NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: You can start with series 1 (2005, 9th Doctor). Series 2 (2006, 10th Doctor) or Series 5 (2010, 11th Doctor). The show periodically ends old stories and begins new stories so that new fans can jump on board to avoid the comic book problem.
