Peala's open challenge (complete)

A pale moon stood on a pitchblack nightsky.It was somewhere at the beach.A dozen of stars shone on the spread cloak of night like holes made with a dagger of silver. Out of the waves, almost gliding trough the water, came a small frame, a shape. As it reached the land it stepped out and giggled, looking around. Then she crossed her arms in front of her chest and yelled out a challenge:"I am here..any one her to face me?"
The girl looked strange but not like a big challenge.

Following the shoreline, Delphina was going for a late night swim out of restlessness. She was having trouble sleeping, and figured it would do her well to go for a good swim in the ocean. Upon hearing a strange yell from the beach, she popped her head above the water and noticed someone standing on the beach alone. Hmm? What's someone doing all alone out here? she thought to herself before continuing to follow the shoreline closer to the strange girl. She didn't actually hear what was said, just that something was yelled.

Once close enough, Delphina will pop her head out of the water again and call out to the strange girl, "Excuse me, are you looking for something?" She'll just tread water out in the ocean with her head above the water as she awaits some kind of response from the girl on the beach.

Peala turned around in a slightly clumsy motion, eyes a bit wider.She pressed her small fists into her sides and shouted:"I am Peala and I came here to look for a worthy challenger, a woman ready to show her mettle, to test mine".Pealla tried to look impressive.

She came to the beach in the middle of the night to look for... a fight...? That's a new one, Delphina thought to herself with a slight sigh before continuing in thought as she scanned the shore, Aww, doesn't seem like anyone else is around... Guess that decides that.

"I'm Delphina, and apparently I'm your only option right now for a 'challenger'. Perhaps you should've come during the daytime when more people might be at the beach?" she'll respond warmly staying where she is in the water.

Peala looked at the dolphin girl, the kid's eyes narrowing.She tried to judge the dolphin girl with a look.She then smiled and said:"Depends on one thing, do you wish to beg for your life alone or in front of an audience?"
The little fumorian cracked her knuckles with a grin.

...Beg for my life? she repeats in her head as she watches Peala carefully. Delphina will plainly respond, "I'd prefer to not beg for my life," before starting to slowly approach the shore where Peala was standing, but still wouldn't emerge from the water entirely. She didn't know what to expect from the girl, but it seemed that she was either trying to scare her, or she was more than she appears to be.

Peala shrugged and stepe dcloser to the water, warming up with some shadowboxing , prancing in small circle.Then she looked at Delphina and asked:"So will you fight..puhh..or not?".
Peala threw jab after jab into the air and the shadowboxing seemed almost like a challenge or taunt.She kicked up some sand as she did her circles there, her eyes fixed on the dolphin girl and waiting for a reply.

After a slight moment watching Peala shadowbox, Delphina replied with a hint of reluctance, "I'll fight... What rules shall we use for the match?" She was as ready as she'll ever be for the fight to begin, but figured to at least ask if the girl wanted to use any rules. I hope I don't end up regretting this, is all that crosses her mind as she watches Peala.

Peala smiled and stopped the shadowboxing, taking a step into the water, arms spread wide with a small shrugg as she said:"What rules do you demand? I need none but winner takes all".The girl said so with a broad grin.

Delphina just gives a slight sigh at Peala's remark before thinking, She seems to like to strike... I wonder how well she can do so in the water, as she glances away from the girl for a brief moment. She'll bring her gaze back up to Peala and lightly reply, "I don't demand any either," before giving a light stroke backwards away from the girl. "However, you'll have to come out to me," she'll add with a very light smile in hopes that Peala might be hampered in the water.
