than simply goading her foe blindly. So she'd do the smart thing.

She'd goad her with her eyes still latched.

Not at all forgetting to include the booing crowd in her jibes.

"Oh kiss my ass!" She'd roar, extending her hands out as if to taunt each and every member of the crowd, besides themselves with disapproval that Jem had been the victim of such an underhanded start. Turning her hips, a darker smile came to Emilia's mug.

"Or better yet...I make this little weirdo do it!" Slapping her curvaceous rear as she looked right back at Jem!
