Feeding Time: Mako “The Shark” Vs Shido the Fanboy

Some members of the crowd sighed or groaned when Mako kicked out. That Powerbomb looked like it came out of nowhere. If anything was going to get Shido the 3 count, it looked like it would be that move! But those groans would eventually turn into cheers for the Shark-like woman. She showed great resiliency and guts in refusing to let it end here! The force of her kicking out was enough to force Shido back and onto his butt in a sitting position. If anything communicated her frustration with being pinned at this point, it was that kick out, right there.

"Eeeehhhh, looks like all I managed to do was make you mad, haha." Shido said as he laughed to himself. The Fanboy seemed more surprised than the crowd did. The expression on his face gave away his expectation that the match was about to be over. He'd begin to find his way to his feet, likely around the same time Mako did, since his moment of shock and reaction wasted few, yet, valuable seconds.

Mako broke free of the pin right in time, which was going to be the start of a very rough fight for Shido. The crowd had started cheering for her now, and the shark would get to her feet soon. And as the fanboy did the same, he seemed a bit shocked by her resilience. It seemed like Shido was laughing a bit like he didn't make a dent in her. But he made a dent though, a damn good one. So Mako would give him the same respect he had given her...which was by pummeling him as hard as she could from here on out!

So now that both were back on their feet, Mako would put up her fists before delivering a a good deal of punches at Shido.  Striking in a pattern of left right left, she'd mix it up at times by sending a low kick at either of his knees, as well.  This way he'd stumble a bit, making it easier to force him backwards. She would continue this barrage of fists until he was backed into the closest corner. Mako wouldn't even speak now since her only thoughts were unsurprisingly "Punch, punch, punch, kick". Right now she was in the zone and nothing was going to break her focus.

After both fighters found their way to their feet, Shido would notice that Mako seemed a tad less than charmed with the Fanboy when she was ready to resume. She put her fists up and began to let loose a flurry of blows that only picked up in speed and force as she kept them up! Shido was blocking them decently enough at first, but he'd begin to get pushed back after one of the kicks connected with his knee. This caused him to loose balance and take two punches completely unguarded, forcing him backwards towards one of the corners!

He'd hold jaw with one hand before looking up to see the Shark looming over him. "So...uh...we're not cool?" The young man inquired whilst making a small, but visible enough smile.

Mako's merciless offense had knocked quite a few opponents out for the night, and Shido wasn't much different.  Now the fanboy was doing a very good job of blocking her strikes, but after she struck his knee the young man stumbled a bit. This caused two unblocked punches before he stumbled backwards into the corner.

Shido still kept his humor though, even after taking her fists to the head. So with a smile Mako would say, "Heheh...nah, we're cool" and strike the fanboy with a quick uppercut to daze him. That way she would be able to try laying Shido on the middle ropes in the corner. She'd keep him hanging there until pulling herself up to try driving her knees down into his abs with her signature 'The body breaker'.

Shido was knocked into the corner. He maintained his demeanor of humor and silly comments as Mako closed in on him. Despite the nonchalant attitude, he wasn't being silly because the sense was knocked out of him - no, that happened when Mako hit him with a stiff uppercut to the jaw! He was banking on the ref beginning her count to break them up and get them out of the corner. And as soon as Mako jacked the Fanboy's jaw, that count would begin.

"1!!! Get him out of there! 2!"

Despite the ref's protest, Mako had time. And the Shark made sure to make the most of it. She nearly effortlessly set the man up in the corner for her Body Breaker maneuver. Before the ref could hit 5, she'd drill her knees into Shido's midsection, sending him crashing into the canvas and forcing him to hold his gut!

"UGH!"

Mako almost took too much time when keeping Shido in the corner as the ref girl counted. But with just enough to she managed to drill the fanboy in the ribs sending him down to the canvas holding his stomach. Afterwards Mako was quick to back away so that the ref girl wouldn't count to five, giving Shido a moment to recover.

But soon the shark would go back to grab Shido's arms, and pull him towards the middle of the ring for pin. He'd taken a big hit right there, so Mako was betting she had a good of winning it all here. But if not, she would still get to continue the fight. Mako was going to be happy with either of these outcomes, but what came next depended on just how much Shido had left in him.

Shido's reliance on the ref to bail him out of his situation wasn't a bad plan, but it did have it's flaws. Mako was no slouch. She finished up her business with him with enough time to spare. After successfully hitting him with the Body Breaker, he'd be easy pickings for her to drag across the ring. Mako would pull the Fanboy to the center of the ring and cover him for a pin!

"ONE!" The ref's hand slapped the mat right after Mako pinned the man. The slap was near Shido's shoulder and something he'd hear right away, prompting him to open his eyes wide and kick out! "TW-! One count!" The referee would raise her hand and signal that it was a one count. Shido would try to sit up and state: "You...you really thought, it'd be that easy? Haha."

Mako was just hearing the ref girl count two as Shido kicked out of the pin, and soon after was taunted by the fanboy as he laughed a bit. "Oh now you've asked for it!" she would shout more pumped than angry.

Now that she was really fired up, the shark would quickly grab her opponent by the arm and pull him to his feet. It was more like she jerked Shido to his feet though, and without even letting go, Mako would pull him around and whip him him towards the ropes.

So should Shido bounce off the ropes and back towards her, Mako would stand right where she was ready to deliver a hard clothesline with her right arm. "Here comes the pain Shido" she would think to herself ready to deck the young man.

Shido had moderate faith in his durability. He had tanked some nasty moves in previous matches before being put down for the count. And he looked to show off the same kind of resiliency and guts in this match as well. He barely processed Mako's words as he tried to rise to his feet, but sure enough The Shark would do him a favor and help him up, anyways. The Fanboy would be yanked upwards before being thrown to the ropes with an Irish Whip!

The force he was thrown with would have him speeding towards the ropes. The sudden rush would awaken him a bit. As Shido bounced off the ropes, he'd Mako prepping herself to attack. The move wasn't obviously telegraphed, but enough that Shido could make out what it is was she was going for: a Clothesline. The Fanboy would speed up and duck under her arm and avoid the move! He'd continue speeding up, reaching the other side of the ring and bouncing off those ropes in mere seconds and returning to meet Mako.

If the woman ducked low to avoid him or attempt a slam, Shido would use him speed to hop over her and run for the ropes yet again. If she stood up to face him again, the man would attempt to jump into the air and thrust his upper body forwards for a Shoulder Block!

Mako was so close to decking Shido with her right arm. She was right in front of him arm about to take his head off and knock some pain into his skull. But it didn't happen like that. Instead Shido ducked at the last second, causing her arm to just barely graze his hair as it flew past her.

Damn she was close with that one, but now Shido was coming back after bouncing off the ropes yet again. It seemed like the fanboy was gaining speed for something, she'd better trip him up fast to stop him. So Mako would quickly dive on her side in an attempt to trip Shido, but the young man just hopped right back over her, going even faster as he bounced of the ropes a third time.

This was a bad position for Mako as she got off her stomach. She had only seconds to think of another counter before Shido was back and the shark used most of the time to get to her feet. So in a split second decision, Mako would would spin quickly to her left as she extended her right leg for a lightning fast roundhouse kick. If all went well the shark's kick would land right where she aimed, which was on the side of her opponent's skull. Hopefully her leg would connect before his shoulder strike did, giving Shido one nasty headache.
