Not sure who this Kana person is, maybe the new girl Asuka knows her.

Pft, Asuka. Trying to catch the Evangelion fanbase, it seems. :V

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
God damn, that was a good show. I mean, DAMN.
The tag matches were great. I loved the story they told with Finn, and I think they actually established a flaw in his character here - he's a guy who MUST show off, even when it's not the best idea. That'll come back to bite him, I think, and there's gotta be a Samoa Joe rivalry coming.
Gable and Jordan were damn impressive in their matches, of course - I loved the part where they started chanting Gable's name to Angle's theme song. They see greatness in him, and rightly so. I think they're too hard on Corbin, though - despite them saying he sucks, he's a perfectly fine wrestler. He didn't look out of place alongside three guys with far more experience in the ring than him, and everything worked great.
Asuka vs Dana was far better than I expected. I was initially worried that maybe Dana couldn't keep up, or that the speed that they brought Kana in might be a problem, but no - she's just as good here as she ever is. It was a great debut match, and she had the crowd pumped like she'd been there for years. You've never seen a crowd get behind someone on their first match in a promotion like this, I promise you. Props to Dana Brooke, too, who did a great job selling everything Asuka dished out, and who looks pretty good in her new ring gear.
Apollo and Tyler was good, too. Not the best match on the show, but still above the usual TV match. They did a lot of neat stuff, and Apollo is as impressive as ever. The part were he deadlifted Tyler up and hit him with a powerbomb out of nowhere was just BOSS.
And, of course, the Iron Man match was a thing of pure beauty. Right now, I feel like the first match was a little better - this one was a wee bit sloppy in spots, I think. But overall, it was golden, and it did a great job of telling a story. It was never boring, not even for a minute. There was always something new happening, and there were great reversals, and it really felt like this evolving competition, where opponents were outhinking each other and it was just so sweet.
I know I sound like such a fanboy right now, but damn. I love NXT.
