Shiyomi Tanikawa vs. Hannah White. Standard Boxing

Despite appearances, Hannah was a capable fighter. At worst, she was competent. Not only that, but she isn't as soft as she seems. There is a reason why she's called "Sweet n' Strong" instead of "Sweet n' Soft." Instead of donning her soft pink gloves, she picked up her standard gloves, putting them and preparing herself for a standard fight. Her opponent is Shiyomi Tanikawa and she wasn't the cheerleader type like Hannah. It was time for Hannah to show that she could be rough. She entered the stage, her music playing as she walked over to the ring, entering and going to her corner, waving and blowing kisses to the audience as she got ready for a brawl.

Shiyomi was about to make her debut here at Momentum. She had joined the roster a while back but for some reason the management hadn't offered her a match in ages. That's why she was suddenly shocked to discover that out of nowhere the phone rang and a matchup was offered.

She had done some research on Hannah. She seemed like a softcore boxer, so a fight like this was surely going to be too much for her? This would be a peice if cake, Shiyomi would go in, knock Hannah around for a round or two for the audience and finish her with a uppercut. Walking out towards the ring, Shiyomi punched her two black together, taking long and confident strides towards the ring. Climbing up through the ropes, Shiyomi noticed that Hannah had a height advantage. Not a big one, but enough to know that Hannah would have a longer reach. Despite this, Shiyomi wasn't put off. She punched her gloves together again and looked at Hannah. After making sure her mouth guard was in correctly, the ref called them both to the centre of the ring. Shiyomi would get there first, staring Hannah all the time, trying to physch her out.

Hannah gave Shiyomi a smile as she came in. She kept her cool, for the most part, keeping her happy-go-lucky attitude as she walked torwards Shihomi, her guard raised and aside from her carefreeness, she seemed much like a typical opponent, yet because she was so carefree, she might look less experienced. Hannah was hoping to surprise Shiyomi. In fact, she was going to suprise her right off the bat with her hidden strength as she throws a right, trying to hook around her foe's guard and show her that she is stronger than she looks.

Shiyomi would watch Hannah very careful just before the bell rang. She most certainly didn't seem like she was a dangerous threat at all. Infact it didn't look like Hannah even cared for this match at all. And for some reason, her carefree attitude annoyed the hell out of Shiyomi. Shiyomi had spent the past couple of weeks making sure she was in top shape for this matchup. As soon as bell rang, Shiyomi raised her guard and made sure her legs were spread apart enough to be extremely mobile.

Hannah seemed to want to get things started, throwing a right hook to try and hammer Shiyomi in the side of the head. Sadly for Hannah it was far to early to go for any sort of guard dodging punch. Shiyomi ducked down to let the punch wander over her head before getting back up and firing a left jab right into Hannah's gut, trying to apply some pressure to see how fazed she would be by it.

Hannah was hoping Shiyomi would be caught off guard by the early maneuver, so when it missed, Hannah knew she wasn't letting up her game one bit even though she seemed to believe she was as incompetent as she looks. Then again, an incompetent attack from an incompetent opponent would also be expected, so she decided to change tactics, but not before taking a jab to her gut. Shiyomi was middle of the road for normal boxers, so she did feel a bit of pain, but otherwise, she took the hit like a pro.

Immediately after the hit, Hannah would respond in kind, sending a jab straight at the woman's gut as well, hopping to turn this into a fight of trading punches.

It was satisfying drawing a grunt from Hannah. Shi had managed to carefully play Hannah and now she had the initiative. Shiyomi was going to follow through with a jab herself but Hannah responded too quickly, hammering her own gut with a punch. Shiyomi would gasp from the punch, doubling over ever so slightly. The punch had way too much power in it. It stung like hell too. Where was this girl getting that sort of power from? She wasn't built like a tank, but seemed to punch like one.

In order to survive, Shiyomi took a step back, eager not to trade blows with Hannah now. She would raise her guard and look out at Hannah, getting ready for her to fire some sort of attack.

Hannah smiled, landing her strong hit. She had a lot of finesse and technique in her strikes, so it wasn't as unbelievable as some would believe, but that also meant that her attacks weren't as strong as an Amazon's. She noticed Shiyomi go on the defensive from that strike. This was the common response, so Hannah already had a plan next. She began to push the offensive, trying to not let Shiyomi any room to breathe and counter. She began to punch at her, three right jabs aimed at her face before sending two lefts at her belly, seeing how she reacts to all of them. If Shiyomi was perceptive, she would realise Hannah has no guard up whatsoever. She is pure offence right now.
