Kanai Vs. Natsumi

Kanai was busy backstage, getting ready for the match ahead. It had been a while since she faced anyone in the ring, after the Kawaii tournament. It had ended pretty badly for her, getting defeated by her cousin and rival Reiko at the end of the tournament. But now she was back, and she was ready to face anyone! Her match preparations weren't like most wrestlers, no stretches or warming up or anything like that. Rather, she was busy brushing her long hair to a bright sheen, and fixing up her clothes to look as adorable as possible. After all, as a Kawaii, she wasn't so much expected to fight as to look cute.

She got up and left the dressing room, heading out to the ramp. The bright tones of Co.no.mi.chi played over the speakers, as Kanai bounced down to the ring, her long pigtails bobbing. The crowd cheered for the adorable wrestler, with many of her fans mixed in. Kanai waved to the crowd, smiling brightly as she walked. She slipped into the ring and gave one final wave, before resting in her corner and waiting for her opponent.

"So who's gonna be my opponent?" she said, hands on her hips, a cute determined look on her face.

While Kanai's music sounded, Natsumi looked at her own reflection in the mirror backstage. She sighed deeply as she looked at the attire she was wearing, chosen by Casandra or one of her minions. A pair of high black boots laced all the way up close to her knees that were covered by also black knee pads. A brief black thong that didn't let much to the imagination and a matching bikini top that didn't offered much support for her ample breasts. Natsumi adjusted the fingerless gloves, also black and checked up her hair, held in a bum behind her head and the heavy make up she was told to wear.
Natsumi was confused. She had a lot of contradictory feelings storming inside her. On one hand she hated this. To be dressed in such a slutty way. Forced to fight and usually get humiliated in front of a live crowd...and who knows how many more thanks to the magic of cable. She hated to be Cassandra's sacrifice fighter, but then again the contract she had signed to save herself from her family's debts with the Yakuza didn't left much room for bargain. Cassandra literally owned her ass. Being someones property was probably what little Natsumi hated the most.
And yet, she was excited. She hated to admit it but she liked the wrestling. Pitting herself against other girls was so much fun. And now that she had tasted her first victory, she was elated. Sure, she had beat a cute little kawaii in a soft bed match. But still, she had WON. And she planned to win again tonight. Natsumi nodded to herself with a look of determination when she heard it was her turn to go into the arena.

'Born to lose' from Black Label Society started to roar in the sound system and Natsumi quickly realized what she hated the most about her contract with Cassandra: This song.

She walked down the aisle ignoring the whistles and cat-calls of the fans, climbed up the stairs and slide between the ropes into the ring. Looking at her opponent for the first time Natsumi smiled. It was such a cutie, surely another Kawaii. Natsumi knew she should be in the kawaii league, not fighting the veterans of Friction... Or two Kawaiis at once, like she usually had to. This was something she could do. She could beat this girl.

Ding Ding Ding!!!

Natsumi heard the ring bell signaling the start of the match and she quickly brought her hands up in a sort of combat stance. Looking at Kanai intensely.

When Natsumi came out onto the ramp, Kanai couldn't help but be rather shocked by her opponent's attire. Everything from her sexy black boots to the barely-even there bikini seemed incredibly embarrassing to wear. She wondered if this girl was one of those shameless ones in the AFW, a bit worried since those were the ones most likely to humiliate their opponents.

But then Kanai noticed that Natsumi seemed just as embarrassed as she would be, blushing a bit and constantly checking her clothes to make sure nothing was exposed. She let out a sigh of relief. Perhaps Natsumi was being forced to dress like this. Of course, being dressed so skimpily gave Kanai a good estimate of her opponent's strength. She seemed slightly taller and heavier, but didn't have much more muscle than Kanai. She probably wasn't any stronger.

Kanai took a few steps forward as Natsumi entered the ring. "Hi there! I'm Cutie Kanai, I hope we can have a good match!" she said brightly, smiling at her opponent.

Despite her best efforts, Natsumi couldn't hide her embarrasment and nerves. She was blushing bright red like she always did when she was forced into the ring dressed like a slut. So any chance to intimidate the smaller fighter were gone. Natsumi looked at Kanai with jealousy. So cutely dress and so confident of herself. Natsumi told herself that she too could look that cute... Even mor, if she was allowed to chose her own attire. The polite greeting only made Natsumi feel more embarrased.

"Yeah, whatever..." She hissed, but immediately regreted her words. That had been so rude. And then again, it wasn't Kanai the one to blame for her situation. Natsumi bit her lower lip feeling the hand of guilt gripping her gut. But something told her that it may not be a good idea to start apologizing to the girl that she was supposed to fight. No, it actually may be a good idea to get angry at Kanai. Channel all the frustration to her opponent may give her an advantage, Natsumi thought. She hated the idea but Kanai, as cute, friendly and pilote as she was; was the enemy. Trying to emphatize with her would be a horrible mistake. Natsumi frowned. She didn't liked to be mean, but she decided that if she was going to earn some respect on this league and recover some of her dignity, she had to show she was not a push over...and that she feared left no other option but to be mean.

Natsumi took a deep breath trying to focus all her anger into Kanai and with a soft roar, she lunged for the kawaii's head, trying to slide her right arm around Kanai's neck to bring it under her armpit in a headlock.

Hearing the aloof words Natsumi responded with made Kanai's bubbly attitude disappear. "I'm just trying to be nice here!" she said. It seemed that Natsumi wasn't here to make friends. That was fine with Kanai; despite the fact that she was a Kawaii she could hold her own in a fight, especially in this kind of an even matchup.

When Natsumi charged, Kanai quickly ducked underneath the attempt at a headlock. She had plenty of experience in the ring from her previous league. She was no amateur. After that, Kanai would get behind Natsumi and grab the arm that tried to catch her, attempting to twist it behind her back in a chicken-wing armlock!

Unlike Kanai, Natsumi had very little ring experience. All she knew about wrestling came from what she had seen on the TV and what little she had learnt in the three wrestling matches she had for AFW, where she got her ass soundly kicked. Natsumi tried to make up for this lack of wrestling knowledge with raw physical prowess. But that wasn't out of the ordinary either and didn't helped her at all with her attack attempt. Kanai easily dodged her arm and Natsumi quickly find that same arm trapped behind her own back in a very unconfortable position.

"Aughhh nooo!" Natsumi protested as she held her right shoulder with her left hand. Her right hand and arm firmly trapped in Kanai's hold. Natsumi could help but feel quite nervous as she realized that this little girl she was fighting was actually a REAL wrestler.

"Errr... Why don't you be nice and let me go?" Natsumi asked almost like a plea.

After putting Natsumi in the debilitating submission, Kanai knew that her opponent was an amateur. That was an obvious move that anybody with a decent amount of experience could avoid. She heard Natsumi's cry of pain, twisting a bit harder to make sure she didn't break the hold with her struggles.

"You're asking me to let you go?" Kanai said, "Alright then." She slowly loosened the hold on Natsumi's arm, then gave the girl a hard shove forward as she let go of the hold. Kanai took a step back, putting her hands on her hips, a slight frown on her face. She was honestly quite disappointed by that last plea for mercy, it sounded like begging! "And I haven't even started yet," Kanai thought.

Natsumi stumbled forward after Kanai pushed her. She turned around and rubbed her hurt arm. Now she began to think it would have been better if Kanai hadn't released her. She felt like a wothless wimp. The fact that the crowd was booing widly really didn't help at all. Natsumi embarrasment only kept growing as the crowd became louder and louder. But when she saw Kanai look of dissapointment her humiliation crossed the line of what she was capable of tolerating and it turned into fury. Natsumi frowned and her eyes locked with those of Kanai as her face turned bright red. Natsumi didn't felt like she had any good option now. Attacking Kanai after she released her would seem treacherous but if she backed down she would seem like a coward. No. She had to fight. Natsumi took a handful of deep breathes and she calmed down. Her face turning back to its normal color. The crowd became silent after the storm of booing.

"I am sorry Kanai" Natsumi said trying to control her anger. "Hope we have a good match". She added and then she raised her arms challenging Kanai to a test of strength as she had seen so many times in the tv.

Finally it seemed that Natsumi was getting serious. Kanai had hoped that the disdain combined with the crowds disapproval would get Natsumi to take her seriously. She saw Natsumi offer a test of strength, raising her hands off her hips and moving forward to lock fingers.

"That's better," Kanai said, "Your attitude before was just wrong, you know? Try to enjoy yourself a little!" Her fingers locked with Natsumi's. Kanai began to push forward slowly, seemingly to test Natsumi, not going all out just yet.

Natsumi interlocked her fingers with those of Kanai. She looked down in shame as Kanai reprimended her. "I know...I know... I am sorry Kanai-san" she said, partially bowing while she held her arms up matching Kanai's effort, not going all out just yet. "I have no exucse, so please forgive me for that..." Natsumi continued as she increased the pressure. "...and for this." She finished raising her head to look into Kanai's eyes at the same time she lifted her right knee aiming to hit the kawaii in the navel, right belowe her belly button.

It was a cheap tactic, but Natsumi felt she didn't had much options. Kanai was a wrestler, she was not. If she wanted to win, she was going to have to fight a little dirty. Natsumi didn't liked being the heel, but she didn't wanted to lose. And besides, the crowd hated her already, so why play the good girl and get her ass kicked. No. She was going to win. No matter what.
