Sarah Gatt vs Cardia Waters (Completed)

Sarah's trademark sneer returned to her face. She knew that one had to hurt. Now the fun could begin.

Grabbing Cardia by the throat Sarah lifted her until they were eye level. She took pleasure in the fact that her knee had bruised the girl's face some. "What's the matter?" she asked mockingly. "You look like you aren't having a good time. After all your big talk I figure you wanted me to beat you."

After that little chat she would abruptly punch Cardia painfully in the stomach.

Cardia's arms struggled against Sarah's grasp on her throat uselessly. It took her a second to get her bearings, but her eyes finally met Sarah's. She forced a grim smile on her face, as if daring Sarah "Oh... I'm having a great time."

Sarah's punch knocked some more wind out of her, but she choked out, "Bitch... You're nothing compared to my last match." She didn't so much mean it in the sense that she was likely to win this round, but she wagered Sarah couldn't do anything to her worse than what Lukretia did.

Summoning what strength she could, she lashed out in a kick at Sarah's leg, the one that had hit the ring post before.

Sarah cried out and almost lost her grip on Cardia's throat, falling to one knee. That leg had taken enough punishment, even from a previous match. Did all her opponants have to think the same?

Snarling, Sarah would reach between Cardia's legs and lift her over her head to the throat, then toss her into the ring's center.

Cardia yelped as Sarah grabbed for Cardia's leg. She tried one last thing to prevent this move from going down. With her good arm, she struck at the back of Sarah's elbow, hoping to damage the joint. No sense playing nice now.

Again, Sarah cried out. She had not been expecting a joint attack at this point. Cardia had more tricks up her sleves it would seem. She was forced to drop her, and then she would crawl to the ropes to use as support.

Cardia trembled with pain even after she was let go... those last couple of attacks... both hers and Sarah's... really took a lot out of her. But no matter how much it burned, she knew if the momentum shifted toward Sarah it would not shift back. She staggered forward hoping to kick Sarah's leg, but instead misstepped and tripped onto her foe's back, pushing her into the ropes. Trying to force her limbs to work, she tried to strangle Sarah against the ropes.

Sarah's surprised cry came out only as a gurgle as her throat was pressed unmercifully against the ropes. Focusing through the burning feel on her neck and the haze that was begginig to form from lack of air, Sarah would throw numerous elbows back into Cardia's face. Using her uninjured elbow of course.

It would only take a couple of elbows to dissuade Cardia from this plan of action. She rolled off, falling to a sitting position beside Sarah. The world was still a painful daze to her, but she was able to make out one thing... her foe's wounded leg. Reeling back, she launched another kick at it with all the power she could muster. She was angry... and not entirely at Sarah... but she wanted to see this girl suffer.

Sarah thought she had gotten the better of Cardia. After all, how many blows to the head could one girl take? So she was in for a surprise when Cardia struck her injured leg, as well as a lot of pain. Sarah screamed and feel back from the ropes, clutching her leg to herself.

Cardia would lash out at the leg until Sarah rolled away, but after that, Cardia would just fall back, clutching her throbbing head.
