Hibiki Izayoi vs. The Won Sisters - Rage of the Dragon

The Dragon was stunned. There was a loose scale in her mighty armored skin. Bridget saw the slight glimpse of vulnerability, and her confidence began to rise once more. She could beat this woman. She was sure of it. After all, the strength mattered little if she could not actually strike her opponent. She was fast enough to avoid destruction. So long as the younger Won Sister remained mobile, she could whittle her opponent down to nothing.

She tooked a short run to the ropes as  Hibiki turned around, looking to take her off guard with a running knee strike to her face. She even began to jump up for the move. Unfortunately, that only meant that, when Hibiki came flying at her, Bridget's feet were off the ground. The spear was much less pleasant that way.

She hit the mat like a dead weight, crashing so hard that she made Cindy's body beside her bounce off the mat. She couldn't move. She could barely breath. It felt like her organs had been rearranged with that hit, and Bridget was in a world of pain she never imagined even existed. "How..." She asked between her wheezing breathes. "How..."

Hibiki didn't bother answering Bridget's question. There was no point, really, not when the woman was about to die at the hands of the Purple Dragon.

She started to rise back to her feet, turning her gaze towards Bridget, staring at the woman all the while. She was almost, almost impressed. Cindy might have taken the lead on the microphone, and acted like she was the brains of the group, but Hibiki knew which of the sisters was the real threat. Bridget had stood up to her again and again while her sister acted like a coward, and had even managed to get a hit in on Hibiki.

Unfortunately for Bridget though, all this meant in the end was that Hibiki was paying special attention to her, and having the attention of the Purple Dragon was never a good thing.

With a sneer, she stepped towards Bridget, leaning down to grab her by the arm, to pull her up to her feet. The moment, the exact moment that Bridget was standing again, Hibiki would suddenly pull her around, whipping her towards the further corner of the ring, as hard and as fast as she could.

Bridget had started to sit up, realizing just how terrible her situation was, trying to get back up before the Dragon could begin to burn them alive. It turned out too late - when she sensed Hibiki's tight, unrelenting grasp on her arm, she realized that her night was about to become exponentially more painful.

She'd only just stood up when Hibiki sent her off running, hurling her across the ring at breakneck speeds. Her feet barely touch the ground. They didn't really need to. Hibiki's power carried the momentum, and all Bridget could do was turn around so that her back hit the turnbuckle instead of her chest. She did not want to show Hibiki her back any longer than necessary.

Bridget slumped in the corner, slid down the pads, and it was only her arms around the top ropes that kept her from falling all the way. She shook her head back and forth, as stars danced across her vision.

Hibiki began to walk towards Bridget as the Chinese woman slammed into the turnbuckle, slumping against it. She didn't rush, or hurry towards her. She moved slowly, steadily across the ring, staring towards Bridget as if she was a piece of meat, ready to be beaten and tenderized.

When she finally neared Bridget, she leaned down, grabbing each of the woman's legs. She let out a roar and stepped back, jerking on the legs of the sister to pull her back out from the corner, trying to tear her grip from the ropes.

Once she had done that, she would then kneel down, adjusting her grip on Bridget's legs, then start to lift her up, trying to raise the Won sibling so that she was sitting atop of her shoulders. It seemed like Hibiki was setting her up for a powerbomb, but she wouldn't drop her, not yet, wanting to keep her held aloft for a moment, giving the woman a chance to realize the situation she was in.

Bridget could not see Hibiki as she stared down at the mat, she could not hear her approach over the crowd’s cacophonous roar, but she could feel the Dragon’s approach. Her every step sent a noticeable tremor through the ring, with a steady, predictable beat. A death march, growing closer and closer.

Bridget was acting on instinct now. When she felt Hibiki grabbing her legs, it was instinct that made her hang onto the ropes for dear life, fearing what the Dragon had in store next. In doing so, she only made her situation worse - up she went, tossed into the air like a child, and down she came, crashing onto the mat like a sack of onions.

All sense left her for a moment, but when it returned, she was acutely aware of being raised into the air, lifted while she was in a seated position. Her groggy eyes opened and panic set in as she realized that she was in one of the worst places to be in the entire city: on Hibiki’s iron shoulders.

”没有!” She shook her head and started to squirm, trying to slip free. Trying. As hopeless as it was, she had to try.

If Bridget wanted to come down so badly, Hibiki was more then happen to let her down.

The Dragon held her aloft for several long seconds, smirking as the woman squirmed about, helplessly trying to break free from her grasp. She lifted her gaze, staring at Bridget as she tried to make an escape, but it wasn't happening, not until she decided to let her go free.

Which, of course, she did in the most violent manner possible.

She took a pair of steps forward, moving back towards the turnbuckle, and slamming Bridget down and forwards at the same time. She was trying to bring her down not with a powerbomb, but with a giant buckle bomb, trying to smash the Won's spine into the turnbuckle as hard as she possibly could.

The good news was that Bridget had taken more than a handful of powerbombs in her time, so while this would undoubtedly be quite painful, it was nothing she could not withstand. Her muscles tensed, she grit her teeth down hard, preparing mentally and physically for the plunge and the impact.

The bad news was that the plunge was a lot shorter than she expected, and the impact came at a completely different angle than normal. She was so dazed that she hadn't even noticed Hibiki's placement in the ring - the corner. Not a good place to be.

"Aaah!" Bridget's back arched at an obscene angle as it came down on the turnbuckle and stayed in that position, as the Won Sister shrieked towards the rafters.

Nearby, Cindy was roused back to the land of the living by her sister's mad howl. Groggy, hurting, but still capable, she grabbed the ropes and slowly started to pull her way up. She wasn't eager to take on Hibiki once more, but she could hardly leave her sister to such a horrid fate.

With Bridget howling in pain, the sister angled against the turnbuckle, Hibiki decided that her work with the woman was done (for the moment, anyway) and turned around, turning her attention back toward Cindy. The sight of the smaller, mouthier Won pulling herself up pleased Hibiki. She was saving the Dragon the trouble of pulling her up herself, and it was giving her the chance to knock her back down again as well.

With another loud, angry roar, Hibiki began to charge across the ring towards Cindy. Her arm came up as she neared her, the violent Wrestle Angel trying to smash into her with a devastating lariat, trying not only to knock the life out of the woman but to knock her over the ropes and out of the ring, too!

One rope. Then the other. Then the other.

It was slow going, but Cindy was getting back up with the aid of the ropes, making her way back to her weakened legs. She had no idea what her next step would be now that she was standing, but it hardly mattered - the moment she looked up, she saw a freight train barreling straight towards her, an unstoppable onslaught in the form of Hibiki Izayoi’s arm. The worst part was that Cindy had just enough time to see it and realize what was about to happen, but not enough time to do anything about it.

The terrible impact sent Cindy over the ropes she’d climbed up on a moment ago, and she tumbled down to the floor below. Her back hit the ring apron on the way, and it all ended up with her face down, flat on her chest, very much wishing she hadn’t bothered to get back up in the first place.

Cindy dropped out of the ring, and Hibiki was right behind her, the enraged Wrestle Angel quickly climbing through the ropes and onto the apron, hopping down onto the floor beside her.

Without missing a beat or wasting any time, she stepped towards Cindy'd legs, grabbing them to flip the woman back over onto her back. Then, she grabbed her legs, crouching down to get a good, strong grip on Cindy, lifting the smaller Won onto her shoulders much like she had to her sister just a minute earlier.

Above the two of them, back in the ring, the referee was counting, yelling at Hibiki to bring the fight back inside, but she was paying the referee no mind. She had cruel intentions, and she wasn't getting back into the ring until she had seen them through.

Once she had lifted Cindy up, she began to pace around the ring, heading towards the steel ring steps, and everyone in the audience knew exactly what she was up to as she approached them.
