Make a Splash! Gabriel vs Ryuunosuke

Gabe felt a small fanfare go off in his mind as he managed to get Ryuu straight down onto the mat and break the grip on the chokehold. Gabriel tried to squirm away quickly before Ryuu got him back into another hold. But Ryuu was faster than he anticipated; he felt himself yanked back in, and that was something he knew he wouldn't be able to do again. He tried to shift before he locked the bearhug in, and while he didn't get to stop it entirely, he did manage to make it a bit more awkward on Ryuu by turning to his side. And that alone gave him the ability to do what he needed to do.

"Sorry for this, big guy!" he uttered, before he shot his elbow backward and tried to aim it straight for Ryuu's head! Once, twice, three times -- even if Ryuu let go of him, he would go for the elbow one more time before trying to scramble to his feet -- just so he could grab for Ryuu's hair and pull him up, just enough to rocket his knee straight into his jawline. He winced as he did it -- he really needed to learn not to be so empathetic towards other people's pain when wrestling, though maybe it was just Ryuu? No matter. There would be no avoiding the man seeing his hard-on at this point, so might as well just move like it wasn't happening.

Ryuu didn't much mind if he only got Gabriel locked in sideways, a bearhug was still a bearhug, and he was gonna bring down the full brunt of his strength on the man. He grunted loudly as he tried to crush the air from the man's lungs manually, and he had the feeling that Gabriel knew he was prey caught in the trap. It made him smirk somewhat as he rolled the opposite direction, trying to keep Gabe off his game and adapting to the situation.

The main problem was Gabe's resourcefulness, which continued to find ways to slither his way out of Ryuu's holds. This second grounded bearhug was no different, he used the side angle to line up his elbow with Ryuu's head and WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! bash the bigger man's face in. It felt like his head had been dunked in a bucket of molten pain as he lay there dazed, arms fallen to the mat aside him. He was barely lucid when Gabriel dragged him up by the hair and slammed his knee into his jaw, which collapsed Ryuu like an instant KO. He laid spread eagle arms at his sides, chest heaving up and down but eyes shut tightly in his head. He made small groaning noises as he shifted his limbs just enough to show that he was still awake, just the jaw equivalent of punchdrunk. Had Gabriel been cheating during the match, this was exactly the opportunity and circumstances that SEME waited for before storming the ring and taking matters into their hands as a team.

Gabriel was quite resourceful. As the runt of the family and typically the smallest guy at school, he learned quickly how to fight and win against people much larger than him, and much stronger. This wasn't something new. No, he was always the person backed into a corner, always the one on the receiving end of a rough move or what have you. It was just that he tended to shine when he was backed into a corner, more so than when he was just in the middle of the ring. When he managed to get free of Ryuu, he wasn't going to hesitate anymore. He was moving almost automatically, fluidly, like it was something ingrained in him. He had good teachers over the years, which helped him to get better when it came to reflex.

He watched Ryuu lay spread eagle, that chest heaving up and down, but he wasn't done yet. He moved toward the corner, climbing up the turnbuckle, crouching himself on the top -- before he launched himself off, flipping in mid air if only for the beauty of it, and landing, elbow first, onto Ryuu! With that, he would go for the cover, hitching one of Ryuu's legs up and using his other arm to keep the man's shoulder's down. But hopefully, he wouldn't need to put much more of a fight into it -- those were some of his biggest moves.

Ryuu felt like he was going in and out of it as he lay there panting, the roars and camera flashes of the crowd were miles away in his mind. All he could feel was pain and heat, perhaps the tickle of sweat rolling down his features. He had barely moved from his initial spot while Gabriel was moving to climb the ropes, things were looking grim indeed.

Ryuu wasn't sure how long he had been laying there, but it was definitely too long for Gabriel to have been up to any good. Sure enough, it felt like a polearm had been lanced straight through his chest when Gabriel came crashing down atop him, making him shout loudly in pain. The redhead climbed atop him and hooked one of his legs, initiating a kickout reflex that Gabriel had covered with his other arm, and that was already after the 'ONE' count. He summoned all the strength that he had left into throwing himself up, actually managing to nudge Gabriel slightly out of position, but not enough to clear his shoulders. Shit! The 'TWO' count rung loudly in his ears and he knew that he had just blown his last chance. He wasn't going to be able to break the pin before the third sealed the deal officially.

Holy fuck.

Did he just--?

"THREE!"

The bell rang, and Gabriel found himself -- on the winning side. He sat up for a moment in shock, looking around, over at the referee as if making sure that was a good count. But it was. The ref grabbed for his hand and pulled him to his feet, thrusting his hand into the air as the loudspeaker announced the winner of the match! Honestly, Gabriel felt more like crumpling to the floor than anything, but he couldn't do that yet. He looked down at Ryuu for a moment, before he pried his hand away from the referee. He moved to crouch down, grabbing for Ryuu's arm and trying to help him up to his feet -- using his pants belt as a handhold, he settled Ryuu against him. Which did nothing but rile the crowd up more. There were no hard feelings from Gabe -- it was an amazing match.

He shifted, beginning to move to walk the two of them out of the arena, with one hand firmly latched around Ryuu's waist to help him out, and with Ryuu's arm casually draped over his shoulders.
