Blinking a few times, Satomi didn't see that coming, certainly not expecting Shizuka to be so.. brave about her statement. Did she just admit she didn't care if she died in a fight??? "Don't say that!!" Satomi suddenly bellowed out in the gym, nearly yelling for the first time as her words echoed faintly and she quickly covered her mouth from realizing how loud she was. "I..I'm sorry, it's just... how can you be so careless about this all? It's insane... you.. you're going to get yourself killed with that kind of attitude. Clearly worried, Satomi had both her hands braced on the girl's shoulders as she said that, looking her in the eye with a daringly hard gaze that seemed determined to make sure she changed what she said or assured her that she would stop acting that way. Just how could someone ever care so little about their life?!

" Huh? " Shizuka wondered what Satomi could have meant with that. She wasnt that careless with her life. That's why she didnt give up while in the hospital bed. That's why we all see her here fighting again. Because she didnt give up. To be honest,she had less than 20% percent to come out alive from the operation she had to suffer after her match with Merith. But she was standing now. That's a big progress.

" Relax! I'm not going to let anybody kill me! And if your experiment works okay....I'll get better than I am right now! " Shizuka cheerfully answered back at the scientist with a playfully smirk. There was no remedy...She was simply too immature.

This girl... she really was a unique person, that was for sure. Nothing seemed to bring her down, even with these injuries and her risks. Once again it left Satomi inspired, and she felt the desire to really begin helping this girl, knowing it was what friends would do for one another. After all, the two considered her a part of their group now; Satomi still couldn't beleive it, but today she had made to really kind friends she was proud to be with.

"Well, with optimism like that, I'm sure it would increase the percentage of the success rate." Satomi said clearly, even now sounding like everything was an equation and science with her, despite it coming down to a normal conversation. "Just keep in mind, I can't make any guarentees, however I have been known to hardly ever make a miscalculation." There was a gleam in her eyes and off her glasses as she said that, her grin not only confident, but almost a little dark, like there may be more to her experiment than she was leading on...

Shizuka smirked with a confident smirk. She nodded,accepting that there may be a little mistake. But remembering how Satomi fought all over the match,she really doubted that something bad could happen to her during the experiment. If the scientist used ecuations to even find out what to do next,she would surely not have a problem with the cure.

" Okay. I think I can resist. But that doesnt mean that you can make mistakes on purpouse!! " Shizuka yelled with a nice and friendly tune of voice at Satomi,obviously just messing around.

With only a brief pause, Satomi gave a resolute nod, only to then reach out and put an arm around Shizuka's shoulder. Such an action was something she really wasn't used to doing, as Satomi hardly prefered being into contact with anyone, but she felt so... casual and at ease around them, it was remarkable really. "Well then, if you say so. We can get a taxi to my place whenever you feel decent enough to walk, alright?" Not wanting to rush the girl, but having a feeling she was too eager to listen, Satomi put out one last warning just in case, feeling ready herself, but only making a final check with things first.

"Oh,I'm ready! " Shizuka cheerfully announced,hopping up to her feet,like the match never took place. Perhaps she didnt need much time to recover. But that theory got discarded when she fell to her knees,not even five seconds after standing up. Yui let out a concerned sigh. " You'll really get yourself killed,Shizuka. " Yui said,a bit worried about Shizuka's behavior. Though she knew she shouldnt be worried. Even if the little schoolgirl looked fragile and weak,she was really strong at will and fighting spirit,and that was what fed her body to always resist,even in the worst situation.

Yui doubled her knees,crouching,and put Shizuka's arm over her shoulder. She stood up,helping the little girl to get back up in the process. And then she asked Satomi to call a taxi to wait for them at the entrance so they could go to her apartment.
" Why dont you go calling a taxi now? I think that would save us some time. "

Er.. maybe she wasn't completely ready yet? Satomi sweatdropped a little as Shizuka sunk to her knees, clearly pushing herself to a point she shouldn't be, left still shaky from the aftermath of their fight. Satomi was sore as well, but no where near as much as this girl was. Still, after a few moments of getting her act together, Satomi took out her phone to call and prepare for a cab. Or rather, one could only guess it was a phone, as it had a large screen on it and enough buttons and commands to make the latest Iphone look like something as old and pathetic as a pager.

Within minutes, they would be on their way to Satomi's house, the mad genuis' lab awaiting to be used in order to help Shizuka. What the girls didn't know or expect though was how obscure and even unrational Satomi's logic may really be...
