Anybody using Blue?

I know. It's just a change that bothers me, it's always bothered me.

It's especially stupid in the localization for the Pokemon Adventures manga. During the Fire/Leaf arc, there's a part where Red's Venusaur learns Frenzy Plant and Green's Charizard learns Blast Burn. They end up swapping Pokemon for a battle, and have the two Pokemon use those attacks. Someone watching comments as they're fighting that the two trainers have truly lived up to their names, Fire Red and Leaf Green. I have no clue how the English version of that scene played out, but, y'know. KIND OF HARD TO HAVE THE SAME EFFECT WHEN YOU SWAPPED THE NAMES.

Clearly somebody didn't have the foresight (what is it, 15-16years now?) that such issues would rise when a relaunch of the series occurred ^^' But I agree 100%..there was no reason to swap the names aside from making sure your games' colors made sense to the unfamiliar Americans.

Now before this topic gets too de-railed: Anybody using Blue's image (Green to the edumacated peoples) from the Pokemon games/Pokemon Adventures mangas as a character base?

I'm 90% certain that no one is. I've never seen him in anyone's profile before, so I would suppose he's fair game.
