[ONE] Round One Match: Paige Knight vs Tara Kwan

'Finish this quick Tara, it's a all night tournament you'll need your strength'

Obvious words spoken to her by the staff before she committed to her entrance, Tara obviously found such much easier said than done. Free of her foe, part of her wanted to rest on the ground, taking in what breath she could. In part, she was curious as to what would happen if both figures were to be counted out, in part one of a tournament which needed a definitive winner.

Opting not to test it, she'd push herself to her knees before ducking into the ring.

She wanted to simply lay there, she needed to. But with Paige already behind her, she'd simply figure that her vain attempt at winning via count out yet again would once more earn her nothing but a beating. Nudging herself quickly back out, resetting the count and inadvertently saving Paige who likely did not need saving, Tara brought up her hands. Mocking a boxers posture, she'd struggle and sway towards the beauty, her face visibly tired.

"Sorry, tits..gotta put you...down now..." She'd grunt, gasping mid sentence. With the boxers posture, she'd aim for a confusing sweep of sorts; ducking her leg low in an attempt to take Paige's unsteady leg from under her.

Paige would start to get back up to her feet, and she'd hear the referee's count restart. Paige would then see Tara come at her. "Bring it on." Paige welcoming the challenge as she got into a ready stance herself. Paige would then take a sweep kick of her leg sending her down to the floor. "Argh!!" Paige grunted as she began to try to recover. Paige would be down. If Paige managed to get to her knees, she'd try to tackle Tara to send her opponent back first into the ring apron to aggravate Tara's back once again so Paige could gain time to form a plan of attack.

Tara took the ground once more from Paige easily enough; her legs far from the strongest in Friction, but able to unleash precise strikes when needed. With her busty foe dropped to her knees, she'd close the distance, seemingly looking for a grapple to ideally end this fight before she ended up utterly exhausted.

With the referee already calling for two yet again, Tara found her purple-clad foe forcing herself into her, both locking around Tara's knees and forcing the Korean to bump against the ring apron behind her.

"God...damnit...just stay down...!" Left hand to Paige's shoulder, she'd try to raise her right before firing a small combo of elbows straight down, both into her foes skull and upper back. She'd grunt as she did so; it was already apparent that endurance wise, her foe had her beat. She simply needed something to put away Paige abruptly enough to sneak a win.

Albeit, she had absolutely no clue what condition she'd be in for the next round of the tournament.

If she even made it.

Paige would grit her teeth as she felt strike to her head and back from Tara. Paige wasn't going to let that deter her, as Paige would back up a bit before attempt to kick Tara in the stomach to double her over as the referee got to a 4 count. Paige would then grab a hold of Tara's bottoms and hair to begin to toss Tara back into the ring. Paige needed to get this match under control, and Tara seemed to be close to being completely finished. In terms of damage Paige wasn't in the best of shape, but compared to her opponent she was doing decently.

Once more, Tara's efforts at deterring her foe gained a mixed reaction. Struck and thrown, the Korean would yet again find herself ring-bound, albeit only her top half thrown fully in, with the bottom half of her fit figure dangling under the ropes. If Paige had forced the two of them back into the ring, Tara sensed it would be over. She simply didn't have the energy or stamina left in her to fight the beauty, not without the aid of the surroundings. Desperately, she'd give a kick back in the direction of her foe the moment she came towards her legs, in an effort to shove her back.

If Tara was truly lock, she'd either shove Paige with enough force, or catch her off guard enough to push her back into the tables she was previously looking to put the Korean through. She certainly wouldn't push Paige with enough force for her to actually break them, but again, if she was lucky, she might have forced her bustier foe to lean against them. She needed the advantage, and she had just the plan to seize it.

If Paige stumbled.

Tara body was halfway in the ring but her lower half was hanging on the apron because of her opponent's fatigue. Paige would try to throw Tara completely in the ring, however she'd be hit with a push kick sending her back first into the announce table's edge. "ARGH!!" Paige grunted as she held the small of her back as she attempted to recover as Tara seemed prepared to bring the fight to her.

Whether it was luck on her side, or her kick managed to hit a sweet spot on Paige, or a mix of both, Tara had shoved her foe back to the position she desired. Now, the girl had an opportunity to finish this. Sliding her figure underneath the ropes so that she was back upon the apron, Tara put hands to the middle as she forced herself to her feet. A part of her wanted to attempt a springboard move off the ropes itself, in an attempt to put enough force into a move not only to down her opponent, but outright finish her.

She'd opt otherwise; she'd already taken enough damage, and knew a botch would spell the end for herself. Instead, she simply dived at the woman, headfirst from her higher ground. Flipping somewhat in the air in a backflip motion, Tara extended an arm as she closed the distance with Paige.

She didn't know how well it would go, but the Korean was evidently seeking to drive her bustier foe through the table; with a blockbuster!

Paige would find herself in a world of trouble. As Paige held her back from colliding with the edge of the announce table, Tara would be on the ring apron and would jump at her. Paige didn't have the where with all to see what was coming and before she'd know it she'd be broken through the announce table with a wicked Blockbuster. Paige would be laid out on the rubble of the announce table spread eagle as she took breathes while the referee was counting down already at a 4 count with Paige down and seemingly out of the match.

If Tara had jumped at the wrong moment, or simply not pushed Paige far enough into the table, the move would of spelt disaster for her. The former would have allowed Paige to catch her, with the latter resulting in the entirety of her own frame going through the table as opposed to a minority of it. Luck, was evidently on Tara's side.

The table collapsed beneath her foe and a small part of herself, Tara slowly slumbered to her feet. The count already reaching middle point, Tara could but crawl towards the ring, stopping repeatedly to try and force sense back into herself. She'd make it to the ring, likely with time to spare mind. She simply hoped her foe wouldn't join her.

Paige was down and taking deep breathes from that Blockbuster. Paige's chest would rise and fall generously as she took those breathes as she laid in the rubble of the destroyed announce table. Paige was in pain but she refused to stay down, she wanted to keep pushingg forward to try to fight back into this match. Paige would start to stir at the count of 6 and would start to use the barricade to get herself back to her feet by the count of 7. Paige was rattled significantly from that move and it was clear that these women were going all out for this tournament just to get past round one.
