The day I Cerbera'd my Laptop

Oh yes, it finally happened.

It decided to shut down again while I was in the middle of a war. So.. After tolerating this shit for the last month, I decided to be like my precious Cerbera.. AND BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF IT.

Now there are alotta parts on the floor and a dead laptop.. Oh well, I did warn it would happen.

So I'm on the laptop of my work now. Woohoo.

Have you considered a cooling solution?

I'll put what's left in the freezer later.

It sounds like it was just overheating. A good cleaning and something to cool it would probably have solved the problem.

Yeah, I hope you haven't actually destroyed your' laptop, because Bluemouse is right and the likely solution for this problem costs about ten dollars.

Actually, the plugin of the recharger was broken from the inside, I've send it to the shop 3 times and they said they fixed it every time, only to see that it was still broken.

Even if it was recharged to 50% ( After position the laptop untill it would actually recharge. ) It suddenly closed down and after turning it on again, it was on 1%. Today I got tired of that and simply broke it.

Not the most cost effective solution, but I guess you won't have any more battery/charging problems with it. " title="Razz" />

Ah. My Inspiron 15R does the same thing. Who puts cooling fans at the bottom of laptops?
