Hana Fujioka vs. Army Rodriguez ~Big Guy, Bigger Girl~

Hana grit her teeth, letting out a low growl through them as Army suddenly slammed back into her, their shoulders pushing into each other's own. She was pleased with the match so far too, though you would never have guessed from the look on her face either! She was determined, focused, and she was going to come out on top in this clash. She knew she could outlast Army here, she just had to keep up the pressure and not let him gain any more ground.

"She's fine," Hana answered, losing her balance for an instant as Army begin to circle around, but the massive woman was quick to shuffle her feet, keeping herself upright, though she did lose a step of ground to Army in the progress. "I've had worse then that yelling at my matches. I should tell you about my grandmother sometime."

She clenched her hands tighter, sheer determination on her face as she inhaled again, drawing up her strength again. Then, with a louder, longer cry, she lifted one of her legs, stomping it loudly against the mat before letting her energy explode, trying one more time to force Army backwards.

More than anything, Army admired Hana's resolve, the way she kept everything together even though they were going at it like dueling rhinos. If you'd have read this conversation on paper without the context, you'd have thought they were just friends having a casual conversation. You wouldn't have seen the fury in their eyes or the sweltering heat as their laboured breathes met each other, couldn't see the way their skin bulged with veins Army never knew they had. It was impressive, and Army felt some pity for the poor guy who went against Hana and didn't have the strength to match. Unless it was Clyde. With him, he'd probably just DVR it for kicks.

He had a little chuckle as she lost her balance, but it barely lasted a moment before she corrected the mistake. Strong and smart."Would love to hear it. Sometime. Maybe when I'm not about to blow a blood vessel."

Army felt her summoning up another surge and tried to prepare himself, but it was like getting ready to be struck by lightning - even if he saw it coming, that didn't mean he could do much to stop it. Hana drove him back with monster truck force, pushing him towards the last place he wanted to be: the corner. With a woman like this, that would only lead to pain. Excruciating pain.

"No, no..." Army's feet slid along the mat before he planted them down hard enough to shake the ring, stopping her only a couple of feet away from the turnbuckle. He leaned into her for a little extra force, got his leg muscles into the act, and made a hard push forward once again, bellowing out with a lion's roar along the way. "And...back...you...go!"

Almost. She almost had Army pushed back into the corner. It was so close, so very very close, but once again Army planted his feat down and stopped Hana's progress, stopped her dead in her tracks again. His strength was impressive, but at the same time it was almost infuriating, the way he kept stopping her like this.

Then he started to push forward again, and Hana felt herself starting to lose ground, Army pushing her back, one step at a time. Hana growled, through clenched teeth, and tried to brace herself, but Army seemed determined to force her way, not giving up any more ground to the dark-haired woman. A few more beads of sweat rolled down the side of her face, as she felt herself being forced back again, first to the center of the ring, and then further then that.

"Nnng..." came a slightly frustrated sound from Hana. She quickly decided that neither of them was going to get anyway like this. They seemed too evenly matched in strength, and while she didn't want to be the one to break their grapple, at the same time she realized how futile this was going to be for both of them. So, as Army slowly forced her back, back towards her own corner, she began to slowly ease up on her pushing, willingly letting Army push her back more, the woman already thinking of ways to turn this around and into her favor.

Army would really have to thank the stagehand that suggested he drink an extra gallon of water before he came out for the match with Hana. At the time he didn't think it would be all that nescessary, figuring this would be a quick, simple fight against a newbie. But if it wasn't for that stagehand, he'd probably be dehydrated before this match was even halfway through. He swore, he'd already lost enough fluid to fill half a cup, though he and Hana were so close that it was hard to tell how much of it actually came from his own body.

But all the effort was working, Hana was going back, Army was getting the advantage. It was a slow process, but one that was getting easier and easier. He couldn't be 100% sure, but it seemed like his strength was winning out, and soon he'd have her in the corner. With a boxer, that was a very bad place for her to be.

"Feeling the burn?" Army managed to squeeze out a little taunt after a long exhale, as he continued the slow march to the turnbuckle. There were a few boos mixed in with the crowd's reaction, but it was nice to hear some cheers along with them, too - whatever their feelings, some fans just respected a good fight, and they wouldn't leave this one disappointed.

When they were a few feet away, Army slammed his foot down, bellowed out a war cry, and put the rest of his power into one, final surge to make sure the last steps of their journey were the hardest for Hana - he was going to ram her back right into the turnbuckle, full blast.

Hana braced herself, as she heard Army's cry, heard his foot slamming into the mat. This was the moment she had been waiting for, and it was taking all of her willpower to not start grinning like a madwoman at how easily Army was falling into her trap.

The moment Army began his final surge forwards, trying to ram Hana towards the corner, the woman shifted her position. She took a quick step to the side, and gave Army a loud roar of her own. With the well-practiced skill of a veteran of the ring, she tried to swing Army around towards the corner, trying to use his own momentum to send him straight towards the turnbuckle instead of herself, stepping out of the way so that she could lead him into the right direction.

Unlike Carmen, Army hadn't invested all that much time in improving his wrestling skill. He could do some fairly basic powermoves, had a few standard throws and counters thrown in there, but nothing complicated. He honestly felt like it wasn't that important - when you outweight most of your opponents by several weight classes, skill goes out the window. He knew enough.

After this match, though, he was going to consider changing his tune, especially if it meant not falling for traps like the one Hana just suckered him into.

The power that was meant for Hana was wasted on the turnbuckle as she moved away. He slammed into it chest first, hitting with enough power to shake the entire ring and knocking the wind clean out of him. It was all he could do to turn and lean back in the corner for support, as he shook his head and tried to process what just happened.

Carmen couldn't resist a little clap and a quick smile Hana's way. She was on his side, still, but that didn't stop her from appreciating skill when she saw it. Not to mention the impressive package it came in. "Come on, Army, get it together, don't let her control you like that. Fight smart, not just hard!"

Hana noticed Carmen's smile, of course. Right after she had tossed Army to the corner, she glanced towards the Latina, curious as to how she would react to her brother getting thrown against the turnbuckle like that. She assumed that given his size, Army didn't get throw around too much, so she was wondering just what Carmen's reaction would be. She was a bit surprised by her smile, but she didn't let it distract her too much, quickly turning her attention back towards Army.

"Come on, big guy!" She bellowed towards him, moving in close to Army. "You don't want to disappoint your sister!" She was teasing, of course, but part of her was serious. She wanted Army to put up as much of a fight as she could get out of him. Win or lose, she wanted Army's best, so that she could give her best to him in return. This wanted this match, her debut, to be a match that everyone would remember.

She moved in towards Army, and lifted her arm upwards, drawing it back towards herself. With Army in the corner and with nowhere to run, she decided to turn up her attack. Wasting little time, she let out another yell, her arm snapping towards Army's wide, bare chest, the Amazon aiming a great big chop right for him.

That should be enough to bring him back to me, Hana inwardly decided, as she stared upon him, wondering how he's react to the sudden shift in the match.

Army groaned, and it wasn't just from the feeling of getting slammed into the corner, though that was a large part of it. On one hand, he appreciated Carmen's support, but on the other hand, he didn't need to be told that Hana was kicking his ass. That was extremely apparent. "Like I said, I got-"

Hana's devastating chop cut off his last words and replaced them with a sharp yelp, as her arm slapped him hard against his bare chest. He couldn't see it all that well from his vantage point, but he knew that one was going to leave a red mark on his tanned skin. He could already feel the spot burning, like someone had rubbed a bunch of stinging nettles all over his pecs.

On the bright side, though, he was fully awake now, and more than a little pissed. Not mad at Hana, exactly - just mad. Fighting mad. In the spirit.

"You want it?" He leaned back at against the turnbuckle, brought  his leg in, and tried to give her a solid kick in the gut, using the corner to reinforce his power as it shot out. "You got me!"

Army's sudden trip back to reality left Hana with little time to react or to prepare herself for his sudden attack. The look in his eyes and the sound in his voice was more then enough to let Hana know that Army was out of his brief daze and ready to kick her ass.

His leg shot up, and thrust straight towards Hana's stomach, his boot driving deeply into her gut. The massive powerhouse of a woman had little choice but to double over forwards, her eyes growing wide as the kick forced the air from her body, Hana clutching at her gut with one hand as she got her own taste of just how much power Army was really packing.

If Hana's stomach hadn't been uncovered, Army would have sworn she was wearing some kind of armor. Sure, he'd seen abs like that before, but he never knew a woman could have them, even one this big. She might have even had him beat in that area, and he didn't have an ounce of shame in saying so. It did make him want to work out with her even more, though.

Hard as they were, though, they didn't make her invulnerable. The kick worked, even better than he'd hoped - it didn't just get her to back off, but left her wide open for any attack. And he knew just the one.

Army moved over to her as she stumbled back, grabbed her shoulder one hand to make her stand up straight, and lashed out with a chop of his own, to the exact same spot she'd hit on him a moment ago. Granted, she had more padding in that area than he did, so it might sting a little more. But fair was fair. If Army was going to win this fight, he'd have to treat Hana just like she was a guy. If it was okay for her to hit him there, it was okay for him to her there. Equality, all around.
