Haruka Date vs. Yuki Kanno

The screws were tightening in on her. Or maybe it wasn't fair to call it the screws. Maybe it was the nails in her coffin...

No. The Silent Phoenix couldn't afford to think like that. Not yet. The girl managed to keep her grip on Haruka's chin and her attempt to wriggle free met with complete failure. Haruka paid dearly with this failure as Yuki pulled back more, pushed more and even dug her feet in. Her spine was stretched to its limits and every part of Haruka's body was wracked with pain.

Time for something a little different. The Silent Phoenix reached behind her, tried to grab at one of Yuki's ankles and twist it. She never really learned how to escape a bow and arrow hold and this was all she could come up with on the spot. And if it worked, she could twist the other one just as easily.

With the change in positions of the submission, Yuki showed no hesitation as she pulled down on Haruka with her hands to dig her feet in her. This was the first time she tried this maneuver and it appears to be working quite efficiently, even the crowd is amazed by this variant of the Bow and Arrow hold and applauded the Crimson Daze.

As Yuki continues to pull and bend away at the Wrestle Angel, she feels her ankle being grabbed and feels the grip as if it's trying to twist it. It wasn't working at all though, since using all of your muscles makes them harder to budge. It was amateurish to even try, and so Yuki will then proceed to pull even harder on Haruka's legs and chin to bend that back just a little bit more, to at least make the girl cry out.

Even if she doesn't cry out, Yuki is only holding this for a few more seconds since she is a nice girl and isn't like those heel wrestlers that like to torture their opponents. Hence why she never even asked if Haruka would give up as well. She'll just let her arms off of her opponent's chin and legs then just throw her legs forward to toss the woman off of her out of the hold. After that Yuki will push herself up to stand back onto her feet.

Well, this was annoying. Haruka was helpless against the hold for even longer. None of her defenses worked and the girl eventually let her go. The Silent Phoenix rubbed her aching back as she eyed Yuki up and down. At least she wasn't some brutal heel that would just torture a wrestler forever. Haruka slowly got to her feet, her body still aching from the submission.

Her time playing defense was over. It was high time to bring the heat to this little rookie. Haruka decided to try something a little bit new, a little bit out of the ordinary for her. The Silent Phoenix darted towards Yuki with her hair flowing elegantly behind her. Haruka rammed a punch aimed at Yuki's got, which she hoped would buy her an in, so to speak. If she could get that, she could follow it up with an excruciating standing abdominal stretch!

Yuki's eyes kept on Haruka even as she was down on the ground, since most of this match has proven that the girl cannot take her eyes off of her for even a second. She rose her arms up offensively as her opponent stood herself up, aiming to press on the attack all while expecting Haruka to remain on the defensive. But as it turns out, she was wrong. Instead of that, the Wrestle Angels woman charges at the Crimson Daze which catches her off guard to allow a blow to her abdomen get through!

"Ughh...!" The punch to her gut makes Yuki double over while standing up, reaching to clench her stomach as well. But the second Yuki touches her tummy, Haruka already and quickly wraps her body around Yuki's, putting her into an Abdominal Stretch! She clenched her teeth while she was in pain, but didn't scream or grunt at all while Yuki tried to wiggle and shake her way out of Haruka's grip to free herself from this hold.

The rookie's attempt to break free from the hold were mighty and Haruka was beginning to struggle. It might have been the sweat or the ache, but Yuki was almost jostling her way to freedom. The Silent Phoenix clenched her jaw. She was quite strong and she wasn't quite sure what it was that was helping Yuki break free, but sure enough, she was getting there.

Haruka wasn't about to let her go without a fight. The Silent Phoenix pushed her forward, off of Haruka. Yuki would be facing away from her and it would give Haruka a wonderful opportunity to send an absolute rocket of a kick towards her lower back. That should put her on the mat, Haruka thought. And if it didn't well, more kicks and punches and chops and the lock would be coming soon anyways.

After enduring all that she could in the process of trying to escape, Yuki was just suddenly released from the Abdominal Stretch. But she wasn't just simply freed, she was harshly pushed away from Haruka. This made Yuki stagger quite a bit as she struggled to regain her balance, in time she did and stood up right. Even though it wasn't over yet as the young grappler feels her lower back getting kicked hard, as if she was Sparta Kicked like from the bloody American movie 300. "Ack!"

Not only was Yuki kicked, she was felt like she was shot by cannon of all things. The force of the kick sending the poor girl off of her feet and farther away from her opponent, even sliding a bit on the mat before stopping at the ropes. "Ughh..." That really did not feel good at all, and it left Yuki at a big disadvantage here. Her only hope now is to get back on her feet before Haruka moves in, all while using the ropes to help her up.

Haruka felt a surge of pride. She hadn't managed to keep Yuki in the ab stretch for as long as she wanted to, sure. But at least she got to pull off one of her devastating kicks. Her powerful leg struck Yuki like a viper and sent her skidding across the mat. The crowd picked up on Yuki's downed state, and beseeched Haruka to go in for the kill.

Well, maybe not the kill. But certainly a big, powerful move that would put a damper on Yuki's efforts. The Silent Phoenix dashed towards her rookie opponent and rose into the air. She contorted her body in mid-air so as to avoid the ropes and hit Yuki dead-on with a graceful moonsault. Her mind raced- Haruka knew her opponent would try to get up and she had to be quick if she wanted the move to land!

While some of the crowd were on Haruka's side, Yuki's abuse from her has won over most of them as seeing a nice and talented rookie getting trampled never left a good taste in anyone's mouth. Unless the rookie was a major bitch, like Gail Hatzis who earned a LOT of hate from fans and wrestlers alike. The fans were urging for Yuki to get up quickly, but even then they didn't have to as she was already climbing up, using the ropes as leverage to speed it up.

As Yuki was going as quick as she could, she already rose up to her feet but remained hunched over while leaning on the ropes. This match was really starting to get pretty fierce, something that Yuki didn't expect to escalate to so quickly. She was about to push herself off the ropes to continue the match, but as she did, Haruka was dashing at her then leaped in the air at Yuki! There were only two options that Yuki had to take now, take the hit or try to counter the Moonsault.

Obviously she wanted to go with the latter here. So if Yuki could, she'll try to bring up her arms to catch Haruka in mid air. With one arm going for between her legs and the other at her shoulder while bringing one leg back to brace her stance. Yuki will try to spin around with Haruka upside down in her arms if successful, as to turn the momentum against the woman before leaping up and slamming her down with a Powerslam. In doing so, earning a roaring cheer from the crowd and a surprised shock from others.

Haruka gasped as she felt herself being plucked from midair. Before she knew what was happening Yuki had gotten all of her momentum against her and she was powerbombed into the mat. Haruka grunted and screwed up her face. The Silent Phoenix searched and searched but couldn't find any sort of hidden strengths the girl might have had before the match. When she was in the zone, she was in the zone, but she had been shaken loose from it now.

Perhaps it was the surprise, but for a moment, the Silent Phoenix had been returned to the earth. The crowd was going nuts over the quick and painful reversal, much to Haruka's chagrin. Her arms and legs were spread wide and her long hair laid at an odd direction to her body. That move was a good one. Haruka would have to learn it later. But for right now, all she could do was try to survive whatever was coming next.

Yuki sighed in relief as she laid on top of Haruka after slamming her down. She felt very glad to have been able to counter that Moonsault, or else she would have been in a pinch. As the crowd's cheers for the grappler, Yuki sheds a quick smile before pushing herself back up off of her opponent. Her back still hurt a bit from that kick earlier and definitely told how good Haruka was at strikes with her feet. So Yuki'll have to try her best to avoid them now.

Looking down at the sprawled "angel" on the mat, it gave Yuki a chance for a submission here. The Crimson Daze quickly scans Haruka to see where she would target, but her answer was simple. Considering the strength of those kicks, those legs of hers were the biggest problem for Yuki so far, they have to go. With that in mind the young girl goes over to Haruka's legs and seizes one of them. She'll rotate around the leg to entangle it with her's then grab the other leg. Finally Yuki will drop her butt down onto the mat and fully lock her legs around Haruka's, to apply the Figure-4 Leglock submission and put the hurt on her opponent's strong legs!
