Keno Anderon and Mion Kiaragi vs Mariko and Yamato Ishii

Mion flung Yamato across the ring, right to the ropes. Despite being smaller than both Keno and Yamato, the Queen of Diamonds had a well toned body honed through years of karate and judo. Thereby allowing her to wield the needed strength.

Now what? Mion wasn't thinking that far to be honest, she had years of training but not much in the way of actual experience. Strikes, that was something the Queen of Diamonds was good at. Not strikes in the manner of Keno, but Mion used precise and focused strikes.

The Queen of Diamonds would move forward as Yamato bounced off the ropes, taking a step forward with one leg. Mion would blast her left arm out at his chest with a palm strike ala Wesker. It wasn't an attack that was usually used, but it fit Mion's martial arts background. But the attack was very narrow, if Yamato somehow moved somewhat to either side the Queen of Diamonds would miss completely.

As Yamato was flung into the ropes, it seemed his senses were finally starting to return to him. Perhaps it was all the sudden movement that more or less jolted him awake, or maybe time had simply done its work in helping him recover. He couldn't be sure. But either way, his vision was becoming clear, and he recognized Mion preparing to attack.

And as the Queen of Diamons threw her palm forward, Yamato attempted to duck down and run right underneath her arm. If he managed to avoid the strike, he'd keep running and go right into the set of ropes just ahead and bounce off of them to once again rush right toward Mion.

This second wind wasn't going to last long, and he knew he had to make the most of his remaining energy while it lasted. And as he came off the ropes, Yamato shouted out and threw his body through the air like a missile at Mion, aiming to slam shoulder-first into her to take her down!

If she moved out of his way, the brunette would simply crash down to the mat. But whether he hit her or not, this attempt would use up all of his energy, and he would be lying almost motionless on the mat afterward.

Mion's palm narrowly, narrowly failed to hit it's mark. If it had Yamato might have been blasted clean through the ropes and through the entrance ramp maybe, okay maybe that was exaggeration. But the fact remains he'd have to have been scraped off the floor.

At any rate Mion's target had slinked past her, and by the time the Queen of Diamonds retracted her arm and turned to face the direction in which Yamato had turned. Mion was plowed right in the chest by Yamato's attack, it was pure desperation on his part.

The Queen of Diamonds let out a loud grunt of pain, followed by a groan. Her legs briefly going up in the air, and then falling back down. That was a 6 foot guy that rammed right into her, although one should have expected her to be used to that considering the company she kept.

"Ghnnn....." Mion seethed out, she was knocked aback and stunned for the time being.

Following the intense collision between Yamato and Mion's chest, Yamato collapsed to the mat, not moving except for the heaving of his chest and stomach as he gasped for air. He was exhausted, and needed to tag out as soon as possible.

Mariko recognized this clearly, and was holding her hand out as far as she could, urging him back to her corner. "Hurry, Yamato! Tag me back in!" she yelled out to him. Yamato heard his sister, though her words almost seemed distant in his dazed state.

After a few moments of recovering, he grunted as he began to claw and crawl along the mat, slowly starting to inch his way back to the corner. Each inch felt more like miles as he moved. And inwardly, both he and Mariko were praying the Queen of Diamonds wouldn't be able to recover in time to stop him before he reached Mariko.

"C'mon Mion, be the girl I know!" Keno shouted out, pounding the turnbuckle pad to get her attention.

The voice of the Jack of Clubs helped stir the Queen of Diamonds, she knew that tone anywhere. From the time she first met him in that Vegas alleyway to when they made love in her parent's dojo late at night, but this was no time to be reminding herself of that.

The karate/judo girl tilted her head to see that Yamato was moving to make for a tag to Mariko, Mion knew that he was seriously on the brink of being beaten. But the Queen of Diamonds hadn't forgotten what Mariko tried to do to her, and would love to get another go at her.

And besides each time Yamato crawled away meant that Mion could regain her strength, granted she was sure she was in a better state than Yamato. But still he was a 6ft guy who just bowled into her, and so Mion would take it slow. And take the chance to regain her breath, she knew Mariko would be rested. Discretion was the better part of valour as she rose to her feet, taking in deep breaths to regain her energy.

As Yamato slowly crawled toward his team's corner, Mariko noticed Mion slowly beginning to rise. But as her green eyes peered into the Queen of Diamonds', it was clear she had no intention on stopping Yamato. As if reading her mind, she knew what Mion wanted was another clash between the two women. And Mariko was feeling more than ready for round 2 herself!

Yamato suddenly dove out and slammed his sister's hand to tag her in, and the crowd erupted as she stepped through the ropes and entered the ring. It was clear that by now this was the favorite matchup amount the four competitors, and the fans were just as ready for it as Mariko and Mion.

Mariko wasn't foolish enough to rush recklessly at Mion, but she wouldn't waste any time either, and quickly walked over to the Queen of Diamonds. She moved her hands to grab a hold of her foe's hair to begin pulling her up to her feet, before suddenly launching a knee toward her stomach, hoping to knock out the breath she'd just taken the time to regain. "Hyah!"

And if her strike hit, Mariko would then Irish Whip Mion toward the ropes at the other side of the ring and wait for her to be sent back toward her.

Mion was taking every second she could to catch her breath, she knew that Mariko was focused and calculated. The Queen of Diamonds didn't want to be tired before her, else it would easily spell doom for her and Keno. And then Jake, being the drama king he was wouldn't let them hear the end of it.

As Mion rose to her knees she was cut off by Mariko's hair grabbing, a wince appearing on the girlfriend of Keno. The Queen of Diamonds gritted her teeth as the knee was plunged into her, Mion was just biding her time. One good move was all she'd need.

Now with the Irish whip Mion formed an idea, it wasn't something she'd done before. But the Queen of Diamonds figured why not? And as she neared the ropes Mion would perform a handstand, placing her feet above the top rope. Using the momentum to bounce off the ropes Mion would then cartwheel after planting her legs on the ground to face Mariko and fire off a discus clothesline at her.

Mariko had recovered most of her energy from the last time she'd been in the ring, and aimed to use that to her advantage. Her knee connected with Mion's stomach, and she then whipped the Queen of Diamonds into the ropes.

Mariko expected her foe might try some sort of counter coming back from the ropes. However, she certainly didn't see this impressive display of acrobatics coming as Mion suddenly performed a hand spring into the ropes before cartwheeling back toward her.

"What the…" she began to question. What in the world was she planning? And how should Mariko try to defend? Both were logical questions, but she hesitated too long. And the next thing she knew, Mion's arm smacked across Mariko's chest with a clothesline, dropping her down to the mat. "Ugh!"

Mion had just busted out something she never thought herself capable of, the Queen of Diamonds fell down after colliding right into Mariko. Looking up at the lights blinking rapidly, the crowd was in an uproar after seeing that impressive feat of acrobatics.

Hell even Keno was taken aback, he knew that Mion was a capable mover. But the Vegas brawler never thought his girlfriend could throw something like that out. "Holy shit Mion! You take crack before this match or something?!" the Jack of Clubs yelled out.

Mion merely rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's comment, trying to recover and get back into it. The Queen of Diamonds would try to move over to Mariko, and apply a headlock with her left arm. After a feat that Mion didn't know she could do given her fighting style, the Vegas Quartet member figured something simple and easy would be the best thing to try and go for.

A light moan escaped Mariko's lips as she stared up at the lights. What the hell was that move Mion just used? It was unlike anything Mariko had seen before, and it had been impossible to follow the Queen of Diamonds' movements.

All she could hear were loud applause and cheering for Mion from the audience. But soon she noticed her foe's arm come to wrap around her neck in a headlock. "Tch. Dammit…" she muttered under her breath as she instinctively brought her arms up to try to push Mion off of her.

Mariko had to be smart, knowing Mion was keeping things simple for now to avoid making a mistake. That meant Mariko would most likely have to try to catch her by surprise with something unconventional.

Many wrestlers in this predicament often escape by bringing their legs up to trap their opponent with a headscissor, and initially that's what it would seem Mariko was attempting to do, as she pushed on Mion's head while throwing a leg up. But instead of trying to clamp it down to pull her into a headscissor, Mariko threw her knee aiming right for the back of her foe's head, hoping to daze her enough to make her release the headlock.
